“This was Kat's first time sitting for our kitten Peanut, and she exceeded our expectations across the board. Communication was excellent — she shared regular updates and sent us genuinely fun photos that we loved getting throughout the trip. When we hit an unexpected schedule change, Kat was completely accommodating and made it a non-issue. The house was just as clean as we left it. She followed everything we asked, from the litter box routine to stripping the bed before we got back. Most importantly, Peanut was visibly happy and well-adjusted when we returned — you can always tell when a sitter has actually engaged with your pet, and she clearly had. Peanut was so comfortable with Kat that we were able to fully relax and enjoy our vacation. We will absolutely have her sit for Peanut again. Highly recommend.”

About: I have been watching my sisters and neighbors fur babies for years. They rely on me when they travel for work or go on vacation. I have watched multiple cats and dogs as well as administered a hydration IV for a senior cat. I am loving and kind and will treat your fur babies like my own. I have a tuxedo kitty named Tucker and an Australian Shepherd named Harley, I will always make time for playtime and extra snuggles and pets. I’m currently not working so my schedule is very flexible and open. I can come at a time that is best for you. If you need a consistent schedule, I am able to do that. Our dog Harley is crated trained and plays indoors and outdoors in our fenced backyard.. She is walked on a leash daily and I check for ticks and foxtails after each walk. I completely puppy proofed the house when we adopted her. Tucker is an indoor cat and I keep up on his brushing to reduce his fur balls. I put his feather wand up high when I’m not at home so it’s safer for him. I play with him every day with the feather wand to get exercise and interaction. I know which flowers are not good for pets so we do not bring those into our home.

About: I grew up with my Australian Shepherd, who was part of my family my entire life, and I helped care for her throughout her senior years. I now have my own cat, Emerald, and my family recently welcomed a terrier puppy named Edna. I also have experience caring for friends’ cats, as well as a neighbor’s and family friend’s Chihuahua and a family’s Golden Retriever. I’m comfortable caring for both cats and dogs, including pets with different personalities and energy levels. I’m responsible, patient, and attentive, and I take pride in providing the same loving care I would want for my own pets. I’ll be leaving my medical assistant position as I prepare to start PA school next year, so I’ll have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week, including weekends. I’m able to spend quality time with pets rather than simply stopping by, and I’m happy to work around their individual routines and needs. I’m excited to use this time before PA school doing something I genuinely love! I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ll follow their normal routines for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs, while also keeping your home clean and secure. About: I've cared for my family's dogs and cats since I was a teenager. I can handle dogs that pull and bark on the street, including big ones. I have experience walking up to three dogs at a time. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully and prioritize a safe, enjoyable walk for their dogs. I'm allergic to cats, but I can do a short visit for feeding and other necessary care. I’m currently a part-time student with a flexible schedule. I’m happy to coordinate walks and drop-in visits around your pet’s routine and needs. I follow your instructions closely and respect your home. Before walks, I check that your dog’s leash and harness are secure and keep them leashed throughout the walk. During visits, I keep doors and gates closed, refresh water as instructed, and provide calm, attentive care for your pet. I’ll send photo updates and contact you promptly if I notice any concerns.

About: I've spent the bulk of my life caring for animals (dogs, cats, small mammals, and even horses). Much of my experience has involved anxious and/or reactive dogs, who often do best with a calm environment and a consistent routine. I pay close attention to body language and changes in behavior so I can respond before a dog becomes more stressed. I have also cared for rescue dogs whose backgrounds required patience and careful handling. That experience has taught me to notice stress signals that can be easy to miss, and to avoid pushing a dog beyond its comfort level. I follow the routines owners provide rather than changing what the dog is used to. I'm comfortable following medication instructions and specific feeding routines. I can also care for households with multiple pets (big or small, old or young). My goal is to keep each pet’s daily life as familiar as possible while the owner is away, so the pet can remain comfortable and secure in its normal environment. I’m currently in graduate school with a highly flexible schedule, which allows me to prioritize the pets in my care. I keep my Rover calendar carefully updated and limit bookings so each pet receives attentive, individualized care. When I am house-sitting or doing drop-in visits, I treat your home with the same care and discretion as I would my own.

About: I’ve always had an interest in animals. In high school I worked at a vet grooming establishment. I’ve worked at PETCO dog grooming. I’ve house sat and walked dogs on a daily basis for my sisters two rescue dogs for the last few years. I have taken them to the vet, given them medication, bathed and groomed them. We have gone on little excursions to Fort Funston, as well as the dog park. I enjoy taking care of them so much. They bring me so much joy. ** Willing to host dog or cat siblings. I live very near to Ocean Beach and look forward to taking dogs for long walks there! I’m hoping to make this my full-time job so I’m open for any availability.
