“Taylor has been so flexible on this visit. My cat had a medical problem just as I was leaving on a trip. This required numerous changes to the schedule, as he was in emergency care for a time. Then when he came back home, he needed to take new medications at different times than originally planned. Taylor adjusted the schedule to the new requirements, and administered the different meds that he required. So glad that Taylor is there to help however is needed!”

About: Having pups, kitties, and people puppies around me all my life, I provide attentive care, a semi-professional throwing arm with amazing aim as a red dot illusionist, and the ability to hike 3 miles or nap for 3 hours - fur-friend's choice! I will bring my own water, blankie, and snacks, so whatever your pet desires or needs, I am a ready and willing adventure buddy! I work full time, but I find myself with spare time on weekends and after some work nights. I also have the added benefit of a hybrid work schedule, so I am happy to work from your home with your bestie(s) and catch multiple play or potty breaks with the cutie(s). In your home, I am respectful of your space and theirs, and I am really laid back but responsible by nature. Your fur-friend will be safe and comfy in their own space, and I have very good self-entertaining skills and sleep habits if they prefer to be chill. If they are hyper or playful, I will match their energy within the limits and regulations of the home we are in. Car rides, hikes, parks, walks around the neighborhood, and even a backyard fetch session are happily encouraged. I can maintain a schedule or be as flexible as your buddy needs!

“We rebooked Brooke for a 10-day, three times (1-hour each) per day visit. With 3 large dogs left at home alone it could be like the Xmas movie so we opted to play it safe. She walked them, fed, played, picked up poop, changed water, arranged bedding. Our large German Shepard howls (happy) when he sees her and runs to her for pets and back rubs. We also have a standard poodle that is high energy and Brooke kept her running while hiking and worked on recall. Our lab makes excuses for the other two and commiserates with Brooke at their wanderings. Our heating unit went out and she set up portable heaters and kept watch on the temperature levels until we got back. Highly recommend. She really likes dogs and you know what is said…if my dog doesn’t like you we can’t be friends. You’ll be friends.”

About: I have had dogs since I was 10 years old when I began showing them in agility through 4-H. I have had several foster dogs over the years including those with severe anxiety, one that only spoke Russian, and one that had to wear a diaper. I have two personal dogs who are wonderful adventure companions for my boys and I. I am a special education teacher. I am fully available during weekends, summer, and holidays. During work days I work from 8:00 - 4:00. I can run home for a potty break once during my scheduled work day as needed. I have a large fenced yard with a doggy door system both to the heated garage and outside. I have a separate cat room built off of my garage. It has heat and air conditioning with a large window. This spring a catio will be a wonderful addition to the totally secure space. My home is warm and inviting. I have two lovely children (9 and 11) who adore animals as much as their mother!

About: I’ve had pets ever since I was a child and have also always cared for my own pets. I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, cows, birds and a love for all animals. I currently have two dogs of my own and a horse. I am in grad school so I am looking for something incredibly flexible for extra money. Caring for your furry (and not so furry!) loved ones brings me lots of joy and is how I wish I could spend every day. Also available for overnights up to a week, staying in your home so your animal is most comfy! I can administer pills and monitor health conditions, and can provide physical assistance for small dogs and cats with mobility issues, like getting up and down furniture. I'm open and eager to learn administering other medication types if you are comfortable teaching! Anxious and shy pets warm to me easily, and so do senior dogs and cats! About: I have taken care of neighbors and family member pets since I was 10 and i have always had an animal in my home. Pets take to me very quickly, and i have always enjoyed thier company as well. My mom has been doing rover for little over 3 years so i have been able to assist her with rover related services. I have taken care of many puppies and older aged dogs and cats, and I am aware of the different needs of different pets of size ages and backgrounds. Most of my pets have been rescues so i am also good with pets with ptsd and anxiety. I have high patinence levels and adapt easily to new situations. My first priority will always be the safety of the pet so I will always make sure to clarify details and not just assume. I make sure my pets are fed, brushed and giving exercise daily. Sometimes my eldest dog will come into my room at 2 am asking to go to the bathroom because she knows I will get up to let her out when she cant get anyone else to wake up. And when needed I enjoy giving my pets baths. I check in on the frequently to make sure that they aren't anxious or in need of something. I am consistent with feeding schedules and bathroom schedules, along with grooming schedules if needed. I also make sure to pick up any accidents that may happen. I am observent and often the one to catch if something is up i am often the one in my home to notice things like bugs, cuts, splinters, and clumps of fur that may be bothersome or itchy.
