About: I grew up with many animals in our household from dogs, cats, turtles, birds, fish, and bunnies and always had a unique connection to them. I have an innate empathetic understanding with them. I have experience with training younger dogs, as well as taking care of elderly dogs. I have experience providing necessary medication if needed, as well as lots of love and snuggles and adventurous hikes or leisurely walks for elderly animals. Currently I have a cat and would love to have another dog but for now getting to take care of other people's dogs or cats would satisfy my desire to be around lots of animals. I am currently a full-time student and I work remotely online so my schedule is flexible and I can work from anywhere. I would prefer to watch dogs and cats in your home. I like to communicate with the owner of the pet and get a clear understanding if there is a particular feeding or walk schedule, as well as if medications are required, or crate preferences. I am happy to send a photo of your animal baby each day if you like daily check ups. I love communication so trust and understanding are developed between myself and the owner.

About: I'm a responsible animal lover in my mid 30s. I grew up with cats, but have always loved dogs too! In addition to pet sitting with Rover, I have experience caring for the dogs, cats, and reptiles of friends and family members. My animal-loving partner also likes to join sometimes and get in on the pet cuddles and walks if that is ok with you. I'm an environmental scientist, work from home, and have a flexible schedule, so I am available to spend lots of time at your home with your pet! I'm very respectful of other people's spaces and will make sure to keep your home clean and safe while you are away. I enjoy jogging and going on long walks, especially with dogs! When caring for pets in their own home, I follow your instructions carefully to stick to your pet’s normal routine. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, get the right amount of exercise, and have clean water and a tidy space. I also take time for play, affection, or just quiet companionship! Whatever your pet is most comfortable with. I’m respectful of your home, keep everything clean and organized, and always provide updates so you know your pet is doing great while you’re away.

About: I’m very patient and understanding. I’m happy contributing to a dogs health and well-being. I have baby sitting skills, from little babies to seniors citizens. I’m currently in between jobs, so my schedule is open to provide care for any customer in need of assistance for the cherished animal companions. I have a fenced front and back yard. I have different areas for food for cat and dogs. I shower my pets every two weeks.

About: I am a dog lover and fiber artist who works from our currently petless home. Our beloved Chu-chan (who I often used as a model for my tapestries) passed a few years ago. My high school teacher husband, Dennis, and I miss her lots and would be happy to care for your dear house trained over 2 year old pup while you are away. Doggies must be up to date on their shots, on a flea prevention regimen, NOT use 'pee pads' inside the house, wear dog tags (whether or not they have a chip), and, especially, be able to sleep on their own in the living room. We prefer dogs under 40 pounds but larger, mellow dogs might also be workable. Pup can hang with me as I weave in my studio or have free rein of the fenced back yard. I'm happy to take breaks during the day for puppy walks. We are conveniently located in Walnut Creek near the Iron Horse Trail and can walk or drive to the Heather Farm Dog Park. Various open space trails are also a short drive away. Currently we do not have any animals living with us- just my husband and I- and are happy to host yours. Our fee, before Rover's add-on charges, per 24 hrs. is $50 ($60 holidays) if your dog can be with other dogs- we like to have 2 to 3 dogs at a time. Please be aware that Rover does add additional fees- the number you see listed on the site is the total per day fee. If your pup does not get on well with other dogs and needs to be the only 4 legger around the fee is $150 per 24 hours if we can accommodate you. In addition to overnight boarding we accept dogs for daycare in our home. For daycare during the daytime our fee is $45 or $50 during holidays- again, Rover tacks fees on so check to total price on the website. Please identify any food bowls you bring with your dog's name on them and know that we don't guarantee that any toys you bring will not be damaged ;) Please check the calendar for availability as I might be away leading trips to Guatemala to explore the Mayan Textile Culture or in Japan showing my artwork**. I also speak Japanese and Spanish ** Even if the calendar says unavailable please feel free to send an inquiry as we might be able to accomodate you depending on the timing of drop off and pick up. I work from home and am almost always there. Happy to have doggies around when I work and also happy to let them out into the fenced backyard when they desire.
