He’s 6 years old, about 16 lbs, and is a very friendly little guy who loves being around other dogs. I live in a clean, tidy apartment right off the Centennial Trail, so we love getting outside for walks and fresh air. Whether your dog loves adventures, playtime, or just relaxing and cuddling, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved like they’re part of the family while you’re away. Vanessa went above and beyond to help our younger pup adjust to the loss of his big brother (who passed only a few days before our trip) while we were away. Before leaving the house, she gave him a frozen treat ball, and walked him twice daily. She even walked him with a friendly, neighbor dog so he’d have some fur companion time. Additionally, she surprised us by washing her bedding and towels! We truly appreciate Vanessa’s energy and efforts, especially given our circumstances.
We had Emma house-sit and care for our 9 year-old Duck Tolling Retriever, Tillie, for nearly 3 weeks, while we were overseas. This was the first time we hired her and were very pleased. I left detailed notes/instructions for Emma re feeding, potty and walking schedules, which she carefully followed. As requested, she happily let Tillie sleep on our bed with her and provided occasional email updates and photos. Emma collected and organized all of our mail, newspapers and packages. Also, as instructed, she listened to messages left on our phone and wrote down the date, person calling, phone number and subject matter for us to easily review upon returning. We arrived home to a very clean home. Without asking, Emma had cleaned the guest bathroom she had used, washed the sheets and put them back on our bed, washed towels, vacuumed all carpets and cleaned the kitchen counters and any dishes used. I highly recommend Emma and will definitely have her house and dog-sit for us in the future. She is friendly, trustworthy, and dependable. Perhaps, most important, she bonded well with Tillie and gave her lots of love and walks. My condo neighbors who interacted with Emma were very complimentary, too
Macie was so amazing! We had an incident with our house keys and she was so patient while we called a locksmith. She took pictures of our dogs in the yard while she was there and kept us apprised of any issues she had with them. Our dogs took to her very easily and we will have her back for our next trip. Allison (Rae) took incredible care of both my dog and my sister’s pup over the Fourth of July weekend! She walked and played with them a lot and made them both comfortable despite their separation anxieties. She left the house spotless and even ran a load of dishes! Jenny was great with my 2 dogs! She was always on time, great communication, and was very good with both my puppy and my more difficult adult male dog who is reactive on leash and can be mouthy. I highly recommend Eowyn!! Eowyn took care of our anxious dog while we traveled. We came home to a calm and content dog, a clean home, and well watered plants! We received daily photo updates from Eowyn and when we saw our dog interact with Eowyn, Eowyn’s skill in understanding dogs and connecting with them was obvious. Our Family had a fairly long trip and did not want to put our dogs in a different location. Looking on Rover we found Phillip who responded right away. Our trip was through Thanksgiving and that was not a problem for him. He came over to meet our two dogs and they took to him right away. Received updates from him even though for us maybe a little more communication would have been nice but the over-all experience was really good. When we returned back from our trip and he dropped off our house key the dogs were so very excited to see him. Normally when we are gone and come back our dogs tend to not be themselves for a while.
