I also volunteered at FieldHaven for five months, where I cared for cats and gained experience meeting the needs of animals in a safe and compassionate environment. About: I grew up here in Northern California with many different loyal pet dogs. After high school I joined the Army and got out of active duty in 2017. Long story short I moved to Alaska with my pet dog from Yuba City where I learned to be a dog musher and she learned to be sled dog. I’ve worked for various different high level sled dog kennels, thousands of different dogs, thousands of hours with dogs, thousands of miles with dogs, and even spent a year working at an Athletic & Longevity Canine Research Facility under the mentorship of some of best veterinarians and scientists. My knowledge and experience in general canine medical care, psychology, and training is advanced. I currently work from home & have a flexible schedule. I open to the special needs & care of your beloved pet from all ages. Each pet is individually unique when it comes to specific pet care, so I will work diligently with owners to best understand their pet. I have 1 spayed female 8 y/o Shepherd/Husky mix who is well tempered, a lead sled dog, well socialized to keep your pet company(friendly with both dogs & cats). I have a dog door that leads to a fenced in backyard. Regularly scheduled feeding, walks, & bathroom breaks.

About: I've had the pleasure of loving and taking care of furbabies of all sizes for 20 years. I first started pet sitting for an acquaintance in 2005. Later, when I became established in the area as a trusted house cleaner, I started pet sitting for some of my clients and their friends. Sadly, I lost all my clients and contacts save one in the Camp Fire as my client base was in Paradise and Magalia. Since then, I have taken care of my own little furbabies and ever so often cared for the Chihuahua/Pug/Terrier mix of the one remaining client from Paradise. My schedule has changed and is more open during the work week. I currently have a day job between the hours of 12:30PM and 2:30PM, Monday through Friday. My hours can be flexible with this day job. I am available early morning and some evenings during the work week. My schedule changes, on occasion, in the evenings Monday through Friday. My weekends are fully free and am available for pet sitting, dog walking and drop-ins all day on Saturday and Sunday. For any pet in my care, whether it has been a client's pet or my own, I have always ensured that they have gotten plenty of love and quality care. For past clients, I adhered to all instructions given pertaining to feeding time, exercise and medications if applicable. I made sure there were plenty of cuddles and that every pet in my care felt safe and secure.
