“5 Stars - highly recommend. We don't commonly leave our cats alone for more than a day so needless to say, we were going to be very anxious when leaving them for a week. Whitney completely erased that concern from our hearts. After meeting Whitney in person before our vacation, we knew she would be a perfect fit for our cats. She understood their personality differences right away and catered to their needs wonderfully. Most notably, our cats have odd eating habits and she navigated those well. She also made sure the litter area stayed clean. I appreciate the extra attention to detail that she followed based on our written instructions for how to care for them. Even in a pinch, Whitney was willing to go above and beyond to make sure our kitties were comfortable while we were away and when we came home it was almost as if we had never left. We also greatly appreciated the cute reports and pictures that Whitney left for us after ever visit. Seeing our cats warm up to her really put our minds at ease. We will be booking Whitney again in the future whenever we need to go out of town.”

About: I grew up on a 6-acre farm in Washington surrounded by animals, with most of my experience in caring for and training medium to large dogs, from Cane Corsos to Australian Shepherds. My partner, Gerald, was raised with German Shepherds and shares the same love and dedication to pets. Together, we care for our rescue cat, Luna, and our Icelandic Sheepdog, Lyra, giving them all the attention and affection they deserve. I’m a full-time grad student in clinical mental health counseling, and my flexible schedule means I’m home most days. Caring for animals is already part of my daily routine, from walks and car rides to regular trips to Magnuson off-leash park with my dog. My partner, Gerald, works from home full-time, so when I’m on campus a few days a week, your pets will still have plenty of company, love, and attention. Gerald and I live in a house with a fenced yard and a separate dog run, in a neighborhood that’s great for walks. Our dog Lyra is a friendly, gentle two-year-old who loves playing with other dogs, while our cat Luna is quieter and may prefer to stay on her cat tree. Since Gerald works from home, your pet will always have supervision and care, even if I’m out. Please keep in mind that your pup will be sharing space with our high-energy dog and calm cat, both loved and well cared for in a safe, patient home.
