“Mando LOVES Gavina. He always knows when it's her at the door and gets so excited. He seems to know her name, and when I tell him she is on the way, hell go sit by the door waiting for her. I feel blessed to have found someone who has such an obvious rapport with animals.”

About: I've had the pleasure of loving and taking care of furbabies of all sizes for 20 years. I first started pet sitting for an acquaintance in 2005. Later, when I became established in the area as a trusted house cleaner, I started pet sitting for some of my clients and their friends. Sadly, I lost all my clients and contacts save one in the Camp Fire as my client base was in Paradise and Magalia. Since then, I have taken care of my own little furbabies and ever so often cared for the Chihuahua/Pug/Terrier mix of the one remaining client from Paradise. Within the years that I was actively pet sitting, I took care of dogs of all sizes from Chihuahuas to Whippets. I am excited to once again assist you with your pet sitting needs and ensure the best attention is given to your dog’s health, happiness, and well-being! For my clients in Paradise and Magalia, I did both drop ins and overnight stays. (My favorite memory was staying with two little lovely Dachsies for three weeks!) I made sure each pet I took care of was fed as per the instructions given to me and that they had access to fresh, clean water. Whether it’s maintaining a regular meal routine or making sure your pet stays hydrated throughout the day, I prioritize comfort and health for all furbabies in my care. I also have experience administering medications, whether oral or topical, and am dedicated to ensuring your pets specific medical needs are met with precision and care. I know personally the importance of a vet's instructions and the proper maintenance of a consistent medication routine. I also know the importance of exercise in keeping a pet happy and healthy. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll or a more vigorous activity, I am happy to ensure that your pet gets the exercise and playtime they need! Above all, each dog that I have taken care of I have treated as part of my family. I look forward to providing your furbaby with the same love, attention, and care that I have given to my past clients and to my own pets! I am currently working a few hours on the weekends during the day for an In-Home Healthcare client. I am available days and nights during the week, and evenings and nights on weekends. For any pet in my care, whether it has been a client's pet or my own, I have always ensured that they have gotten plenty of love and quality care. For past clients, I adhered to all instructions given pertaining to feeding time, exercise and medications if applicable. I made sure there were plenty of cuddles and that every pet in my care felt safe and secure.

About: I was raised on a hobby farm, so I have all sorts of experience with animals/pets! I used to have dogs of my own and I now love taking care of others dogs! I am new to Yuba, CA, and currently have an open schedule! I love being able to get outside and go on long walks any time of the day. When taking care of others dogs, I like to use all of the same commands and rules as the dog parent. I am guilty of giving extra treats, but will always focus on what’s best for the pup.

About: Hi, I'm Larissa—luxury travel advisor by day and lifelong dog mom 24/7. My husband and I adopted our two pups, Rufus and Pippa, from shelters when they were just puppies. Today, they're wise seniors at 13 and 10 years old, and caring for them has given me deep experience with dogs of all ages, personalities, and medical needs. I’m calm, gentle, and attentive in everything I do—from giving oral meds and applying eye gels, to offering snuggles, baths, and cheerful companionship. My goal is simple: to bring joy to your dog’s day. Whether it's a walk, a play session, quiet pets, or a cozy drop-in, I approach every visit as a chance to make a meaningful connection. Pet parents often tell me their dogs seem relaxed and happy after my visits, and that means the world to me. I’d be honored to care for your furry family member while you're away, and to ensure they feel safe, loved, and seen. Pet care is woven into my everyday life—I have two senior dogs, Rufus and Pippa, who were adopted as puppies and have grown up with our family. They require daily walks, medications, and lots of gentle attention, so being attuned to a pet’s physical and emotional needs is second nature. My schedule is flexible thanks to my work as a travel advisor, which allows me to plan visits, walks, or drop-ins around client calls and creative projects. I genuinely enjoy the peaceful break that pet time brings - doggy time brings me joy. I offer care exclusively in the client’s home, ensuring their pet feels secure in a familiar environment. Whether I’m dropping in for a visit or taking them for a walk, I bring a calm and gentle presence. I follow the pet’s existing routine closely—feeding, medications, play, or quiet time - and provide updates so the owner knows their furry family member is happy and well. I’m detail-oriented, intuitive, and committed to making each interaction joyful and low-stress.

About: As a child I grew up on an acre with many cats and dogs. I have experience walking with dogs that required a lot of running to keep up with. I also have experience dog sitting. I had a pit bull and boxer recently that were absolute sweethearts. I can keep energetic when it's needed, and calm when it's necessary. I homeschool two boys and work from home. I like staying active and busy, so dog walking and house sitting definitely fits into my schedule. I know how to let an animal get comfortable with my energy so I don't inspire anxiety. I am willing to match their energy when they want to play or run. I am also willing to provide comfort and love when they are lonely or overwhelmed. I know how to clean and bandage a wound if it ever comes to that, and will always keep your pets safety and comfort a priority.

About: I’ve been will all kinds of animals. Big animals to small. Our fur babies deserve to be treated like a newborn baby because they deserve all the love and attention they can get! Even though animals can’t speak I love to get to know all animals different quirky personalities. With a notice in advance I would love to watch any animal(s) that you will put your trust in me to watch and take care of. As an animal owner myself I want to make sure my animal is happy and comfortable. Always making sure my animal never is hungry or thirsty. Letting out my dog before he has to beg to use the bathroom outside. Attention is 100% key when you take care of an animal, especially if you’re not the owner. So trust in me and i’ll keep your fur baby(ies) safe and happy. :) <3

About: I’ve always grown up with dogs and cats and have enjoyed taking care of them from babies to seniors. Family and friends have all separately mentioned how I create a unique bond with their fur babies whether I’ve cared for them or merely visited them over the years. People know in reliable, patient, loving, and don’t mind rolling in the grass along with your pet. I work from home on my own schedule so have plenty of time to drop in and spend with pets and take them for walks. I currently live in a pet friendly apartment and can board cats or dogs if any size and breed if needed. I am attentive to the needs at feeding time, play time, and every time in between.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and I always will, they’re the absolute best! When I turned 16 I became a puppy and dogsitter for many family friends as well. I know that a happy dog is a tired dog and I strive to do that even with my own puppy and yours will get the same treatment! Of course different dogs have different energy levels and I have experience with large, medium, small; puppies or seniors! I also have some light experience giving medication. I currently have one dog, Marvin, who is a two year old small/medium sized mutt! He loves to play and gets along with all other dogs! We love to go to the dog park, regular park, around the neighborhood, and wherever dogs are allowed and would love your pup to join us! I am currently staying at home while I complete my credential program online so I will have plenty of time to care for your pet! My yard is completely fenced in and we make sure to keep anything dangerous far out of reach of our pets. Of course we will follow any rules you have with your dog but our dog is allowed on furniture and sleeps wherever he wants.

About: I have been trusted by family and friends to care for their pets. I have my own GSD that has gone through training courses so I have experience with many dogs. I have also trained other pups and their owners. In my home I have 2 cats so I have plenty of experience with both types of animals. I am a full-time student so I have arranged my availability based on the times I am not in class or in meetings for my specific program. Depending on the instructions given to me by owners I will modify my way of caring. I am flexible and here to work providing the best service an owner could want.

About: As of May 2024, I am NAPPS (national Association of Professional Pet Sitters) certified! I have over 15 years of experience handling dog breeds sized from a Pomeranian to a Great Pyrenees. I personally have lived with, raised and trained German Shepherds, American Eskimos and Golden Retrievers. Family, friends and co-workers have utilized me to do anything from regular pet-sitting visiting a couple times a day for basic care and some love, to full-time house sitting. I am very well-versed in caring for seniors, as well as puppies; including managing house-training, and making sure little mouthes find the right things to chew and saving your slippers! I have no trouble caring for multiple animals of multiple species; I personally have dogs, cats and birds, and I've also worked with horses since I was a young child. I am currently available full-time so I can be very flexible for meet and greets with new clients, and standard bookings for overnight pet care services. Drop ins or walks during the week may need to be flexible in terms of scheduling, but I will typically be very accommodating for your scheduling needs so just contact me with any questions! Care will heavily depend on the usual routine for each individual pet/client. I will do my best to adhere to the most normal, expected routine for your animals to make sure they are as unbothered by your absence as possible. This is all done within your home, to help make sure pets don't feel any additional strain by needing to acclimate to a strange place while their family is gone. At minimum, I'm expecting two visits per day when an owner is out of town. Feeding, watering, potty-time walks for any dogs, any other basic care like litter boxes, and some play and love for all of my charges. Care will only go up from there based on client preferences. On a limited basis, I do offer boarding in my home for one client at a time for pups that are friendly with other animals and are up to date on their shots with no behavioral issues. If you have questions on boarding vs housesitting, just let me know and I'm happy to discuss your specific needs!
