“Brittany took care of my 2 senior dogs while we were away for 3 days. One of our dogs requires meds 3 times a day, and she is an over reactive dog. Brittany handled a situation with another dog that was off leash very effectively! My dog does not like other dogs, and she picked up my dog to avoid a potentially dangerous situation. Overall she took very good care of their needs, even walking them a couple times a day when she could have just let them in the fenced yard. I would definitely recommend Brittany to watch over your pets and give them the best of care.”

About: I've worked for a dog walking company, wrangled ferrets, and outsmarted wily cats. With nearly a decade of pet sitting experience I'm ready for just about anything your furry friend can throw at me. I'm adept at problem solving and can meet your pet where they need me to be. I have experience administering medication and coaxing the anxious and stubborn out of their shells. I am free most days in the morning and the afternoon if you need a walker quickly. My schedule is flexible and I am willing to work with clients to meet their needs. I will follow any instructions clients give for how much freedom they want their pets to have. I usually like to keep them in sight or in an enclosed area like a fenced in yard when not out on a walk. I like playing and keeping them entertained or sitting quietly together if they're tired. It mostly depends on the energy levels and temperament of each individual.

About: I began doing pet sitting in 2016 for family & friends, and that was most of my sitting experience until I began my dog training certification. Now I’ve been in pet care professionally for two years, and have had my dog trainer certification for half of that. My weeks are based around pet care. I do it full-time and have a customizable schedule based around my various clients & appointments. I have special hours available at request. I make sure to get an exact outline of what is expected/allowed for the pet, and am not shy about requesting elaboration if there’s any confusion on my part. Additionally, I like to do what I can to keep them mentally stimulated with games, activities, and some light obedience training/reinforcement so they can hopefully carry that good behavior over to their daily life.

About: I am a firm believer that our pets are our family, and each individual pet deserves individual care, respect and love! I am meticulous with details and ensure that a beloved pet’s routine is kept as consistent as possible under my care. I’ve owned cats since I was 8yrs old, and also had hermit crabs, Leopard geckos, and tarantulas. My family never had space for a dog, so I walked and played with my neighbors dogs while growing up. Once I reached my 20s, I’ve volunteered for years at no-kill shelters back in TN, trained on how to clean, socialize and care for dogs. I have just moved to Northern Illinois and wasn’t able to transfer my job up here. So I want to make my job caring for your family! I am available Saturday - Wednesday. I am very detail oriented and respect every pet owner’s instructions and wishes to the letter. Pets deserve consistency with their established routines! In the absence of instructions or an emergency, I have years of hands-on pet care to fall back on and use reliable judgement so your pet will always receive the best care possible.

About: Though I don’t have as many years of experience, I’m committed to caring for all fur babies as my own! I have previously cared for new born pups and senior dogs, and I love the joys and challenges each age range brings. Some specific things I’ve helped with are support with potty training, and administering medicine. I am currently working part time, and i’m also a part time student, so most of my availability will be for the weekends! But I will have some midweek availability in the mornings and evenings! I’m a very quick learner and will always do my very best to accommodate even the most specific needs for your pets. I’m very patient, and will strive to make your pets feel as safe and loved as possible! I am a great communicator and can provide updates/pictures as frequently as you require.

Our dogs have seperate medical prescription needs which I provided. She took the extra measure to recap their needs via text after she arrived at our home. She sent me updates and pictures during her stay which put me at ease. She was very conscientious and showed how much she cared for the wellbeing of my dogs. We were very pleased with her service.
