She finally settles down, but takes some firm action at first to get her to listen. I currently have a Golden Retriever and a German Shepherd mix, so I’m very comfortable with large breeds and high-energy dogs. I’ve also administered medications to my own dogs when needed and always follow care instructions carefully. Beyond caring for my own pets, I’ve looked after many friends’ and family members’ dogs while they were away. I also rescued one of my own dogs, which gave me experience helping an adult dog adjust to a new home, build confidence, and replace unwanted habits with positive behaviors through patience and consistent training. My schedule is very flexible, and I’m available most days for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. If I’m providing house sitting, I just ask for about two hours each day to care for and exercise my own dogs while my husband is at work. Outside of that, I’m committed to following your pet’s normal routine and making sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship.
