A homebody who loves animals!
I grew up helping raise our family dogs and have always been around animals. During COVID, I also house-sat and dog-sat for long periods while pet parents traveled around the world, so I’m very comfortable providing reliable, consistent care. I recently adopted a dog of my own this year, and it’s been such a great experience. As I don't have a private yard, I do have access to a SniffSpot subscription where I can take pups to safely run and get all their energy out! I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all energy levels—from relaxed pups who just want a calm walk to high-energy dogs who need plenty of exercise and playtime. I enjoy taking dogs out for walks, play sessions, and giving them the attention they deserve. I also have a dog friendly dog, named Axel; who absolutely loves having a buddy to run and play with. If your dog enjoys socializing, they’ll likely have a great time getting their energy out together in a safe and supervised environment. I’ve also fostered dogs/cats and have experience connecting with other pet owners and trainers, so I’m familiar with different personalities, needs, and routines. My goal is always to make sure every dog feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. As for my cat experience; I’m also happy to care for cats! I LOVE CATS! I currently have cats of my own, so I understand their routines, personalities, and how important it is to keep them comfortable in their environment. Whether your cat prefers quiet companionship, playtime, or just someone to make sure their food, water, and litter box are taken care of, I’ll make sure they feel safe and looked after while you’re gone.

For house sitting: I do require that my two dogs come with me for the duration of the stay. As long as you’re comfortable with me bringing my dogs into your home, I’d be happy to consider house sitting for your babies! In your home: I stick closely to your instructions—feeding schedules, walks, medications, crate training, cleaning litter boxes, anything needed. I maintain your pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable and relaxed. I love sending regular photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing. During the stay, my dogs and your dogs can all share the same space together as long as everyone is comfortable and gets along well. However, for bedtime and feeding time, my dogs will be separated and placed in their own respective crates. I will bring my dogs’ crates with me, so you do not need to provide anything for them. Pets stay in a safe, relaxed environment where they get consistent attention, enrichment, and supervised indoor play. I provide frequent potty breaks, structured feeding times, cozy rest areas, and fun outings like SniffSpot.

Jessalyn did drop in visits for our puppy the very first week we had him due to our busy work schedules. She was an excellent communicator, professional, and went above and beyond for his care. She sent us pictures, videos, and let us know basic training she was working on with him. She really put our minds at ease leaving our new baby at home for the first time. Would highly recommend her!
We had a wonderful experience with Jessalyn and would book with her again. She took amazing care of our dog, kept us updated, sent lots of pictures and videos which was so fun to see, and went above and beyond to make sure he was happy and comfortable. She even gave him baths before we got home and vacuumed everything up afterward, which was such a thoughtful touch and so appreciated. It was clear she genuinely cared for him which is so nice to see when we are out on a trip. We're so grateful for the excellent care and attention she provided. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable dog sitter!

We had a great experience with Jessalyn. From the start, communication was prompt, friendly, and professional. She took the time to learn about our dogs' routines and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us great peace of mind. It was clear that our dogs were happy, well cared for, and getting plenty of attention and exercise. I'm pretty certain our dogs got more attention and had more fun than if we were here those days. She watched our dogs over the 4th of July weekend which is always extremely tough on our dogs as they both get very scared by fireworks. We could tell by the pictures that our dogs felt safe with her. When we returned, our dogs were relaxed and content. It felt like we hadn't even been gone. She even washed and folded the bathroom and kitchen towels before she left. We truly appreciate the care and kindness Jessalyn showed, and we're looking forward to booking with her again.
I can't recommend Jessalyn enough! She was so amazing with my three kitties, especially my boy kitty who can be more shy and my older cat who needs a special diet for her kidney disease. My babies were very well cared for while I was gone!!
Jessalyn did a great job dropping in on our cat while we were on vacation! She sent lots of pictures, played with him with toys so he didn’t get super bored, and took very good care of him with food, water, and cat treats. His litter box was clean and he had been brushed as requested. We will definitely use her again 😊👍

Schedule
Since I work from home as a freelance 3D artist, I’m home for long stretches during the day and only leave for short errands. I’m also fully available during the holidays, and my work won’t interfere with caring for your pets.

- Please let me know about your pet’s normal routine, personality, feeding schedule, potty/walk schedule, medications, allergies, fears, triggers, and any behavioral quirks I should be aware of. I also need to know how they are around other dogs, especially since my two dogs will accompany me for house sitting. Please be completely transparent about any history of reactivity, resource guarding, etc… I’d also love to know their favorite treats, toys, activities, sleeping routine, and anything else that helps me bond with them while you’re away!
