“Brianna was wonderful. She was amazing to Nova and treated her like her own. When we had problems at the airport coming back, Brianna was easy to talk to and made delay home less stressful since we knew our baby was in the best hands.”

“James and Lauryn were clearly affectionate toward Lila and immediately brought her into their family. She was well taken care for and tended to as if she were their own.”

“McKayla and Dillon are Star Sitters for a reason: They really care for their guests. They saw our Ozzy did not like their wood floors, so they provided rugs and towels for him to move around on! They are attentive not only to the apparent needs of their house guests, but also make them feel at home by keeping close to home schedules, providing lots of active time/walks, and include important, quiet, "family" time. They are great "pack" leaders! We couldn't be more pleased with the love and care Ozzy received, as well as the accommodations they made to help us with our travel plans. Thanks!”

“Talishia was amazing. Not only was she super accommodating and flexible as this was a less than 24 hour need/ask to need to, she was extremely kind, warm and wonderful with our dog. It was evident she cared very much about our dog and was be determined she would have a good experience and she did! We will definitely use Talishia again!”

“Lisa kept us updated with pictures and messages, and was a wonderful host to our dog. As new dog owners, it was reassuring to have someone who has experience with dogs and a welcoming home.”

“Katie is great with our two dogs and very accommodating to our schedule when needed. This was our second time with her and we plan to use her again if possible. Thanks from Phoebe and Dexter for a great weekend!”

“I was very comfortable with Danielle and Chad. My dogs were well cared for, I didn't have a moment of concern. It was the first time leaving Lola, they were patient with her although she was rather skittish. I highly recommend them if you need care for your dogs.”

“I love how Julie spends time with my dogs and has a beautiful fenced in yard. I feel that she really cares about animals as she has two beautiful large dogs of her own. I will be back.”

“Kathryn was extremely nice and easy to work with. She responded promptly and was very accommodating. Loki had a great time with her, and we would definitely feel comfortable leaving him with her again.”

“Ali was great and communicated to us throughout our trip perfectly. She was very flexible, and Piper seemed to have a great time with her and her family! Would love to go back there again next time”

“Crosby came home exhausted, which was needed as we were tired from our trip! He had plenty of outside time and play time. Really appreciated that Jessica has a fence! Will book with her again!”

“First time with Dynette. She was very concerned with Bella's needs especially when she had diarrhea. Good communication daily and pictures sent relieved some of our anxiety. Would request Dynette again.”

“Katie provided care for my two elderly dogs; with one requiring a twice per day insulin injection. Katie was wonderful and she sent daily pictures to show how great the they were doing. Her children showered the dogs with attention and snuggling. She was very flexible when I needed to unexpectedly extend their stay by and additional day. I would highly recommend her.”
“There aren't enough words to describe how awesome Rebekah and her family were to our little pup while we were on vacation. From the daily updates, to making her feel like a part of their family, they truly were amazing every step of the way. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing boarding”

About: Hi, I’m Autumn! While I’m new to Rover, I am not new to dogs! Animals have been a huge part of my entire life! At 16, I started working as a kennel assistant at a veterinary clinic. I went on to receive my degree in veterinary technology and dedicated almost 10 years as a tech. Now, I’d love to continue caring for pets beyond the clinic! My husband and I own a 1/2 acre of acre of land in Forest Lake. We have one dog, a senior Shih Tzu named Nala! For the safety of all dogs, I do require they are comfortable being kenneled during times I am away or sleeping. Otherwise, they are free to follow me around the house or even nap on the couch! Caring for animals is my top priority, so I have the flexibility to be home with all pets for the majority of the day, every day! In our home, pets are family! We offer a large lawn to allow your pets plenty of room to exercise. Plenty of snuggles and playtime will be offered along with daily walks as requested/weather permitting. Crating is utilized for safety when pets are not directly supervised (home alone or bedtime). Any other needs? No problem! I know each and every pet has their own unique preferences and needs.
“Jenell was great with our dog Max! He had a great time and was well taken care of! Janell kept us up to date with pictures, updates and was extremely responsive. We will definitely have Janell watch Max again.”

“Luke and Rachel are the best! Harry always has a wonderful time at their house. They are caring and so sweet and attentive to our pup. Thank you Luke and Rachel!”

“Elizabeth and Erik did a wonderful job. They sent daily updates and were quick to respond to all of my messages. I will be using their service again in the future!”

“Would absolutely recommend Kaitlyn! She took fantastic care of our Bernedoodle while we were away, and we loved the daily updates. Booking, communication and pickup and drop off were super easy. Thanks for taking great care of our pup!”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
