Communication was excellent — she shared regular updates and sent us genuinely fun photos that we loved getting throughout the trip. When we hit an unexpected schedule change, Kat was completely accommodating and made it a non-issue. The house was just as clean as we left it. She followed everything we asked, from the litter box routine to stripping the bed before we got back. Most importantly, Peanut was visibly happy and well-adjusted when we returned — you can always tell when a sitter has actually engaged with your pet, and she clearly had. I don’t allow her around any dogs and she is always kept away in a separate room until the dog has left. When walking, adventuring out is essential to broadening a dogs territory and decreasing the occurrence of aggression. Right now I help take care of 3 dogs who have been or are still working for Guide Dogs for the Blind. I have multiple days a week free and would like to take care of more animals. About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and truly can’t imagine a home without them. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, birds, fish (both saltwater and freshwater), and small mammals as I’ve had all of them as pets or taken care of my friend's. As a teenager, I worked at a local kennel, gaining valuable experience with feeding routines, cleaning, and handling animals of all temperaments. I’ve also trained my own dogs, earning several first-place ribbons in competitions. I’m attentive, patient, and genuinely passionate about animal care—whether it’s a walk around the block or providing loving companionship while you’re away! I am also experienced in giving subcutaneous fluids and administering all kinds of medications from shots to pills I currently work weekdays from 2-8:30pm along with some weekends, but weekends I am off by 3pm. I also have periods of time where I don’t work for a couple of weeks here and there. I can come morning, afternoon, and night any day I am willing to bring a small animal into my home as long as they are ok with another large dog and small cat who are very friendly. I do not have a yard, but walks are given multiple times a day and I have a decent sized 2 story townhome with dog parks and turn outs close by. If I am to go to your home, I can do anything and everything. I have experience with giving fluids to cats and dogs for health issues and administering all kinds of medication

“Our Luna girl stayed with Adam and Julie for over a week and this was herfirst stay with them. We did do a meet and greet a couple months before the actual stay so we had an idea if Luna liked Adam and Julie. Luna is normally a fairly reactive young puppy like adolescent with frequent barking and lungeing at people and dogs that distress her which can be many people and dogs. We went to their home for the meet and greet and Luna was fairly comfortable with Adam and Julie right off the bat. That was definitely a good sign. Two months later and Luna now 2 months older and more mellow has her stay with Adam and Julie. We picked Luna up after our trip and she was happy, playful, and reacted like she had a good stay. Julie and Adam gave us a full report and it seems everything went well. We got a daily picture of Luna sent via text which made us very happy to connect with her. Thanks to Adam and Julie for taking good care of our girl while we were on vacation.”
