About: I am the current owner of a loving and playful 3-year-old chihuahua/pitbull mix that I adopted from the SPCA when she was only 6 months (see profile pictures). I have taken care of many kinds of dogs since I was 18 years old, dealing with a wide variety of personalities (some timid, shy, and some with anxiety issues). I have trained multiple dogs on various tricks (paw shakes, dancing, and jumping through hoops). I have taken care of puppies, kittens, and mid-aged dogs. I am also familiar with taking care of cats and would love to spoil them with treats. I would love the opportunity to walk your dog (or cat) or do a drop in visit to make sure your beloved pets are well taken care of.

“Last time we went away, we used a non-professional catsitter who , due to a family emergency, was only able to visit once in 4 days. This time, we loved getting photos of our cat weaving her way between Em's legs, nuzzling her face, etc. during twice-a-day visits. We were so glad to know that our kitty was fed and watered and that she had used her litterbox and it was not filthy (the rest of the house was quite dirty and messy, and we are very sorry about that and grateful that our catsitter fulfilled her obligation despite that). About: I am and have always been an extremely passionate animal lover! I have been sitting for rover for a little over a year now, and I absolutely love it. I was also raised with 3 dogs and 2 cats in my home who are my pride and joy and my best friends! I am able to provide senior care as well as care for young puppies! About: I have been watching my sisters and neighbors fur babies for years. They rely on me when they travel for work or go on vacation. I have watched multiple cats and dogs as well as administered a hydration IV for a senior cat. I am loving and kind and will treat your fur babies like my own. I have a tuxedo kitty named Tucker and an Australian Shepherd named Harley, I will always make time for playtime and extra snuggles and pets. I’m currently not working so my schedule is very flexible and open. I can come at a time that is best for you. If you need a consistent schedule, I am able to do that. Our dog Harley is crated trained and plays indoors and outdoors in our fenced backyard.. She is walked on a leash daily and I check for ticks and foxtails after each walk. I completely puppy proofed the house when we adopted her. Tucker is an indoor cat and I keep up on his brushing to reduce his fur balls. I put his feather wand up high when I’m not at home so it’s safer for him. I play with him every day with the feather wand to get exercise and interaction. I know which flowers are not good for pets so we do not bring those into our home.

About: Hi! I'm Rafi, your local dog nanny. I'm a full-time commuter student at SFSU and a lifelong dog lover looking to help families all over the bay for their pups! I grew up around labs and now have three rescue dogs of my own—a German Shepherd/Lab mix, a Pitbull/Catahoula, and a little Chihuahua mix. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I've been dog walking and pet sitting for family friends since 2018, but things really picked up during COVID when I was recommended to more and more people. Since then, I've practically been a full-time dog nanny! Most recently, I worked with an amazing local dog walking company based in Marin, but with school starting again, I have decided to branch off and find my own clients. I am willing to drive all over the bay area; my school schedule is flexible and I can easily work around it to be able to care for your pets. I currently work part-time for a San Rafael based non-profit (I'm a counsellor for people on the spectrum, and am on-site 6 hours/day M-F), but have all other hours open to devoting to your pets. I'm able to stay with and care for animals (both short and extended term), and am also available for drop-ins, walks, and hikes. About: We’re a good fit for dogs who are over 1 year old, 15 lbs or more, spayed/neutered, fully potty trained, and happy sleeping solo (no human beds or bedrooms). We don’t accept dogs who require pee pads or bark/whine when we are out of sight. These basics help keep the vacation smooth for everyone. Pick up/drop off: 6:00am - 7:00pm. We live with a wonderful Lab named Lincoln (no current job). We are able to do walks (and runs!) through the Watershed, Deer Park, Headlands and love to take photos. For longer stays, we do field trips (including a secret dog pool in Petaluma 🤫). We try to switch each day up to provide variety. Backyard with plenty of room and recently installed dog run. Fenced from road. Also a hammock should our guest prefer a more leisurely day. ;)

We are glad to say that all our pets get along and live peacefully with one another. I enjoy meeting new fur babies, big or small, chill or playful. I have had experience with a senior dog that has to take daily meds and I am comfortable with post-op care for dogs that have undergone a procedure. I love getting to learn pets’ personalities and participating in activities they enjoy :) I work full-time Mon–Fri until 4 PM and am available to care for pets after 5 PM on weekdays. Weekends are fully open, so I’m available then as well. I’m available for overnights when needed, as long as my daytime work schedule still allows me to provide the care your pet requires. I will care for your pets as if they were my own. I like to make sure I meet your pet at their comfort level and engage with them gently. If your pet is playful and excited, I will match that energy as well with no issue. I will check gates and doors leading outside before any off-leash play. I have a fenced area where I live that I let my own babies run free in on days that are not too hot.
