“Danielle was fantastic with my kitty! Sent lots of pics and let me know how she was doing as this was my first time leaving. My kitty was sassy but eventually gave in and let her give her lots of pets. Highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve built an established and trusted client base across the Spokane area, including Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Cheney, and surrounding communities. Through consistent, reliable care, I’ve gained experience with a variety of pets, personalities, and routines. From relaxed to high-energy pups. I’m an active sitter and enjoy spending time outdoors, so I’m happy to provide long walks and exercise for dogs that need daily activity. My goal is to make sure your pet stays happy and comfortable while you’re away! When working with me, you can expect a professional, friendly, and communicative experience. I prioritize consistent updates, reliability, and treating every pet as if they were my own. Additionally, I’m happy to help with basic household upkeep during your time away. This can include bringing in mail and packages, taking trash and recycling bins to and from the curb, watering indoor or outdoor plants, scooping the backyard for dog stays, cleaning litter boxes, and other small household tasks. If there’s something specific you’d like done, just let me know before your trip. I’m happy to help whenever I can! Lastly, My booking fee includes more than just excellent pet care, it also covers the transportation expenses that allow me to provide dependable care throughout your booking. This includes the cost of traveling to and from your home for visits, walks, overnight stays, and any other care your pet needs. My goal is to provide reliable service so you can enjoy your time away knowing everything is taken care of. I’m a fully remote online student at Eastern Washington University, double majoring in Psychology and Business Administration, and I’m currently seeking full-time pet sitting gigs! Because I attend school online, I have a very flexible schedule and can provide care throughout the day, overnight, on weekdays, weekends, holidays, and for extended stays. My calendar is updated daily, so if you need a sitter (even on short notice), feel free to reach out anytime! I will follow your set schedule and ensure your pet feels safe and well cared for in a nurturing environment. Morning and Evening photo updates will be sent during stays, and I would be sure to keep your pet engaged with activities such as walks or games that they can enjoy!
“Thank you Jess. Another outstanding job with taking care of our Muffin and Roxy. We all trust you with your loving care and pictures included. I see Muffin was much more trusting this second time around! Great job!”

About: * 8+ years of pet sitting experience for friends, family, and referrals. * Rocky, my 7-year-old Golden Retriever, is always by my side and has to be apart of the equation. * I work remotely, which allows me to provide plenty of supervision, companionship, walks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. * I only accept pets that are comfortable around large dogs and have a friendly, reliable temperament. Rocky’s safety and well-being as well as any animals I care for are my top priority. * My goal is to treat every pet like family and give owners peace of mind while they’re away I work remotely Monday through Friday, so my day naturally revolves around making sure the pets in my care—including my own—get plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, exercise, and outdoor time. Because every pet is different, I tailor activities to their age, energy level, and individual needs. Trust is everything when it comes to caring for someone’s pets. I’ve been with the same company for 9 years, and I bring that same reliability, integrity, and accountability to every pet I care for. As a Project Manager, I’m highly detail-oriented and comfortable following specific routines, medications, and care instructions. I know every pet is different, and I take the time to learn what helps them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I genuinely love animals and don’t just “watch” pets—I enjoy spending time with them, keeping them engaged, active, and loved while you’re away.
“she was great ......good with communication ....from what she said my dog was skeptical as always ....but he didn't bark at her as much as normal so that's a great sign ......will definitely request her in the future”

“Mylo did a super job dropping in and helping us out with our dogs over the holiday weekend. We were so grateful knowing that she was spending time with our dogs while we were away from our home. She gave them attention, pets, play time, fresh water, fed them, and even retrieved a beloved ball from underneath the deck and saved the day. She was communicative and kept us updated with messages and photos. We wouldn't hesitate to rebook with Mylo again.”

“Jordyn took great care of my two very different dogs during her check-in! The dogs warmed up to her quite nicely and I could tell they were in good hands while I was away ❤️”

“Ven is a great sitter! I was really nervous about leaving my cat with a sitter because she is a bit shy and needed daily medication, but Ven did so amazing with her. They stayed in communication with me and didn’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. I would absolutely recommend Ven to anyone looking for care for their pets!”

“Nicole was great with our dogs and my puppy and older dog can be stubborn and she did amazing with them. Will definitely book again with Nicole. Very trustworthy and kind to our dogs ! I like how she even took time to send pictures and sit with them (:”

“Julia did a wonderful job taking care of our 2 cats while we were out of town. She came over ahead of time for a walkthrough and performed drop in visits each day we were gone.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Hutton Settlement
Mylo was amazing with our cats while we were out of town! They gave our elderly cat his insulin (even when he was a bit grumpy), showered our needy cats with attention, and provided wonderful care for all three of our furbabies. Everyone was well fed, watered, and clearly comfortable when we got home. We’re so grateful for Mylo’s attentiveness and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring petsitter.

A wonderful sitter with great attention to detail! Mylo was a pleasure to work with, and provided thorough consistent updates through the course of two weeks. They went above and beyond for our pets and I would gladly entrust our fur babies with Mylo again. Thank you so much!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Hutton Settlement. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
