Jessica was fantastic to work with. She was very communicative and friendly. She met with my dog and I the day before the walks to make sure that the dog was comfortable with her coming into our space. I could tell right away that she is a professional. Jessica was on time for the dog walks every day and I felt at ease knowing my shy dog was in expert hands. I highly recommend Jessica to anyone looking for pet care.

About: As an enthusiastic pet lover with a full-time job at a pet store and the proud owner of two adorable cats, I have immersed myself in the world of pet care for years. Growing up with dogs has instilled a deep understanding of canine behavior, while my feline companions have given me unique insights into the needs and quirks of our feline friends. This combined experience allows me to cater to both dogs and cats with the utmost love, attention, and care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I plan my schedule around your pet’s comfort—ensuring regular potty breaks every 4–8 hours, meals on time, play sessions, and lots of affection. Whether it’s a short visit or a longer stay, I make sure your pets feel relaxed, loved, and well cared for. Compassion First: I treat every pet like family, always prioritizing their comfort, safety, and happiness. Experience Counts: My experience at a pet store and as a multi-pet owner has taught me how to handle a wide range of behaviors, dietary needs, and situations—whether it’s picky eating, anxiety, or energetic zoomies. Tailored Care: I adapt to each pet’s routine, and I’m happy to follow specific feeding schedules, administer medications, or work with special needs pets.

About: Updated 9/16: While marked “away” for boarding and day care, please message for availability. Hi, We are major dog lovers! Kodi, our fluffy French Bulldog, is a cleft palate pup living his best life. We are familiar with BOAS, IVDD, Megaesophagus, food and environmental allergies, dog anxiety, food aggression, general puppy care, and senior care. While we have gained some of this experience through just being pet owners, we have also learned a lot from our fosters and their rescues. Up until 2021 I taught full time in the classroom, now I teach 99% from home. This allows me to care for Kodi as well as any friends or fosters we may have. For boarding and doggy day care: We have a double fenced and gated yard. Our home has a Ring doorbell, Furbo, and Blink camera to provide extra security. There are also plenty of AirTags to go around, because I’m a firm believer that you can never be too safe. Our stairs can be gated off, we are able to create a play pen, or crate for safety, if needed. Depending on your dog’s needs we have multiple types of feeders as well as water bowls. Fans, cooling mats, blankets, beds, ramps… you name it, we have it! House sitting: I am extra vigilant with locking doors and checking the perimeter prior to letting a dog in/ out. Other notes: We are very well versed in giving medication and taking care of skin conditions. And because you can never be too safe we have pet oxygen on hand. *Male puppies excluded from neutering requirement. *House sitting- if you would like me to stay at your home during the work day, this can be discussed.

About: I have had a variety of animals always in my life. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish and rodents. (All of which I've had at some point) I have also worked for a rescue charity for 7+ years which resulted in having learned basic and emergency care, as well as administration of medication. I am retired and looking to fill my time with love and cuddles. I have always enjoyed caring for the variety of animals I have and have had. I love learning all the cute special quirks and loves of every animal I interact with. I am very respectful of other people's space and items - my focus is on the animals in my charge. I can feed, walk, play and generally be a companion to any animal. I also respect the home and treat it even better than my own, ensuring that I leave the home as I found it.

About: I've had the pleasure of loving and taking care of furbabies of all sizes for 20 years. I first started pet sitting for an acquaintance in 2005. Later, when I became established in the area as a trusted house cleaner, I started pet sitting for some of my clients and their friends. Sadly, I lost all my clients and contacts save one in the Camp Fire as my client base was in Paradise and Magalia. Since then, I have taken care of my own little furbabies and ever so often cared for the Chihuahua/Pug/Terrier mix of the one remaining client from Paradise. Within the years that I was actively pet sitting, I took care of dogs of all sizes from Chihuahuas to Whippets. I am excited to once again assist you with your pet sitting needs and ensure the best attention is given to your dog’s health, happiness, and well-being! For my clients in Paradise and Magalia, I did both drop ins and overnight stays. (My favorite memory was staying with two little lovely Dachsies for three weeks!) I made sure each pet I took care of was fed as per the instructions given to me and that they had access to fresh, clean water. Whether it’s maintaining a regular meal routine or making sure your pet stays hydrated throughout the day, I prioritize comfort and health for all furbabies in my care. I also have experience administering medications, whether oral or topical, and am dedicated to ensuring your pets specific medical needs are met with precision and care. I know personally the importance of a vet's instructions and the proper maintenance of a consistent medication routine. I also know the importance of exercise in keeping a pet happy and healthy. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll or a more vigorous activity, I am happy to ensure that your pet gets the exercise and playtime they need! Above all, each dog that I have taken care of I have treated as part of my family. I look forward to providing your furbaby with the same love, attention, and care that I have given to my past clients and to my own pets! I am currently working a few hours on the weekends during the day for an In-Home Healthcare client. I am available days and nights during the week, and evenings and nights on weekends. For any pet in my care, whether it has been a client's pet or my own, I have always ensured that they have gotten plenty of love and quality care. For past clients, I adhered to all instructions given pertaining to feeding time, exercise and medications if applicable. I made sure there were plenty of cuddles and that every pet in my care felt safe and secure.

About: I have an understanding of dog psychology and act calm under pressure. Previously, I was the dog trainer at Petsmart for a year and a half. I love dogs very much and care for their success! My main concern is the dog's health, which is why walking them is extremely important. Giving dog's additional exercise other than playing in the back yard is key to releasing their excess energy. Walks also provide new areas to explore which will give them an opportunity to use their smellers and analyze the world. You will be surprised at how tuckered out they become! If you wanted to have your dog work on socialization and make new dog friends, I am more than willing to help your fur baby improve in this area. I am available Tuesday through Saturday mornings for a walk. There is a possibility of opening a window of availability in the afternoons. Let’s talk! I would be most comfortable caring for your dogs in your home. Their environment is key to easing the stress of your absence in their daily routine.

About: I’ve always grown up with dogs and cats and have enjoyed taking care of them from babies to seniors. Family and friends have all separately mentioned how I create a unique bond with their fur babies whether I’ve cared for them or merely visited them over the years. People know in reliable, patient, loving, and don’t mind rolling in the grass along with your pet. I work from home on my own schedule so have plenty of time to drop in and spend with pets and take them for walks. I currently live in a pet friendly apartment and can board cats or dogs if any size and breed if needed. I am attentive to the needs at feeding time, play time, and every time in between.

Throughout the years, I have offered to help, taken care of family and friends' pets, and loved my own pets. My availability is open. I am available to stay overnight and can visit your pets in the early morning ☀️ and late at night 🌙. When handling frightened or shy animals I try to maintain a sense of calm and patience. Give her Access to Clean Water. Give her a Warm and Caring Home. Whenever she needs to Answer Nature's Call she always has a well maintains litter box to go too . About: I grew up here in Northern California with many different loyal pet dogs. After high school I joined the Army and got out of active duty in 2017. Long story short I moved to Alaska with my pet dog from Yuba City where I learned to be a dog musher and she learned to be sled dog. I’ve worked for various different high level sled dog kennels, thousands of different dogs, thousands of hours with dogs, thousands of miles with dogs, and even spent a year working at an Athletic & Longevity Canine Research Facility under the mentorship of some of best veterinarians and scientists. My knowledge and experience in general canine medical care, psychology, and training is advanced. I currently work from home & have a flexible schedule. I open to the special needs & care of your beloved pet from all ages. Each pet is individually unique when it comes to specific pet care, so I will work diligently with owners to best understand their pet. I have 1 spayed female 8 y/o Shepherd/Husky mix who is well tempered, a lead sled dog, well socialized to keep your pet company(friendly with both dogs & cats). I have a dog door that leads to a fenced in backyard. Regularly scheduled feeding, walks, & bathroom breaks.
