“Justin and Vanessa were fabulous with our 2 dogs and cat. They made them feel loved and cared for while we were out of town. Not only that but kept us updated each day on how they were doing, how the house was. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a pet sitter! Thank you so much!”
3. Gavina A.
“It is nice to know that when we are away, our animals are well cared for. We have worked with Gavina twice so far and she has exceeded our expectations each time. Her pictures and notes are so helpful, and she ticked all the items on the list we left. We have already scheduled her for another out-of-town trip.”

About: I have taken care of dogs for a few years now. Friends, Family, and neighbors rely on me for their dog needs. I have two male husky dogs of my own. I’m currently working 8:30-5:30 with an hour lunch, but will make time to play/walk your pups! M-F before 7am & after 6pm Weekends after 1 I have a fenced yard and two friendly male huskys. I have extra crates if your dog needs to be crated. I love going on walk with my dogs daily.
8. Kaylee M.
“I’ve known Kaylee for a while now and she does a great job handling both dogs and cats! One thing I like about her is that she is fit and is capable of running around and tiring out pets for extended amounts of time. I think this is great as high energy dogs can lead to boredom and reactivity. Knowing that she is doing school makes me feel safer as she is picking up and applying knowledge to current situations.”
9. Marcela C.
“The dogs hardly missed us. Marcella communicated with us daily. My son's rescue dog was a problem, but we worked it out. I recommend using Marcella.”
10. Rosa H.
“Rose is super rad. Honestly one of the best dog sitters I have ever had on Rover. She is super responsive and flexible with her schedule.”

About: I've had the pleasure of loving and taking care of furbabies of all sizes for 20 years. I first started pet sitting for an acquaintance in 2005. Later, when I became established in the area as a trusted house cleaner, I started pet sitting for some of my clients and their friends. Sadly, I lost all my clients and contacts save one in the Camp Fire as my client base was in Paradise and Magalia. Since then, I have taken care of my own little furbabies and ever so often cared for the Chihuahua/Pug/Terrier mix of the one remaining client from Paradise. Within the years that I was actively pet sitting, I took care of dogs of all sizes from Chihuahuas to Whippets. I am excited to once again assist you with your pet sitting needs and ensure the best attention is given to your dog’s health, happiness, and well-being! For my clients in Paradise and Magalia, I did both drop ins and overnight stays. (My favorite memory was staying with two little lovely Dachsies for three weeks!) I made sure each pet I took care of was fed as per the instructions given to me and that they had access to fresh, clean water. Whether it’s maintaining a regular meal routine or making sure your pet stays hydrated throughout the day, I prioritize comfort and health for all furbabies in my care. I also have experience administering medications, whether oral or topical, and am dedicated to ensuring your pets specific medical needs are met with precision and care. I know personally the importance of a vet's instructions and the proper maintenance of a consistent medication routine. I also know the importance of exercise in keeping a pet happy and healthy. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll or a more vigorous activity, I am happy to ensure that your pet gets the exercise and playtime they need! Above all, each dog that I have taken care of I have treated as part of my family. I look forward to providing your furbaby with the same love, attention, and care that I have given to my past clients and to my own pets! I am currently working a few hours on the weekends during the day for an In-Home Healthcare client. I am available days and nights during the week, and evenings and nights on weekends. For any pet in my care, whether it has been a client's pet or my own, I have always ensured that they have gotten plenty of love and quality care. For past clients, I adhered to all instructions given pertaining to feeding time, exercise and medications if applicable. I made sure there were plenty of cuddles and that every pet in my care felt safe and secure.
12. Jessica H.
“Jessica is so awesome with our puppy Bucket! He loves playing and going for walks with her and her pup, Oreo. She is punctual, reliable, and gives our boy all the love and care he needs when we are at work. We highly recommend her.”

About: Besides me taking care of animals throughout my life, im also a volunteer at PetCo, my Community College's non profit organization on feral cats (Campus Cats of Yuba College), and Homward Bound Golden Retriever Rescue. I can only visit or stay at their house as we have been fostering a new dog. My services are the same though as I could easily care for your pet. We care for our pets very well, so I would be more than willing to do the same for your pet as needed. They would still be happy even if they can't come to my house.
14. Lexington D.
About: Hello, I am lexington a recent college graduate and I am trying to save money to go to vet school as well as get experience with different dogs or animals. I have experience with giving dogs shots and where to place the different kinds of shots on the dog or cat. I have worked with many different breeds at the butte humane society. I started out going twice a week to 3 times weeks for 6 hours weekly just to walk dogs and hang out with cats. I got up to 108 hours for a unit course which was cool. I have also helped with wags and whiskers events such as moving the dogs to the pen area so they could get adopted. I have also grown up with animals my whole life, since my first animal was when I was two and he was a black cat named mine. I can walk Tuesday nights, Thursday nights and Sunday nights. I have school so my availability is very short at the moment. Might change later on I can feed them, clean litter boxes, play with the animal, I can also lay with the animal while watching tv with them. I can do heavy lifting if needed.

20. Gretchen K.
“This was my first time using Rover and I was so happy with my choice of Gretchen as my pet sitter. She did drop-in visits for 6 days with my kitties and was great with communication about the visits and sending pictures. She gave them fresh food and water and a little play time/snuggle time, and did the litter scooping/changing. She also brought in the mail and watered the plants for me. She was also very easy to communicate with in advance of the sitting. My kitties were happy to see me when I got back, but did not seem at all stressed from the experience. I will definitely use Gretchen again the next time I need a pet sitter!”
