“Marie and Mark took great care of my extremely attention needing Basset hound. Sent lots of updates and treated her so kind. Would highly recommend them to watch your pets.”

“Alex was great with my nervous guy. We’ve boarded him in the past and he always seemed to be anxious and have trouble eating. He settled in quickly with Alex. I think being in a home environment was more like his everyday routine.”

“The care and understanding of our dog and helping her acclimate to their home was outstanding in every way. Was given time to be a part of the family and enjoy being part of their 'pack'. The messages and images helped us know about how she was doing during her stay. She would go back in an instant.”

“If we could give more than 5 stars we would. We just had our black lab Jake stay with Tammy and John for a week and we could not have loved his care more. We received daily pictures, videos and updates showing him having the time of his life. He is high energy and they wore this guy out 😂 They exceeded our expectations and he was extremely spoiled and loved. 1000% recommend and we will be bringing Jake back. Thank you Tammy and John so so much!!”

“Anna was wonderful! My dogs were happy to stay and play when I dropped them off. I received daily pictures, and they were happy when I picked them up. We will be using her again soon.”

“Patty and Patrick gave our dog so much love during her stay. They are focused on great care and have wonderful communication. They are great pet sitters and I’d highly recommend them to others!”

“Alisha and Cameron took such great care of our dog Bear! He was so happy at their house. They provided lots of updates and pictures. I know he got lots of love. They have been our favorite Rover family to date!”

“Brody's first weekend with Brianna and her family was wonderful! We got lots of pics and videos (which we shared with some guests at our son's wedding - a big hit when people asked where Brody was staying!). Brody especially loves Brianna's daughter and follows her everywhere. We are so thankful we chose this family and will be using again!”

“Monika and her pet family were wonderful with my two dogs. My dogs got along well with her pets and loved the large, fenced back yard. My older dog is deaf and has some GI issues requiring medication which Monika took care of for me. The pictures she sent on a daily basis showed how happy they were and cared for. They stayed for a week and loved every minute with her family.”

“Theo has so much fun with Karen and her family! It is so wonderful to have such a trustworthy, kind, and responsive person to watch my pup when I have to go out of town. 10/10 recommend booking with Karen!”

“Jenell was great with our dog Max! He had a great time and was well taken care of! Janell kept us up to date with pictures, updates and was extremely responsive. We will definitely have Janell watch Max again.”

“Lily was a great sitter for our dog! She was excellent about communicating in advance of the stay and was diligent about sending daily updates! Our dog loved their stay and got lots of playtime in with their two pups. She was also great about handling some anxiety at bedtime for the first couple nights. I could tell she is experienced with dogs and cared about marking our dog’s stay as comfortable as possible. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again.”

“Great sitter! Highly recommend Nicole and Josh. Frank and Leo were very happy their entire stay and I could tell they loved it there. I got so many cute photos and the communication was wonderful and always quick. The boys are looking forward to their next stay!”

“Our dog had a great time with Luke and Rachel. This was our first time leaving him with anyone but family and they made us feel he was safe and well cared for. We loved seeing photos of what he was up to and hearing that he had a good weekend. We are excited to have him stay again in the future!!”

“Michael, is fantastic. He was very communicative and even offered to grab packages while we were out of town. He sent photos from all visits and was diligent about cleaning the cat boys box and ensuring that they were fed separately due to dietary requirements. We will absolutely be working with him again A+. Thank you for an awesome experience!”

About: I have owned cats my whole life. I grew up in a home with many different types of cat personalities and needs. My experience as a Veterinary Technician has prepared me to understand cats on a deep level. I know their body language, care, wellbeing, and cats particular preferences. I have experience in giving medications to cats in all forms.

“Katlyn took such good care of my two cats! She sent photos and left updates on how they were during drop in visits. I would definitely recommend her and plan on using her as a pet sitter again 😊”

About: My family and I have owned two cats, both with completely different personalities. My neighbors have had kittens that us kids would help take care of. My Grandfather owns two of these cats that us kids had helped take care of. I have lots of experience with cats as I have always been living with one, I make sure cat litter is clean, and their water is cleaner.
About: I grew up on a farm and we always had at least two cats and a pup running around, as well as chickens, cows, bearded dragons, bunnies, and horses. I would always help take care of all the animals. I currently work nights and would love to fill my days with some friendly furry faces and some more walks to enjoy the fresh air. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of room for pups to play. I also love going for long walks or giving all the snuggles inside.

“Lauren was amazing. Her communication and immediate response times were hugely appreciated. I felt very comfortable having her in my home and trusting our dog with her care. We will definitely book with her again!”

“Absolutely incredible sitter! Katelyn took care of my dog, Lola, for two weeks, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Lola adored her from the very beginning, and it was clear every single day that she was in loving, capable hands. Katelyn went above and beyond—not only did she keep Lola safe, happy, and well-loved, she even taught her a couple of new tricks while I was away! She sent updates, was attentive to everything Lola needed, and treated her with the same affection and patience that I would. Coming home to a relaxed, confident dog who clearly had the best time was such a gift. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, kind, reliable, and genuinely great with animals, I can’t recommend Katelyn enough. She’s fantastic.”

About: I have been around cats for a long time, I can administer any medications (which can be tough), clean litter boxes, feed, brush & cuddle! I love cats like I love all other animals & I’d be happy to care for yours while you are away.

“Haley H. did an absolutely MARVELOUS job, looking after our 3 cats. My husband, and I, have NEVER left them, for such a long period of time. We were going away for a month. I was VERY nervous about leaving them at home with someone, the cats, did not know. They were safe. They were healthy. They were happy. I expected weight loss. I expected negative behaviors. I expected "unhappy" critters. NONE of that occurred. Haley kept us informed, as to how the cats were doing. She asked questions, to help her better, tend to them. WE are VERY SATISFIED, with Haley's care. I think the cats are also.”

“Denise took all my worries and concerns and booted them right out the door. She took extra special care of our kitties and sent wonderful updates with pics and text. We have a diabetic kitty so special things needed to be done and Denise took it all on with confidence. She kept things tidy and the kitties absolutely loved her, even the shy one! Will 100% re-book for our next trip and will recommend to all! Thanks again for all you do, Denise!”

About: Please note*** I cannot board pets where I live, all pet sitting (days and overnight) is done at your residence. Hello! I've had dogs and cats all my life. I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I lost my 14 yr. old lab to old age 2 years ago, and just recently got a new yellow lab puppy here in March. I really missed having a travel companion! I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a 3 yr. old yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! Currently I am mobile in the Western AZ / Southeastern CA area. I will come to you. I can stay as long as you need for your pet care - up to 2+ weeks if needed. I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info need to all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!
About: My husband and I have both grown up with pets and have continued caring for animals throughout our adult lives. We have extensive hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments, and we currently care for a variety of animals in our home, including fish, a bearded dragon, a leopard gecko, a hamster, and hermit crabs. This has given us a strong understanding of different care needs, routines, and behaviors across species. We’re attentive, patient, and comfortable following specific instructions — whether that’s maintaining feeding schedules, administering basic care, or helping pets feel calm and safe in a new environment. We truly treat every pet as if they were our own. Because we work from home, pet care naturally fits into our daily routine. We’re around throughout the day to provide attention, playtime, feeding, and companionship, not just quick check-ins. Our flexible schedule allows us to adapt to each pet’s needs, whether that means extra cuddles, medication reminders, or keeping a consistent routine so pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. We care for pets as if they are part of our own family. In our home, pets have plenty of space to relax and play safely. We live on 10 acres, which allows for supervised outdoor time, walks, and fresh air, and we also have a large outdoor kennel available when appropriate for a pet’s comfort and safety. When caring for pets in a client’s home, we focus on consistency, attentiveness, and respect for each pet’s routine. We follow feeding schedules, exercise needs, medication instructions, and any special requests closely. We make it a priority to be responsive, communicative, and attentive so both pets and owners feel comfortable and confident while they’re away.
About: I have many years of experience with all types of animals, especially dogs & cats! I’ve worked at a dog boarding & daycare & can handle many unique situations. I’m familiar with medications, nail trims, bathing, walking, brushing, & of course cuddles!! I truly believe all animals deserve all the love in the world. I will treat your pet like they are my own— making sure they are safe, happy, & loved! ❤️ I have a part time job and have plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. I can accommodate your schedule and fit it into my schedule! I am calm & patient with animals & let them go at their own pace with feeling comfortable. Some pets are quicker than others to feel comfortable & that is okay! I love all animals regardless of their behaviors & will work with them to make them feel loved & have fun while their parents are away.
About: I’ve had pets in my life since I was a child. When married and had kids, we’ve always had dogs and have cared for our dogs in every aspect, walking, bathing, grooming, vet care, etc. Currently we don’t have a pet, but our house is a perfect set up to take care of yours. Currently we are retired. We would have plenty of time to go for walks, play and relax. Our dogs in the past have used our very convenient doggy door into a fenced area for potty breaks. Your dog will be treated like one of our own, getting lots of love and attention during the day and can sleep overnight in a doggy bed or crate whichever is preferred.

About: I have loved and cared for animals my whole life and get a deep sense of joy when I am able to care for them! I have been a Certified Veterinary Technician for 15 years which has provided me experience with all kinds of animals with all types of personalities. I have an animal medical background which helps me provide safe and sound handling techniques and animal care skills. I have owned an array of animals: dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ducks, rabbits, rats, and mice. I also have cared for other farm animals such as cows, goats, and sheep. I have fostered puppies through Ruff Start Rescue for 7 years which has given me extensive experience with potty training and leash training. I work at a school which gives me summers and weekends available for animal care. I am often available in the evenings year-round also. I have a quiet neighborhood and a large yard. My dog is young, playful, and very friendly. I am familiar and comfortable with crate training and dog-safe practices within the home. I am aware of pet toxicity and safety concerns with pets.
About: I just recently had to put my 14.5 year old Yorkie Poo to rest. I miss having a buddy at my house but not ready to take on another animal full time yet. I supported my dog through pancreatitis, congestive heart failure and other health considerations. We had him since he was a couple months old until his golden years. I have watched family members, friends, Rover friend's and neighbor’s dogs and always treat them like my own! Additionally, I have stopped into cat owner's homes to check in on them, clean the litter box, feed/water them, and spend time with them! I currently work from home as a Master’s level Social Worker and have very flexible hours. My children are very comfortable and respectful to animals. My children are at school during the day and will be home during the summer months. The pet would be with me with most of the time, outside of errands, etc. *Please reach out in a message regarding availability! My availability changes and I would like to give you the most up to date information! Thank you!* I currently do not have any animals in the house. I can take the dog on walks and out to use the restroom throughout the day as I do not have a fenced in yard. I have a large yard if your dog can be trusted off leash with supervision. I love to have dogs snuggle, so they are just like any other family member, allowed on the furniture. I will be home to either schedule feed, have them graze eat or kennel as requested.
“Shelly was awesome. She was flexible when I had to change my dates. There was plenty of open space and other animals for Bear to play with. Shelly also was helping with our potty training since Bear is only three months old. I will use her again.”

About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have had both cats and dogs since I was a little girl. Caring for pets has always been a huge part of my life, and I truly love being around animals of all kinds. I currently have three dogs of my own, so I’m very familiar with daily care, walks, feeding routines, playtime, and giving pets the attention and love they deserve. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I’ll care for them like they’re part of my own family. I have a flexible and reliable schedule that allows me to provide consistent pet care throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I am able to accommodate regular visits, overnight care, and extended stays when needed. I understand that pets thrive on routine, so I prioritize dependability and clear communication to ensure each pet receives steady, attentive care while you’re away. I provide calm, attentive care in either my client’s home or my own, always prioritizing each pet’s comfort, safety, and routine. I create a low-stress environment where pets can feel secure and relaxed, following their normal feeding schedules, exercise needs, litter box or habitat care, and any specific instructions provided. I take time to build trust at the pet’s pace, especially with shy or anxious animals, and I pay close attention to their behavior and wellbeing. Communication with pet owners is consistent so you always feel informed and confident your pet is being well cared for.
“Anna is fabulous! We have a new puppy and she has watched him all week for us while we are at work! She makes sure he gets playtime with her dogs and naps in too! She sends lots of updates and pictures throughout the day, which we love! She has done great with helping his potty training and keeping us informed with his rover card each day!”

“She responded immediately to our last-minute request to take our dog for the day. She let us know what to expect and how she would feed Aggie. She was willing to keep her even longer than I requested, since we weren't sure when we would be back. She even offered to walk her out to the car under an umbrella during the storm! Aggie came back to us happy and tired out. I'm so glad we booked with Elizabeth W!”

“Cate and Tim are awesome! They agreed to a quick meet and greet the day before watching Riley so when I dropped her off for the day she was right at home at their place. Riley made herself right at home and had lots of fun with the end result being a happy worn out pup. I got updatesnduring the day and great pictures of Riley that I could see that she was having a good time. I would definitely habe Cate and Tim watch Riley whenever I'm back in the area and need a sitter!”

About: Since I was 6 years old my family had dogs and cats as pets. All the dogs we had we got as puppies so I handled the potty training, taught tricks and the main obedience training like sit and stay. I've watched family and friends dogs which also included days/nights at a time like when they were out of town working. I have watched and been with tiny dogs to giant dogs. I'm a stay at home mom at the moment so I have plenty of time to care for your pet pretty much at anytime day or night. I have a fenced yard so easy to let in and out as needed, big area take out or let out to play. My house is pretty open with area for them to roam or find good spot to just relax. I have never crated any of my animals but if needed or wanted obviously I could do that. If you have a special diet for your dog I would follow that for you also. My kids and I also love to go on walks and would love your dog to join. I do have three very young kids so your dog must get along with children. My kids love animals, they were very sad after losing our last dog so they'd be very excited to play with others. I am home daily with my kids, I only leave when I need to go to the store or take kids to an activity. So they won't be left alone for long if at all while in my care. I have a fenced in yard for a safe place to run and play while outside. My house is decent size so plenty of area and all open to them so they feel at home. You can bring whatever you think your animal needs to be comfortable.
“Orlando and Nicki were very responsive and accommodating. They were welcoming and hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with them and they took very good care of our pet.”

About: I have always had pets as a part of my life, dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, and I raised rabbits for 4H for a number of years. I also pet sit for family and friends when they need help. I have a local park with trials for walking as well as a nice sidewalk for walking. There is also a local dog park about 5mins from my house I can bring your dog to. I work super part time and my husband works from home. So someone is always home to keep an eye on your pet and love them. I have 3 kids that I may run to and from school or local things from time to time. I have an underground fenced yard that I can use if you'd like to use. I'm happy to limit the area your dog has access to or allow them to roam the house. I'm comfortable with both. If care is being done at your home I like to know of any areas you've had issues on durning walls (with other pets or people).
“Great first day with a wonderful family! This was our daycare practice day before his weekend stay next week. Brody was very happy and well cared for. We received wonderful pics and are very pleased with how it went.”

About: I’ve fostered dogs since I was in fourth grade, sometimes multiple at a time. Varying in size and age, sometimes cats as well as dogs. I am currently a junior at UWL and work an on campus job. I am going to school full time and my job does block off some of my time but I am willing to work my schedule around the fur babies. I live in the dorms so I will not be able to take the dogs into my home but I can easily take care of them in your home and easily crate if necessary. They will be provided with plenty of love and attention.
“What a wonderful couple. They “get” dogs. Our one has separation anxiety and the other is borderline. They seemed so chill here and happy. We even got a happy photo of them. We’ll definitely be back. This is so much better than them being cooped up in a kennel at a boarder. Thank you, see you next time.”

“We have used Julie many times and are always hugely satisfied with her care of Echo. Echo got great play time with other dogs and good exercise out on the lake with Julie. Thanks for taking the time, Julie, to make Echo's day away fun and tiring! We were happy to get a tired doggy back home.”

“Michael made sure to check in with us with pictures and let us know how each walk went. He was super sweet with our big pup. We have a pitbull who has a tendency to pull on the leash sometimes and if he can handle that he can probably handle your dog great as well! I could tell he really cared. I'd trust him to help us again if needed in the future!”

About: I’ve grown up with pets all 22 years of my life, and caring for animals has always been a big part of who I am. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, where I took specialized courses in dog training and behavior, as well as animal nutrition. On top of that, I gained hands-on experience working as a kennel technician at a local veterinary clinic, caring for pets of all ages—including seniors and those with special medical needs. In my free time, I love walking and spending time with my own dogs, so I truly understand how important daily exercise, consistency, and loving companionship are for a happy, healthy pet. Whether your furry friend needs basic care, training support, or just someone to give them attention and love while you're away, I'm here to help! I recently graduated with a degree in Animal Science and am currently exploring job opportunities in the animal care field. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine to make sure they get the consistent care they need! Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. At my home, I take dogs out on leashes for all potty breaks and walks to ensure they stay safe and secure at all times. My own dog is crate trained, so I’m familiar with using crates as a safe space when needed. I also take time to slowly introduce pets to new environments or routines to help them feel comfortable and relaxed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all routines exactly as instructed—whether that’s feeding schedules, medication, or favorite walking routes. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always aim to create a calm, loving, and trustworthy environment.

About: One of my favorite things about working with dogs is that every dog has a different personality. I take the time to learn what makes each one comfortable and happy, and I adjust my care to fit their needs. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, playful, or laid-back, I’ll make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, and I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable care throughout the week. I enjoy staying active, so dog walks and visits are something I genuinely look forward to. I make it a priority to be dependable, communicate with owners, and ensure pets receive the attention and care they need. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow the owner’s instructions and routine to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I take the time to build trust with each pet, pay attention to their individual needs, and provide plenty of care, attention, and updates while you’re away.
About: I had my first dog when I was 7 years old, I was helping my dad to train my dog. I was responsible for his walks, food, etc. After my first dog experience, I’ve decided that animals make me so happy. I had 8-10 senior/young dogs that I took care of. I also had four cats that I was taking care of. Some birds, fish, turtles, horses… I genuinely love spending time with animals I am currently in college full time, we can always schedule a week ahead to make sure if I have enough time for your dog! Unfortunately I won’t be able to take your dog to my house for nights but I can take them during the day. I have fenced backyard that your animals can have their own space and have fun!
About: My partner and I tag team animal sitting which makes a great pair for the price of one! We both have had animals since we were born and have grown up taking care of dogs and cats alike. My partner and I are college students who work together on Rover so that our schedules allow someone to be with your animals consistently! We also own 2 dogs who we adore :) We will care for your pets in their home by providing personalized attention and activities, including visits to local dog parks for exercise and socialization.
About: Growing up on a farm, I developed a deep passion for animal care that led me to participate in 4-H, county fairs, and FFA during high school. After graduation, I spent over three years working at a veterinary clinic’s boarding facility, where I gained hands-on experience in administering medications, behavior training, and providing personalized care. I was promoted to supervisor and emergency care assistant, further strengthening my leadership and critical care skills. I believe every pet deserves individualized attention, whether it’s ensuring playtime, administering medication, or offering extra TLC. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing environment where pets feel happy and owners can trust their pets are in expert hands. Since joining Rover in August 2022, I’ve had the privilege of caring for many pets and building lasting relationships with their owners. With a background in veterinary care, boarding, and behavioral training, I bring a wealth of experience to ensure your pets receive the highest standard of care. I offer a range of services, including feeding, walks, playtime, medication administration, and basic behavioral training (upon request). I’m available for daytime care, drop-ins, and occasional overnight stays on weekdays and select weekends. My flexible schedule allows me to tailor my services to meet your pet’s unique needs. Having worked in the emergency department of a reputable veterinary clinic, I’ve developed an unwavering commitment to animal welfare, approaching each pet’s care with vigilance and attention to detail.
About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my entire life and regularly help neighbors, friends, and family with pet sitting and drop-in visits. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, administering basic medications, and caring for both energetic puppies and senior pets. I treat every animal like my own and prioritize safety, consistency, and clear communication with owners. I work full-time but maintain a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate daily drop-ins, walks, and overnight care when needed. Pet care is built into my routine — caring for my own animals is the first and last part of every day. I prioritize reliability and consistency, and I communicate clearly about availability. My home has a fully fenced yard with plenty of secure space for supervised outdoor play. Inside, I have hardwood floors and an open layout with room for pets to relax comfortably. I have two crates available if needed and maintain structured areas for feeding, water, rest, and play. Safety, supervision, and routine are my top priorities, and I ensure pets are monitored and comfortable at all times.

“We have used Michelle multiple times for our golden Toby and every time has been great. Michelle is very easy to work with and asks questions about his schedule. She sends updates and pictures which we love seeing. Toby always has fun at her house and is so excited to see her when we come back. I highly recommend Michelle!!”

“Lisa kept us updated with pictures and messages, and was a wonderful host to our dog. As new dog owners, it was reassuring to have someone who has experience with dogs and a welcoming home.”

“Kayla was great! Very easy to work with and excellent communication from start to finish. We did a short meet & greet before boarding our dog with her as this was our first time boarding him in someone else’s home, and so that he could meet her pup. I would recommend her to anyone, and hope to board with her in the future!”
