“This was the first time we had the pleasure of working with Monika and family and all I can say is we would 100% use them again! They were so kind and caring and our golden retriever, Willow, had an amazing time there. I got plenty of pictures of her having fun with their other dogs, as well as snuggling with the humans in the household. They were amazing to work with and flexible when our travel plans changed slightly. I would highly recommend booking with this family!”

“Koda and Mizu seem to be very happy spending the weekend with Katie and her loving family! My wife and I had a stress free weekend away knowing our fur kiddos where in great hands and cared for. Recommend their services!!”

“Katie and her two pups were the best hosts! Whenever Katie send over pictures, I could tell my dog was comfortable and happy! Would highly recommend booking with her”

“Luke and Rachel were wonderful! They did house sitting for us and took care of our pup. They were so kind and attentive with our doggie and left the house spotless. Thanks so much!”

“Highly recommended! Julie was very responsive in all communications and after reading prior reviews I was quickly comfortable with leaving my two dogs with her. This was a last minute booking and Julie took it upon herself to reschedule all of her appointments so she could spend as much time with her guests as possible. I received photos and messages the first couple days to assure me that all was well and then left to enjoy my vacation. A perfect first time Rover experience!”

“We love having Michelle watch our dog while we are out of town because she has wonderful (and prompt) communication and my dog is very comfortable around her. She takes him for walks and helps him feel at home.”

“First time with Dynette. She was very concerned with Bella's needs especially when she had diarrhea. Good communication daily and pictures sent relieved some of our anxiety. Would request Dynette again.”

“Our 2 dachshunds loved spending the weekend with Kayla! They are exhausted from having so much fun! GREAT communication, lots of photos and videos and they have the cutest pup who welcomed us with excitement to meet new friends! We’ll be using them every time we are in town!”

“Jenell was AMAZING!! She took such great care of my Daisy and my Vinnie. She had great communication and even went the extra mile for me when my world was crazy. She was caring and very wonderful to work with. I will be definitely asking her to care for my fur babies again!”

“This was our first time using Rover. We hit the jackpot picking Nicole & Derek. Of course we were worried about leaving Odie and then with the rain the first night, I was really concerned about how Odie was doing. I received pictures and updates plus was told Odie got to sleep with one of their boys! When I picked Odie up, he was happy and really tired from having a fun weekend. Nothing like his reaction or smell when we have had to put him in a kennel. Thank you, thank you, thank you Nicole, Derek and your boys! I hope they will be available when we next need to leave Odie in someone else’s care.”

“Shana took such good care of our dogs while we were gone! She was so flexible to work with our schedule by picking up our dogs and allowing us to pick them up early! She sent regular updates and we could tell our dogs were really well loved while we were gone! We would definitely use her again!”

About: I have taken care of all kinds of farm animals incliuding ,cats and especially dogs. I raised miniture schnauzers in my home for 5 years . My family had so much fun with puppies. I now have an adorable doodle ,Tip who is 5 years old and the most gentle dog I have ever owned. I live on a hobby farm now and I have five chickens and 2 guinneas. Tip really enjoys the chickens and they are not afraid of her at all. I do not have a fenced yard so I would not let a dog out with out being on a leash. We will have frequent playtime and walks around our property. I really like dogs and having dogs in my home. Tip lives in our house and sleeps in our bedroom. I am a retired nurse so I can administer any medication needed. Our vet is just five blocks away if any care is needed. I would only be able to care for dogs as my son is very allergic to cats. I am retired and spend mos.t of my time at home. I have social engagements like church and grandchildren's basketball games on Saturdays. I enjoy our farm and love gardening. Tip is always out with me when I care for the chickens and if I am gardening Tip is very gentle with other dogs. She will play if they want to play but will leave them alone if they are not in the mood to play. Tip goes outside and does not go to the road which runs in front of our house she wears a halo collar and responds very well to her boundries. I will play and walk with a visiting dog but always keep them on a leash for safety.
“Nikki accomodated my doggos last minute. Nikki was prompt and professional with checking in and out. The doggos enjoyed their stay. I'll use her again in the future! )”

“Dave was amazing! We left our 2 dogs with him over thanksgiving. He gave daily updates with photos and answered any questions super quickly. We have one dog selective dog and he made sure to make him comfortable and not have to interact with any. Our other dog is a flight risk and he made sure she never got out of his yard. I think the dogs enjoyed their vacation as much as we did. We will for sure use Dave anytime he has availability!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
