About: I’ve always had a really special place in my heart for animals and feel naturally comfortable around them. My family has dogs that I help care for, and I’ve also spent a lot of time looking after dogs for friends, family, and neighbors. I also have two cats that I love dearly, so I’m very comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality, whether they’re playful, shy, energetic, or just want a calm companion. I’m patient and attentive and treat every pet like they’re my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away Pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I’m currently working part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time throughout the day to dedicate to the pets I’m caring for. I’m able to plan my days around walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and check-ins so each pet gets the attention they deserve. I also enjoy being outdoors and going for walks, so spending that time with dogs feels like a really natural and enjoyable part of my day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow any instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and plenty of playtime and attention. I also make sure pets feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away by giving them companionship and keeping their environment clean and calm. If I’m caring for a pet in my home, I provide a safe, comfortable space, regular walks, and lots of love and supervision so they feel right at home. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so owners can feel at ease knowing their pet is well cared for.

“Last time we went away, we used a non-professional catsitter who , due to a family emergency, was only able to visit once in 4 days. This time, we loved getting photos of our cat weaving her way between Em's legs, nuzzling her face, etc. during twice-a-day visits. We were so glad to know that our kitty was fed and watered and that she had used her litterbox and it was not filthy (the rest of the house was quite dirty and messy, and we are very sorry about that and grateful that our catsitter fulfilled her obligation despite that). About: To ensure your pet receives individualized attention, we host only one dog at a time. We’re a good fit for dogs who are over 1 year old, 15 lbs or more, spayed/neutered, fully potty trained, and happy sleeping solo (no human beds or bedrooms). These basics help keep the vacation smooth for everyone. Pick up/drop off: 6:00am - 7:00pm. We live with a wonderful Lab named Lincoln (no current job). We are able to do walks (and runs!) through the Watershed, Deer Park, Headlands and love to take photos. For longer stays, we do field trips (including a secret dog pool in Petaluma 🤫). We try to switch each day up to provide variety. Backyard with plenty of room and recently installed dog run. Fenced from road. Also a hammock should our guest prefer a more leisurely day. ;)

About: I understand what it’s like to leave your pet alone with a stranger and I will make sure it is as if you never left! I have owned many different types of pets myself including dogs, cats, rabbits, and Guinea pigs. Animals seem to naturally gravitate towards me and I genuinely enjoy spending my time with animals. I am experienced with puppies as well as elderly dogs. I love showing families pics and videos of their pets while they’re gone to keep them updated! I am available weekday afternoons and some weekends. Monday, Wed, Friday after 3pm and T Th at 5pm. On weekends, I just need a 3 day heads up! I like to make sure the pet feels loved and safe first and foremost and I make sure to keep great communication with the client! I am very adamant on making sure all the necessary tasks are completed as well.

She was happy to learn how, came ahead of time to be trained, and then performed Mamacat's whole daily routine smoothly without problems. She reached out when she had questions, sent updates, and overall was very responsive to my lengthy instructions. About: I wanted to be a vet... I had many dogs and cats over the years, in different countries - I love animals, their unconditional love and communicative silence (or not, right Warren!) I very much would like a pet again but where I live pets are not allowed, so I get my treat by enjoying your pet! I work remotely, so my schedule is flexible. I like taking a walk in the morning after feeding, usually a longer adventure of 1-2 hrs, maybe to the beach! Then another, shorter walk in the late afternoon before feeding, if there is a 2nd meal. And of course going for a quick round before bed. I'm always attentive to the body-language/need of an indoor pet, watching the signs they may want to go out. I request vet and safety information from the owner, including dietary restrictions, and will stick to the animal's routine of feed time and walk. Less stress is better!

About: I am and have always been an extremely passionate animal lover! I have been sitting for rover for a little over a year now, and I absolutely love it. I was also raised with 3 dogs and 2 cats in my home who are my pride and joy and my best friends! I am able to provide senior care as well as care for young puppies! I’m currently a student at College of Marin. I have a few classes each day but for the most part I have a pretty flexible schedule and am able to spend most of my time caring for your animals! I’m am flexible to your needs the needs of your pet. About: I’ve cared for dogs in a wide range of situations, including senior dogs, special-needs pups, and dogs recovering from injuries. I’m comfortable with the extra structure and patience they often need. I’m also careful and consistent with medications, and I follow detailed feeding instructions exactly, including timing, special diets, and any restrictions. What I’m especially good at is communication. I pay close attention to a dog’s eyes, ears, posture, and energy, because they tell you so much before they ever make a sound. I notice when a dog is unsure, overstimulated, tired, or asking for space, and I adjust right away, slowing down, giving them time, offering reassurance, or keeping things calm and predictable. I also use a gentle “dog voice” (yes, the sweet baby-talk voice) and clear, steady cues, because many dogs respond quickly to warmth, tone, and consistency. Even anxious or shy dogs usually soften when they realize they’re being understood. I’ve also cared for large dogs, and my Labrador retriever loves having big buddies to play with. No matter the size, age, or temperament, I’m respectful of each dog’s individual needs and I make sure they feel safe, seen, and truly cared for with plenty of affection, attention, and patience. I currently work from home, and I have a (mostly) flexible schedule. I like to get out with my dog two times a day for 2+ mile walks on local trails and parks. I respect people's spaces, and I am good at following detailed instructions for homes and their pets. I have references and happy clients to tell you about it!

About: I have 20 years experience with bully breeds, and all the health issues that entails, but I’m open to sitting any breed (they are all good dogs!). I live at the beach, so your pup will get long beach walks and/or mountain trail hikes during the day, then sleepy downtime at night. It’s a pet paradise! Your dog will enjoy morning beach walks or trail hikes, or walks in a stroller if your pet has mobility issues. Daylight hours are spent being active, and evenings are resto-relaxo. I have a fenced and private front and backyard with fake grass for your pet to use. No stairs to navigate - single level home a block from the ocean. Just tell me your dogs energy level and exercise needs, and I’ll create the perfect doggy vacation!

About: I have volunteered at Humane Societies with all kinds of pets because animals are my passion, and have had pets for almost 30 years. I currently have had a wonderful cat named Latte for 6 years and I couldn't live without her. I am available during the day to walk your dog or take it to play at a dog park, or check in on your cat and give it plenty of love, food, and attention. I make sure the pets I look after are cared for like my own, and their safety, comfort, and security are a top concern of mine.
