“Kat was everything you would want in a petsitter. She was responsible, communicative, capable, loved my elderly cat, and took great care of her. Mamacat was very content and peaceful when I arrived home, and the house was clean and well taken care of. Kat was used to giving oral medications, but had never done insulin injections before. She was happy to learn how, came ahead of time to be trained, and then performed Mamacat's whole daily routine smoothly without problems. She reached out when she had questions, sent updates, and overall was very responsive to my lengthy instructions. I felt Mamacat was in very capable and responsible hands, and I look forward to having Kat sit for my precious kitty again anytime. I highly recommend her!”
“Martha was great! George felt comfortable with her—and he’s not necessarily a cat who feels comfortable with strangers all that quickly — and she was extremely communicative with me while I was away.”

“We really appreciate Elena watching our cat for us while we were camping. We felt completely at ease knowing she was there. She was quick to update us when she got there and how it went when we returned. Have already rebooked her for next month!”

About: I wanted to be a vet... I had many dogs and cats over the years, in different countries - I love animals, their unconditional love and communicative silence (or not, right Warren!) I very much would like a pet again but where I live pets are not allowed, so I get my treat by enjoying your pet! I work remotely, so my schedule is flexible. I like taking a walk in the morning after feeding, usually a longer adventure of 1-2 hrs, maybe to the beach! Then another, shorter walk in the late afternoon before feeding, if there is a 2nd meal. And of course going for a quick round before bed. I'm always attentive to the body-language/need of an indoor pet, watching the signs they may want to go out. I request vet and safety information from the owner, including dietary restrictions, and will stick to the animal's routine of feed time and walk. Less stress is better!
About: To ensure your pet receives individualized attention, we host only one dog at a time. We’re a good fit for dogs who are over 1 year old, 15 lbs or more, spayed/neutered, fully potty trained, and happy sleeping solo (no human beds or bedrooms). These basics help keep the vacation smooth for everyone. Pick up/drop off: 6:00am - 7:00pm. We live with a wonderful Lab named Lincoln (no current job). We are able to do walks (and runs!) through the Watershed, Deer Park, Headlands and love to take photos. For longer stays, we do field trips (including a secret dog pool in Petaluma 🤫). We try to switch each day up to provide variety. Backyard with plenty of room and recently installed dog run. Fenced from road. Also a hammock should our guest prefer a more leisurely day. ;)
“Cora was a total lifesaver for our post-op recovering kitty. Flexible, knowledge and clearly experienced. Was able to jump right in and provide high level of kitty care. Highly recommend!”

About: I spend time with my friend's dogs just for fun. I have been taking care of animals most of my life. Animals inherently trust me, and I just completely adore them. I am active, love running with dogs, love playing with them, and love cuddling them. About: I have been house and pet sitting for over 10 years from young puppies to senior cats. I mainly do it for extra income and for family, friends and referrals. I love learning about your pet's personality and quirks! I am currently in-between jobs so I have extreme flexibility. I often take dogs for walks while their owners are at work. I love going for hikes and to the beach. However, I always tailor my services to the owner and pet’s preference. I often both pet and housesit when owners will be out of town. My flexibility, kindness, cleanliness and communicative nature has built trust with my clients over the years. I respect house rules and make your pet the priority. I know your home is your safe space, and that’s why before I leave your home I make sure everything is exactly how you left it so that you can come home and immediately relax. I’ve been told by clients things like “our home is cleaner than how we left it” and “it doesn’t even seem like you lived here for a day, let alone 2 weeks!”
