“Eileen was very responsive and willing to help us out on short notice! She accommodated my schedule by having a video chat before helping us out with Walter, which made was feel assured. Eileen promptly arrived at the scheduled time. Even though our dog was a bit of a handful, Eileen was patient and made sure he ate and got a good walk to do his business. I will definitely use Eileen again and I highly recommend her!”

About: I have been around animals my whole life and currently have one dog, three cats (one senior with chronic illnesses/daily meds), four hermit crabs, one ball python, and 10 quail. For in home care, I am able to accommodate up to 2 dogs from the same household. I have a large, pet friendly house and fenced back yard. I’m currently working two jobs, but will work to integrate your pet needs into my schedule. I ensure to meet all pet needs as far as food and potty breaks. At a clients home I like to go over any safety precautions and routines so I can stick to what your pet is familiar with while I’m there.
“Ana was a great help checking in on my cat, Rose, while I was away for the weekend! She did everything I asked her to do and gave great updates. Rose seemed to take to her right away and didn’t hide at all like I had expected!”
“Taelor was amazing. She always made sure our cat was taken of while dropping in and did things without questions (I.e cleaning his litter box, giving him fresh water). Her updates were much appreciated and we’ll definitely be using her in the future”

“Kendall was great with my cats! Normally when we come home from a trip they seem agitated, but after having Kendall check on them they were happy, calm and seemed like they got a mini vacation too. Would highly recommend Kendall to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over six years, and spending so much time around animals has taught me that every pet has a unique personality, routine, and way of communicating. My experience includes caring for dogs both in Colombia and in the U.S., as well as cats, so I’m comfortable with different temperaments and daily care needs. I’m patient, dependable, and always focused on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I know how important it is to trust someone with a member of your family, so I treat every pet with the same kindness, respect, and attention I would expect for my own. Whether it’s sticking to their routine, going on walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company, I’m committed to providing reliable, loving care every visit. Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Okaloosa Island
Rebecca is a natural to calm and give sweet assurance to my kitty. Rebecca is the best. It been two trips I had to take for my job. First trip 16 days gone. I felt completely assured my BeBe was well taken care of. Videos were great to see my kitty interact with Rebecca.

I couldn’t be happier with the care my cats received. From the start, he took the time to help my cats feel comfortable and safe. He genuinely engaged with them, played with them, and paid attention to their individual personalities and needs. The litter was consistently kept clean, and I was really impressed by the sitter’s attention to detail when it came to my cats’ routines and overall well-being. It gave me total peace of mind knowing my cats were not just cared for, but cared about. I would absolutely book them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and compassionate cat sitter.
I know my kitties are in great loving hands when I am out of town! I’m so glad she was available to watch my fluff balls last minute. They look so happy and comfortable in every picture I was sent! Thank you again. I will ask to use her everytime I need a sitter!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
