We had Emma house-sit and care for our 9 year-old Duck Tolling Retriever, Tillie, for nearly 3 weeks, while we were overseas. This was the first time we hired her and were very pleased. I left detailed notes/instructions for Emma re feeding, potty and walking schedules, which she carefully followed. As requested, she happily let Tillie sleep on our bed with her and provided occasional email updates and photos. Emma collected and organized all of our mail, newspapers and packages. Also, as instructed, she listened to messages left on our phone and wrote down the date, person calling, phone number and subject matter for us to easily review upon returning. We arrived home to a very clean home. Without asking, Emma had cleaned the guest bathroom she had used, washed the sheets and put them back on our bed, washed towels, vacuumed all carpets and cleaned the kitchen counters and any dishes used. I highly recommend Emma and will definitely have her house and dog-sit for us in the future. She is friendly, trustworthy, and dependable. Perhaps, most important, she bonded well with Tillie and gave her lots of love and walks. My condo neighbors who interacted with Emma were very complimentary, too
Rachel was awesome! StanLee is a sweet little guy, but he also operates at a fairly high level of anxiety and has some very specific opinions about life. Rachel handled him perfectly. He got stroller rides, adventures at the river, plenty of time running around, and, most importantly for StanLee, lots of companionship and attention. Rachel communicated with me throughout his stay and sent plenty of pictures, so I always knew he was happy and well cared for. I’m pretty sure StanLee thought he was on vacation and I was the one being boarded. Thank you, Rachel, for taking such great care of my pal! We’ll absolutely be calling you again for StanLee’s next getaway.
Natalie was a fantastic house sitter. She took incredible care of our dogs and our home, and it was obvious how conscientious and thoughtful she is. She went above and beyond throughout her stay, giving us real peace of mind during a stressful week. We came home to happy, well-cared-for dogs and a house that was just as well cared for. Jenny was great with my 2 dogs! She was always on time, great communication, and was very good with both my puppy and my more difficult adult male dog who is reactive on leash and can be mouthy. She is wonderful with my dogs and has been a repeat sitter and walker for me and I will continue to rehire her in the future!
I highly recommend Eowyn!! Eowyn took care of our anxious dog while we traveled. We came home to a calm and content dog, a clean home, and well watered plants!
