About: Animal rescuer and full of energy! I've grown up around animals my whole life and have cared for several growing up. I've been around all sizes and personalities and love entertaining each one of them! I'm familiar with the process of pet sitting and caring for all different animals. I've administered medicine before, so animals with medical conditions are welcomed as well! I live near various trails and a dog park, so your fur-baby will always be entertained! I have a dog of my own, who is friendly, and loves the companionship of other animals. Feel free to reach out to me anytime, I'm always looking forward to meeting your best friends and caring for them while you're away! Here's to the start of a wonderful furr-iendship!

About: Hi there! I’m an experience dog sitter. I’ve always had dogs growing up, I’ve worked for doggy daycares in the past now I mainly do referral dog sitting. I’m excited to meet your pets! I’m currently working but I love getting up early to go on walks and would to take your pet with me! I’m available most evenings as well as occasionally throughout the week. I do not do pet sitting in my own home but I am more than happy to watch your pets in their home where they’re most comfortable.

About: Hi! I’m your pets’ next favorite human—trust me, the rats told me. I’ve cared for everything from zoomy dogs and dramatic cats to sassy hamsters, curious rats, and the mysterious underwater world of axolotls. I’m basically a zookeeper, but with better snacks and bedtime stories. Whether it’s refilling the fish tank, playing hide-and-seek with a hamster, or deciphering the side-eye from your cat—I’ve got it covered. Your home will be respected, your animals adored, and your fish… probably mildly confused by how often I talk to them. 🐾 Caring for animals is something that fits into my life naturally—like morning coffee or talking to my pets as if they’re tiny roommates with strong opinions. I truly enjoy the routine and joy they bring, whether it’s early walks, midday playtime, or evening snuggles. Animals keep me grounded, active, and smiling (even if a hamster has just escaped for the third time). I build my day around their needs because their comfort and happiness come first—and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way When house sitting, I become their temporary live-in bestie. I keep things clean, cozy, and calm—like you never left. I’ll also handle things like mail, lights, and plant care, so your home feels lived in and looked after. Basically, I show up, love your pets like my own, and make sure everything stays just the way you like it.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and just got a new puppy, who I’m currently training! Caring for dogs comes naturally to me. I’m a newer sitter on here, but I’m not new to giving caring love to my own pets and bringing that same level of care to every pet I meet, canine or feline. I’m in school getting ready to go into my junior year in 2026 at USF, so my schedule is flexible! I’m available most days. Let me know what works for you! Due to my own dogs that I need to walk and feed before heading out, I’m not available for walks or drop-ins earlier than 8:00 AM. My oldest dog takes medication nightly and I’m currently house training my puppy, so I understand its importance. I follow routines, keep pets safe, and ensure they feel loved and comfortable while you’re away.

About: I had a shiba inu named Redbone that passed away in 2015 at the age of 12 and a husky/corgi mix that passed away at 15 in 2018. Lastly, I fostered and adopted a blind, 13 year old shiba inu, Kaya, and she passed in 2021. They meant the world to me. I am now available most of the time. I previously worked at a school. Now I take in elderly animals to give them a retirement home. I would follow all the directions provided to me by the pet parent and treat the pet with the caution and care that I would my own.

About: My name is Maria and I love dogs! We'd be happy to give your little guy or gal a home away from home. I have an extremely fit golden retriever that I love to walk daily in our park -1 mile away; its just as easy to walk another pup too. I run my own business, which aside from visiting clients, has me working from home the majority of time. I have been dog sitting for friends/family for years and thought, why not take this up a level? My pup, Porter is extremely friendly and loves other dogs. We'd be happy to host your dog as well. I'm accustomed to working with all sorts of dog-personalities and enjoy giving them love. Text with any questions.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life! I’ve lived with and cared for both small and large breeds, from playful Aussie Shepherds to gentle Markiesjes. I understand the importance of providing a safe, loving, and structured environment for dogs to feel comfortable and happy. I’m offering dog-sitting services because I truly enjoy spending time with dogs and want to gain even more hands-on experience before adopting my own. Whether your pup needs long walks, playtime, or just a cozy spot to relax, I’ll make sure they feel at home. I offer a calm, safe space, regular potty breaks, and lots of attention to ensure they feel loved while you’re away! Let’s set up a meet-and-greet—I’d love to get to know your pup! 🐾 I have a hybrid work schedule, which allows me to be home for a good portion of the day. This flexibility enables me to provide consistent care, supervision, and companionship for the dogs I sit. My schedule allows for regular walks, playtime, feeding, and potty breaks throughout the day, ensuring that each pup feels comfortable, safe, and well cared for while staying with me. I prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment for every dog in my care. In my home, I ensure that all spaces are pet-friendly, secure, and free of hazards, creating a stress-free setting for dogs to relax and feel at ease. I follow each pet’s routine and specific care instructions, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special accommodations. For dogs staying with me, I provide supervised playtime, regular potty breaks, and structured walks to keep them happy and engaged. I also respect each dog's personality—whether they love social interaction or need quiet time, I adapt to their needs to create a safe and loving experience. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I maintain their familiar routine, ensuring they feel comfortable in their own space. I communicate regularly with pet parents, providing updates and photos so they can feel at ease knowing their dog is in good hands. My goal is to create a trusting and reliable experience for both pets and their owners.

About: Hello! My name is Skylar Kerr and I am an Elementary Music teacher in Sarasota. I LOVE dogs, and being in a place where I can’t have a dog of my own yet has been hard. I am excited to get to love your dogs and play with them now too. Pet sitting is something I've done for many years and have grown up with 5 dogs of my own. I also have experience with dogs of all ages. From house sitting a 1 year old for two weeks, as well as helping to take care of my own 15 year old pup who I had to help go in and out to use the restroom and wake to make sure he eats. I love going for walks and know that some dogs need more patience than others, and some need more energy than others(LOTS MORE). I am excited and look forward to getting to play and bond with your puppies!! I am currently working full time so during the week I am available in the morning and afternoons to check in on your pups. And on the weekends have all the time to give them the love and activity they would need while you’re away! I live in a ground floor condo giving easy access for pups of all ages, as well as a large community area to walk around with lots of grass and open space. I can happily crate your dog if needed or give them the living room to lounge in while gone for short periods of time. And will happily continue whatever care your pets are used to in your own home!

About: I recently relocated to Sarasota, FL from Boston after many years of caring for pets back home. I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and have had my own pets for over 20 years, giving me a deep understanding of their needs and behaviors. I currently share my home with two cats and a dog, so I’m familiar with the daily joys and responsibilities of pet care. Over the years, I’ve also pet-sat for friends, neighbors, family, and colleagues, caring for their cats and dogs with the same love and attention I give my own. I specialize in thoughtful, loving care for pets of all ages and personalities—from playful puppies to senior dogs, and curious kittens to shy adult cats. I also volunteer as a cat socializer at a local animal shelter, helping nervous or anxious cats gain trust and confidence. ****While I’m new to Rover as a sitter, I’ve been a trusted pet caregiver outside the app for years and can provide references if needed. I’ve also used Rover myself as a pet parent, so I understand how important clear communication, respecting routines, and truly connecting with your pets are.**** Whether it’s a dog who loves long walks or a cat who needs a calm presence, I bring reliability, patience, and a deep love for animals to every booking. I have a very open and flexible schedule, which lets me give pets the time and attention they truly deserve. Working remotely throughout the day means I can easily accommodate pets who need extra companionship, custom routines, or even last-minute bookings. My dog and two cats keep me on a regular pet care rhythm—walks, meals, playtime, and plenty of interaction are already part of my daily life! I believe pets thrive when they can stay in their familiar environment, so I’m happy to care for them right in their home where they feel safest. I’m very respectful of each pet’s existing routine—whether that’s specific feeding times, walks, medication, or bedtime rituals- I do my best to keep everything consistent and stress-free. I offer both drop-in visits and overnight stays, depending on your pet’s needs. Whether it’s a quick check-in for a midday walk or staying overnight for full-time companionship, I make sure your pet feels loved, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I also keep pet parents updated with photos and messages, so you can feel connected and confident every step of the way!!
