Also have 2 cats in the home who don’t mind dogs as long your dog(s) won’t go after them. I’m home most of the day and your dog(s) would be able to play with Maple, nap on our couches and chill with our family until you get back! I’m home most of the time, so your dog won’t be left alone. My daily routine includes exercising my dog in our backyard daily so your dog can join in fetch or fun sniffing or doggy chase, or whatever they want! We have a large fenced backyard, and a sweet female dog to keep yours company. I’m home most of the day, so your pup won’t be left alone.

About: I grew up around cats and spent a lot of time caring for my grandparents’ cats when they were away, which gave me early experience with daily care, routines, and understanding different cat personalities. I’ve always felt naturally comfortable around them and really value the calm, comforting presence. I’m currently in a place where I’d love to adopt a cat of my own when the timing is right. “In short, Taylor is excellent. My cat “Mouse” has some minor medical issues. He requires meds to be given with food, and has some related issues that need specific responses. I gave the basics of his needs in my profile, and then gave more details verbally to Taylor before she took care of him for a few days. During our conversation before care started, she was taking notes, then went over them with me to ensure her notes were accurate. During her time taking care of Mouse, she provided very detailed notes and pictures from her visits. It was clear that she followed my instructions explicitly. She mentioned some things that happened during her visits due to his medical issues, and noted how she responded. It was very comforting to know that she responded correctly, per my instructions, and kept me up to date on how he was doing. It’s clear that she cares about the animals that she takes care of, and knows how to earn their trust. She didn’t push or force herself on Mouse, she gently let him check her out and accept her presence before proceeding to interact more with him. When she interacted with him, she was very perceptive in learning what he likes and doesn’t like. Mouse clearly enjoyed his time with her. Finally, it’s a little scary letting someone you don’t know in to your life and house to take care of your pet. My daughter couldn’t visit as often as needed, and really wanted me to find other friends who could visit Mouse. That’s easier said than done, especially because I travel a lot. After seeing the visit notes and pictures that Taylor provided, Taylor won my daughter over. She could clearly see how well Taylor was taking care of Mouse, and said Taylor took better care of Mouse than she did. I can’t give higher praise than that. I’m looking forward to future trips with Taylor taking care of Mouse.”

About: Hi, I'm Mandy. Although I am new to using the Rover App, I am not new to caring for dogs. I grew up on a farm and lived with dogs all my life (lab, rat terriers, blue heeler, multiple mixed breeds). I currently have two playful poodle mixes (Cookie & Nacho) and before them, I had a French Bulldog (Prince) for 14 happy years. I love all kinds of dogs. Due to the setting I offer, small to medium sized dogs will enjoy it here the best. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate special requests for boarding with enough advanced notice. I work from home, and I am home on most weekends. With two small dogs of my own, I will be around for feeding and potty breaks, and of course, play! I also have two kids (ages 6 & 11) that like to help and play. It's a very "PawSitive Vibes" environment around here ☺️. The yard area has plenty of shade, space to relax, run or play and is fully enclosed with a tall wood fence. Dogs that stay will be allowed to roam free inside my home along with the two dogs that I have. If your dog has any special care needs, just let me know how I can accommodate. My home has all hard floors so if an accident happens, I don't get worried about that. 🙌 My 2 dogs are up to date on all typical, vet recommended vaccinations, for everyone's health and safety. This is just a friendly reminder to all of my current and future clients: While I do my best to keep a clean and pest free space, I also count on my clients to help with that effort by keeping vaccinations current for their pets too. These include: vaccines for rabies, Bordetella (kennel cough), and DHPP (which protects against distemper, hepatitis, and parvovirus).

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a baby, I’d say my experience in caring for them started at about 5! We had 6 family dogs when I was a child. I love to go on walks and have a furry friend to enjoy them with! Playing fetch and tug-o-war, and watching a movie together has always been my go to when at home. I have given meds in food before as well as ear drops, and eye drops! I am currently working from home, and have quite a bit of flexibility in my schedule. About: Hello! My name is Ella Curry and I am a nursing student in my senior year that’s missing my pets at home! I would love to meet and help some new furry friends! One of my first experiences outside of caring for my pets was caring for my neighbor's dogs while they were away for over a week. I did this for 4-5 years each summer until I moved to college. My duties for this job included: Feeding both dogs at 8 am and 6 pm every day, checking that their water was full both times I fed them, taking daily walks, and spending at least 30 mins of play time with the dogs after each feeding. I'm an animal lover who has fostered and adopted several rescue animals throughout my life. I pride myself on being patient and gentle with even the most timid or ornery of dogs. I'm currently working part-time as an AAU coach in southern Spokane! I go to Whitworth University and study nursing while also pursuing basketball. I’m patient with animals of various behavioral needs as well, and have even cared for fish and exotic pets. I’ve personally owned and care for dogs and cats have been a sitter on Rover since 2022. I work M-F and have weekends off, getting off in the early afternoon, and will absolutely make time for your pet for their needs throughout the day to the best of my abilities! I’m available for sitting at owners’ homes, taking pets for walks, check-ins, etc. as needed, and I have my own reliable transportation to get it all done. I am very considerate of you and your pet’s comfort. I respect all owners’ property and value their trust, and strive to make you feel comfortable, secure, and respected. I will always leave your home as I found it or better after my time there. With safety in consideration, there are multiple parks near my own home to take dogs (or cats, if they like that!) to; I’m comfortable having pets in my car or we can walk if it’s close! About: I have had three dogs in my life. I currently work at a doggy daycare in Kalispell Mt where I clean up after dogs, walk them, make sure each one is getting it's individual need, along with distributing medications and following feeding schedules. I have a full time job at currently, but I have most evenings/nights off. I work overnights on Mondays, 10-6 on Tuesdays, 7-3 on Wednesdays, 9-6 on Thursdays, 6:30-3 on Fridays, and an overnight on Saturdays. We have a dog and two cats here with a fenced in back yard. The two cats we have don't get along so we need to let one out and make sure the other is in. No incidents have happened and I'm very aware of the location of all the animals. I am willing to follow any special instructions for the animals that are required.

I dog sit almost full time and I attend school online allowing my schedule to be flexible and work around your pets needs. I can guarantee I won’t be gone for more than 5 hrs at a time. In your home I do my best to make your pets feel comfortable by following their normal daily routine to the best of my ability.

They let us come over prior to staying so that Myrna (my dog) could sniff things out and get a feel for them. Rosangella was so welcoming and understanding- she really has a good sense for dogs. Myrna stayed with them for four days, I got photos every day of their walks and updates on her progress as she warmed up to the family.
