“In short, Taylor is excellent. My cat “Mouse” has some minor medical issues. He requires meds to be given with food, and has some related issues that need specific responses. I gave the basics of his needs in my profile, and then gave more details verbally to Taylor before she took care of him for a few days. During our conversation before care started, she was taking notes, then went over them with me to ensure her notes were accurate. During her time taking care of Mouse, she provided very detailed notes and pictures from her visits. It was clear that she followed my instructions explicitly. She mentioned some things that happened during her visits due to his medical issues, and noted how she responded. It was very comforting to know that she responded correctly, per my instructions, and kept me up to date on how he was doing. It’s clear that she cares about the animals that she takes care of, and knows how to earn their trust. She didn’t push or force herself on Mouse, she gently let him check her out and accept her presence before proceeding to interact more with him. When she interacted with him, she was very perceptive in learning what he likes and doesn’t like. Mouse clearly enjoyed his time with her. Finally, it’s a little scary letting someone you don’t know in to your life and house to take care of your pet. My daughter couldn’t visit as often as needed, and really wanted me to find other friends who could visit Mouse. That’s easier said than done, especially because I travel a lot. After seeing the visit notes and pictures that Taylor provided, Taylor won my daughter over. She could clearly see how well Taylor was taking care of Mouse, and said Taylor took better care of Mouse than she did. I can’t give higher praise than that. I’m looking forward to future trips with Taylor taking care of Mouse.”

About: I have had dogs since I was 10 years old when I began showing them in agility through 4-H. I have had several foster dogs over the years including those with severe anxiety, one that only spoke Russian, and one that had to wear a diaper. I have two personal dogs who are wonderful adventure companions for my boys and I. I am a special education teacher. I am fully available during weekends, summer, and holidays. During work days I work from 8:00 - 4:00. I can run home for a potty break once during my scheduled work day as needed. I have a large fenced yard with a doggy door system both to the heated garage and outside. I have a separate cat room built off of my garage. It has heat and air conditioning with a large window. This spring a catio will be a wonderful addition to the totally secure space. My home is warm and inviting. I have two lovely children (9 and 11) who adore animals as much as their mother!

About: Hello, My name is Nikcole. I’ve been around animals my whole life, I was the little girl who always brought stray dogs home and talked my parents into letting us keep them. I currently own a 90lb Golden Retriever named StilestheGR and 2 cats Millie and Montana. I used to operate a dog rescue (the stray saver in me) for 5 years and am proud to say that our operation saved and rehomed over 500 dogs. I love all animals, I would say cats are on my intermediate list of knowledge and dogs are my specialty! My main focus on Rover is dog walking/hiking or even adventure outings but I also do drop-ins and house sitting. I do currently work full-time M-F and typically have early evenings and weekends available to my rover clients. I’m available M-F evenings and all day and night on weekends. I typically only need one day notice for bookings and 3 day notice for cancelations. My current capabilities are walking dogs and house sitting. I will following your instructions exactly as listed and provide updates as many times as you would like to give you peace of mind. I can also provide a list of personal references upon request.
About: I am well experienced with reactive and “solo” dogs as I grew up with one. I know how important schedule and routine is to reactive dogs and will always remember that their schedule comes first. I am a new college grad looking for something to do during the day. Dogs are truly the light of my life and I love spending time with dogs of all kinds. I am currently searching for a full time job so my schedule is completely open. Your dog’s safety comes first! I am well experienced with reactive and routine-focused dogs, so I know what it’s like for dogs to rely on schedule and special attention.
About: I grew up with a golden retriever for almost 10 years and learned all of the responsibilities of walking, washing, loving, and playing with dogs and I had a 3 1/2 year old cat whom I learned to care for on my own as well for the past 3 years. I also have experience pet/house sitting and just dropping in on friends dogs or cats as a teenager. I'm currently working full time but I work remotely so it you need a house sitter, I can work from there and take breaks to play, let dog out, feed, etc. I only work Mon to Fri so can easily house sit on the weekend at any time. If you only need a dog walker, I am available after 5pm during weekdays but am available anytime on Sat and/or Sunday. I care for your dog and/or cat while house sitting by walking, feeding, bathing, and playing with them. I have a car that I can bring them to a vet, if needed.

I have experience dealing with behavioral dogs, administering medicine, and training puppies! Whatever your animal may need, I am happy to do. While I work full-time, my work is fairly flexible. Also have 2 cats in the home who don’t mind dogs as long your dog(s) won’t go after them. I’m home most of the day and your dog(s) would be able to play with Maple, nap on our couches and chill with our family until you get back! I’m home most of the time, so your dog won’t be left alone. My daily routine includes exercising my dog in our backyard daily so your dog can join in fetch or fun sniffing or doggy chase, or whatever they want!
