I've also worked for 10+ years with a local rescue, raising kittens only days or weeks old until they are old enough to be fixed and adopted - feeding them milk on a regular schedule and then weaning them onto wet food, then dry food, also teaching them how to be a cat by interacting with my cats. About: Hello, I am lexington a recent college graduate and I am trying to save money to go to vet school as well as get experience with different dogs or animals. I have experience with giving dogs shots and where to place the different kinds of shots on the dog or cat. I have worked with many different breeds at the butte humane society. I started out going twice a week to 3 times weeks for 6 hours weekly just to walk dogs and hang out with cats. I got up to 108 hours for a unit course which was cool. I have also helped with wags and whiskers events such as moving the dogs to the pen area so they could get adopted. I have also grown up with animals my whole life, since my first animal was when I was two and he was a black cat named mine. Full availability till the 27th of may and then I am available after 5:30 pm Monday-Thursday. Open availability on the weekends though. I would love to hang out with your animals since it makes me a happier person. I can feed them, clean litter boxes, play with the animal, I can also lay with the animal while watching tv with them. I can do heavy lifting if needed.

“Amanda was very gracious towards our very naughty puppy. Apparently, some of the nervous behaviors that we don’t see at home came out with an unholy flourish at Amanda‘s home. But I appreciate the fact that Amanda gave us a full and honest report (which is helpful for us to gauge the areas he still needs significant training) and was very kind about the negatives. The most important thing, though, was that he settled down in the car almost immediately. Our dog is a very nervous dog, so if he has had a rough time at a dog sitter, we know right away because he whines and whimpers all the way home. After leaving Amanda‘s house, he winded for about 60 seconds and then went to sleep. Hallelujah! Thank you, Amanda, for the top quality care you have given to our very low quality puppy. I am especially grateful that Amanda was willing to take the puppy at the last minute, because my husband had a hospital procedure and I had completely forgotten about making arrangements for the dog. About: I grew up here in Northern California with many different loyal pet dogs. After high school I joined the Army and got out of active duty in 2017. Long story short I moved to Alaska with my pet dog from Yuba City where I learned to be a dog musher and she learned to be sled dog. I’ve worked for various different high level sled dog kennels, thousands of different dogs, thousands of hours with dogs, thousands of miles with dogs, and even spent a year working at an Athletic & Longevity Canine Research Facility under the mentorship of some of best veterinarians and scientists. About: I have had a variety of animals always in my life. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish and rodents. (All of which I've had at some point) I have also worked for a rescue charity for 7+ years which resulted in having learned basic and emergency care, as well as administration of medication. I am retired and looking to fill my time with love and cuddles. I have always enjoyed caring for the variety of animals I have and have had. I love learning all the cute special quirks and loves of every animal I interact with. I am very respectful of other people's space and items - my focus is on the animals in my charge. I can feed, walk, play and generally be a companion to any animal. I also respect the home and treat it even better than my own, ensuring that I leave the home as I found it.

About: I have taken care of dogs for over 10 years. I have fostered dogs with all backgrounds and all different breeds including abused, abandoned, and aggressive dogs that needed extra attention to acclimate to a steady home environment. We treat every dog like our own with all the loves and pets that they require! We LOVE all animals. About: I have had pets my whole life. I have experience with dogs from English mastiffs, to chihuahuas. I love cats, lizards, birds, literally all animals. I work/live on Beale AFB. I am very flexible. If you live on base I can go to your home on my lunch for a quick visit. Like I said I am an animal lover.
