I currently have had a wonderful cat named Latte for 6 years and I couldn't live without her. I am available during the day to walk your dog or take it to play at a dog park, or check in on your cat and give it plenty of love, food, and attention. I make sure the pets I look after are cared for like my own, and their safety, comfort, and security are a top concern of mine.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and truly can’t imagine a home without them. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, birds, fish (both saltwater and freshwater), and small mammals as I’ve had all of them as pets or taken care of my friend's. As a teenager, I worked at a local kennel, gaining valuable experience with feeding routines, cleaning, and handling animals of all temperaments. I’ve also trained my own dogs, earning several first-place ribbons in competitions. I’m attentive, patient, and genuinely passionate about animal care—whether it’s a walk around the block or providing loving companionship while you’re away! I am also experienced in giving subcutaneous fluids and administering all kinds of medications from shots to pills I currently work weekdays from 2-8:30pm along with some weekends, but weekends I am off by 3pm. I also have periods of time where I don’t work for a couple of weeks here and there. I can come morning, afternoon, and night any day I am willing to bring a small animal into my home as long as they are ok with another large dog and small cat who are very friendly. I do not have a yard, but walks are given multiple times a day and I have a decent sized 2 story townhome with dog parks and turn outs close by. If I am to go to your home, I can do anything and everything. I have experience with giving fluids to cats and dogs for health issues and administering all kinds of medication

I had already scheduled a sitter who was a great fit for us but wasn’t comfortable with giving my girl fluids. Anyway, Sarah to the rescue! My cats are indoor-only, and my dog enjoys a large backyard for play. Due to my cats' territorial nature, it might be challenging to accommodate other animals in my home.

About: Hello! My name is Karissa and I am a big animal lover. I've had dogs and cats my whole life, and have always enjoyed spending time with and caring for them. I have trained and competed in agility with my Australian shepherds, and I have worked with and trained dogs of all ages. I have also cared for and loved many cats (both my own and for clients and friends). When I played varsity polo for Virginia Tech, my team was charge of all aspects of care for our 16 horses during the school year. I have ridden and cared for over 100 horses since I was young. Through these experiences, I have administered medications, handled behavioral issues, fed a variety of foods, and cared for and diagnosed illnesses and injuries. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, cared for, and loved while their favorite people are away. Your pet should feel like they are on vacation too! I am available and excited to care for your pets on any schedule that works best for them! My schedule is quite flexible right now. Because I offer care in your home, I strive to ensure that you and your pets feel safe, respected, and cared for. I emphasize safety, privacy, cleanliness, and happy animals. Especially with the temporary change in caregiver, I believe it is extremely important to maintain the routine your pets are used to while you are away, with maybe a couple extra treats (with permission, of course) :) Above all, I adhere to the care rules and instructions given to me, because you know your pets better than anyone.

“She took good care of all of our dogs, was a bit more expensive then kenneling the pups but it was well worth it. Dogs are happy and seemed to not miss a beat. Hannah communicated well with me throughout the visits and even let me know that she would be a bit late. I would recommend her for others that don’t want to take the dogs out to a kennel service. I would use her again, without hesitation.”
