“MacKenzie was fantastic! We had a family member cancel with short notice for watching out 2 dogs and 3 cats for a week while we were going on vacation. I quickly hopped on Rover to see who was near us, and decided to message MacKenzie based on other reviews that had been left. She was quickly able to come over and meet our gang to make sure it would be a fit. After that initial meeting, my husband and I both felt very comfortable and confident with her coming to stay and take care of things while we were gone. The day we were supposed to leave, we ran into some issues but MacKenzie was flexible and fast to communicate. She was very punctual and sent brief updates/questions throughout the week (she has our preference on communication and we had told her we didn't need regular check ins or updates). When we got home, we could tell our dogs and cats had missed us, but it was also clear that they had been well taken care of. About: I am a big animal lover and can help with many things needed to give your animal the best care! have had many pets throughout the years; Cats, dogs, rabbits and chickens. I have also helped watching others pets. I have been a stay at home mom and with my kid going back to school I will have plenty of time available throughout the week. I do not have a fenced yard but I do have a big yard in a great neighborhood. I have chickens as well as an indoor cat that is 9 years old.

Ella was great! She was so patient and understanding about my anxiety of leaving my dogs with a “stranger”. She came over a few days prior to the booking to meet me and the dogs. My very geriatric dogs seemed to relax around her way faster than they do with most people. She communicated well with me the entire weekend and sent me pictures and videos of my boys. When I got home my house looked the exact same as when I left it and my very needed dogs acted like I had never left in the first place. Thank you so much for being there with them Ella. We had an amazing experience with Paige! Abigail is amazing! I have an easy but not-so-easy senior dog dealing with doggy dementia and Abby took care of my baby with such genuine care. Just the week prior to my trip I was so full of anxiety leaving my girl, but Abby did a phenomenal job keeping me up to date with her and easing any anxiety I had. I had a great trip, and London had a wonderful time with her new friend.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
