3. Dessie V.
About: Hello everyone! My name is Dessie, and I am thrilled to introduce myself to you! With over 10 years of experience working with pets, I’ve cultivated a deep passion for their care and well-being. My career has taken me through various avenues, including working at dog boarding facilities, spending a year at Petco, and dedicating over five years to the dog walking app, Wag!. Currently, I am the proud owner of my own dog business, Dessie’s Delightful Dogs. Here, I offer a range of services designed to make both dogs and their owners happy. From puppy classes and group dog hikes to dog grooming, my goal is to provide a fun and enriching environment for your furry friends. Due to numerous requests for dog boarding, I am excited to announce that I am now opening my home to board dogs! To ensure personal attention, I am accepting only one family at a time and no more than two dogs from the same household. This way, I can focus on providing the best care possible. It’s also important to note that I have my own dogs and cats, so as long as your pup is friendly with other animals, they are more than welcome to stay with us! I am usually home throughout the day, as I run my dog grooming business from my residence, ensuring that your beloved pets receive all the love and attention they deserve. Thank you for considering Dessie’s Delightful Dogs for your pet’s needs. If you have any questions or would like to discuss boarding arrangements, please feel free to reach out. I look forward to meeting you and your furry companions! I work from home that or I’m out with dogs going hiking, beach days, dog parks! So If your looking for someone that won’t be gone for more then and hour or two you’ve come to the right place! My home is fully fenced with two separate yards so if your dog wants to be out by themselfs or just with a buddy (my own dogs) then that’s what happens. When inside your dog gets to free roam and sit on the 8+ foam dog beds or cots that I have. I have crates that are open all the time for dogs that like more covered environments
4. Kathia C.
“Kathia was a great match for my little boy Rocky! We received lots of pictures and videos and Rocky looked like he was having a great time. Kathia was very responsive, and she got back to us immediately when we had questions. I would recommend Kathia to anyone as she enjoys animals, and is very trustworthy and responsible.”
5. Susan A.
About: I have extensive experience sitting, walking, and playing with dogs — from my neighbors and friends, to my own. I have cared for and/or fostered all types: puppies, seniors, big, small, and even disabled (such as blind, and amputee). I understand that every dog is different and I approach meeting every new dog with patience, understanding, and compassion. I believe all dogs are good dogs and I would be so honored to meet yours! I am currently caregiving for pets full-time so I have ample time to walk, play, and hangout with your pets — especially on weekends. I offer quite a bit of flexibility and would love to work with you on your care needs. If you’re looking for someone with a mostly fenced-in yard surrounded by trees and far from any paved or busy roads, I am your person! I have a dog of my own who loves company and can either hangout with yours or be crated away if yours isn’t interested in making new friends. I have ample space to create many degrees of separation as needed!
6. Jenny C.
“Jenny is great. Our pup (who’s extremely energetic) always comes back pooped out. Our older pup is less energetic and Jenny seems to always hit the sweet spot for him too.”
7. Justine R.
“Justine used to walk my Great Dane and I cannot recommend her highly enough! She is such a sweet and committed person who always has the best interest of the dogs entrusted to her at heart. Her understanding of canine behavior also allowed her to facilitate my dog's interactions with other humans and dogs. My dog's happiness and health were a testament to Justine's competence and commitment. She is such a treat to work with!”
8. Mario J.
“I have used Mario on several occasions both while we were traveling and as a dog walker. He is totally trustworthy and has stayed in our house for weeks at a time while we were travelling. We returned to a neat house and a happy dog. When he dog walks for us he turns up on time and is in tune with the dog’ exercise needs. Mario is a runner so is also perfect for high energy dogs as he can give them a more intense workout if required. I would highly recommend him to take care of any pets.”
9. Celestine V.
“Celeste took great care of our 2 very spoiled pugs while we went on vacation! She followed our instructions, stuck to our feeding and walking schedule, but most important loved them like they were her own! Celeste is a very trustworthy person. We had no issues and highly recommend her. Loved the pictures she sent us to reassure us they were okay without us. Your dogs will love her!”
10. Anna B.
“What a lovely place to bring your pet! It's like a bed and breakfast retreat for dogs. Private, quiet and safe. For those pooches that like to sniff and explore, the enclosed yard area is the perfect setting. If you feel like going for a walk, there's a nice trail close by.”
11. Juan D.
“Juan took care of my two cats, fed them twice a day and kept them entertained for about two weeks. One of my cats is a tricky eater and when I came back I was glad to see he hadn't lost weight and they both seemed liked they liked Juan (the good eater is generally people averse). He did will and was consistent, reliable, and communicated well.”
12. Ivonne F.
“Looking for someone who truly loves doggos? Someone whose own dog is constantly complimented for her calm, well-behaved demeanor? A person who considers her dog her baby and whose most favorite thing is seeing other doggos out and about? Ivonne is definitely passionate about our four-legged friends...and she will take the BEST care of any dog fortunate enough to make her aquaintance!”
13. Anne-Christina M.
“Christina is a great sitter, highly recommended! She took great care of my cat who has extra medication needs and is particularly difficult about taking it. I was very stressed leaving my cat for a few days when she was sick, but the care my cat received from Christina while I was away helped a lot to alleviate that. She has excellent communication, got along well with a very shy cat, and was willing to work her schedule around to make sure she could visit my cat twice a day for meds. She even followed up after to check in on her.”
14. Tor T.
“Tor is a huge animal lover. I could tell from the first meeting that my dog was going to have a great time with him. This left me feeling so comfortable and stress free as it was my first time leaving my dog and she is special needs and requires daily medication. I took a week long trip and I was receiving daily pictures and videos of my pup reassuring me she was well cared for and was having fun :) I would highly recommend Tor as a dog sitter!”
15. Cynthia G.
“We always feel fortunate and grateful when Cynthia is available to stay with our three year old Golden Retriever when we go away. Cynthia has looked after our dog, Winnie, several times in the last 2+ years, often for more than a week at a time. We have found her to be highly conscientious, loving toward Winnie and communicative with us. Cynthia knows dogs well and has even done a some leash training with Winnie. Cynthia is always great about making sure that Winnie safely gets enough exercise. The two of them are always clearly attached when we arrive home, and the house is always neat and clean!”
16. Clair A.
“Clair is the best! Trusting someone with our baby has been tough, and she makes us all feel comfortable every step of the way. She also pays attention to important details and is flexible and reliable.”
17. Olivia G.
“Olivia is amazing, with dogs and people! We were visiting Inverness and needed someone to watch our little one while we went sightseeing. Olivia is responsible, skilled, good communicator, and an overall nice person. We can’t recommend her highly enough. Thank you, Olivia, for making our trip extra special.”
18. Angy S.
About: We always had pets since I was little. My neighbors always wanted me to babysit and they knew that I love animals. Today I have chiquilin a Pomeranian mix that is only 1 year and we love him. I’m currently not working right now I’m a stay home mom and I wanted to do something that I love. I couldn’t find anything that I love and so I came across this and want it to give chance. I will definitely take care of them like my own and I would always ask if I need to know anything about the dogs or something that I have to be careful with to make them feel also comfortable not just me and I will always provide pictures because if it was my pad, I want to see them and then just been text.
19. Jenna G.
“Jenna is a very responsible pet owner. She has cared for many animals in her life time. She currently has two small dogs that have been with her for about 10 years now and they just adore her.”
20. Katherine A.
“Katherine was wonderful and did such a great job with the drop in visits with my dog. She took photos every day and Akela seemed happy. Thanks so much!”
