“I found my Pet Sitting Angel ‘Lynn’ on Rover. Before Lynn would agree to board my little Dilly, she had me meet her and her pups at a public park to see if we were all compatible with each other. I appreciated that. It tells me she looks out for the dogs and is not just doing it for the money. Lynn boarded my little fur baby for 4 days, and on the last day I had an issue with my airline being delayed and I had to let Lynn know I wouldn’t be back on time. It was so easy to pay for an additional day and Lynn reassured me my Dilly would be fine. The whole duration of my vacation, Lynn sent updates and pictures of Dilly’s activities, play time, and some new (and much appreciated) commands she taught my little baby. I picked up a more calm and better adjusted Dilly! Lynn is a dog whisperer! I will never board Dilly anywhere else, but with Lynn! I was so at ease and relaxed on vacation to know Dilly was at such a loving home, with someone who treated her as if she was her own dog. The pictures Lynn sent me daily, warmed my heart! ? Lynn let me know what to bring before I dropped of my pet, and even recomended that I purchase a play pop up canvas cage for Dilly to have a quiet place that was all hers to sleep in, and/or just have some alone time. “Grant is a fantastic caregiver for any doggy but esp mine. Ive got a great dog (husky mix, good temperament, great on walks, mellow, polite, no potty mistakes, doesnt destroy anything) and I struggle to let people spend time with her unless Im confident the person can maintain the same "rules, boundaries and limitations" that I (try to) do. (i.e., dont disrupt the freakin miracle) So, the big takeaways from my experience boarding the doggy with Grant: Grant communicates very well with his clients (texts and pics/videos), clearly created some kind of relationship with my doggy (totally relaxed, responded to Grant's voice), and has the type of property and pack where you know your dog is loving life (even if it upsets you that Grant would send you evidence that your dog can have such a good time without you). Most importantly to me, while my doggy was happy to see me when I picked her up (bc she's a good girl!), she was not particularly interested to leave bc she wanted to nose her new bestie from Grant's pack. So positive for me to know that she was safe and see she was having fun.”

About: I've had cats since I was 5. My grandparents also has a farm so I have lots of experience with farm cats and feral cats. I've also worked for 10+ years with a local rescue, raising kittens only days or weeks old until they are old enough to be fixed and adopted - feeding them milk on a regular schedule and then weaning them onto wet food, then dry food, also teaching them how to be a cat by interacting with my cats. During the course of my volunteering I have also been taught various first aid treatments as well as how to administer medications and injections.

About: Been on rover for quite some time now 2018, I am now located in the Plumas Lake area. I am a CPDT but I’m shifting gears slightly and going to school for vet med to be a RVT. Your pets will be in good hands between myself and my wife who has 10 years as RVT. Coffee, let the pups out to potty, prep breakfast, head out for morning gym or appointment. Return by 12. Potty breaks and dog walk or bike ride for Sparta. Landscaping/yard work or In my workshop until sundown. Dogs eat around 5pm Yard is fenced in back and front. I will be able to provide play areas for little and big dogs separately if needed. Meals are typically mornings 7 to 9 and evenings 5 to7. I am able to create different zone for the dog to be in if there is any need for separation. I also have multiple buildings in which to house them and a very large private back yard for them to run.

I currently have 3 German Shepherds and a basset hound. 2 of my shepherds my daughter and I train for protection sports which includes obedience and tracking as well. When I was training my first shepherd I was part of a dog obedience club and taught puppy classes. I currently offer flight nanny services for pets under 20 lbs. I’ve cared for pets both big and small. I am available most mornings for a walk or to check in on a pet or offer a bit of play time before I head for work. I’m also available at least 3 full days a week to exercise and care for your pet I have a fenced yard and even my dogs are not allowed outside unsupervised. I do crate my dogs if I have to go somewhere. Only one of my dogs sleep in a crate at night. The others sleep on my bed or on the floor. Dogs are welcome on the furniture. I do have a toy box full of dog toys plus my dogs enjoy playing with others.

I feed the pets twice a day.I walk the dogs every 2 to 3 hours. I bathe them once a week depending on how dirty they get. I have worked with different breeds of dogs and i love them all:) I’m good with training the basics to any puppies too🤗 I work 4 days a week , some tuesday i am free all day, and on the weekdays i am available after 6pm. Weekends i’m free Safety and comfort are very important to me. I have a 5-year-old dachshund and four other dogs of different sizes/breed, so I’m very experienced caring for dogs. (i.e., dont disrupt the freakin miracle) So, the big takeaways from my experience boarding the doggy with Grant: Grant communicates very well with his clients (texts and pics/videos), clearly created some kind of relationship with my doggy (totally relaxed, responded to Grant's voice), and has the type of property and pack where you know your dog is loving life (even if it upsets you that Grant would send you evidence that your dog can have such a good time without you). Most importantly to me, while my doggy was happy to see me when I picked her up (bc she's a good girl!), she was not particularly interested to leave bc she wanted to nose her new bestie from Grant's pack. So positive for me to know that she was safe and see she was having fun.”
