About: I have been around animals my whole life and currently have one dog, three cats (one senior with chronic illnesses/daily meds), four hermit crabs, one ball python, and 10 quail. In the past, I have cared for fish, snails, horses, rabbits, ferrets, a tarantula, and a variety of birds. I am open to watching animals of all kinds! I am able to provide drop in care any time on the weekends and morning/lunchtime/evening during the work week. I am also able to provide dog boarding in my home. I work Monday-Friday but my office is in the same neighborhood as my house - and is pet friendly! For drop in care, my goal is to provide care that keeps to the pets' regular schedule as much as possible in order to ensure they feel safe and cared for. I am able to medicate cats and dogs. About: Having Dogs around makes my world a better place. After my dog of 17 years, I’m not ready for forever but want to extend my heart to care for others. Vacations were always stressful to find someone so I want to help others to go and not worry. I currently work parttime during week so I have weekends as well as other time available to make sure your dog is well cared for. My house is dog friendly. I have a special gated courtyard for outside time. I even have a hallway that can be gated if needed.

Pepper was also the model for a great drawing from Dakota's daughter, and that drawing now is posted on my refrigerator! During the recent snowstorm, a rarity in this part of Arkansas, Pepper enjoyed the experience with Dakota's family her dogs.Will certainly bring her back for another visit when it's time!”

About: I have taken care and trained canines for decades. As a decades long instructor, I have a developed strong compassionate care attributes that have blended well with my care for furry friends. I am retired and spend most of my time at home or doing activities with my fur child. Taking care of my pet is what I do. I have a fully fenced property with plenty of room to run. I am conscientious and respectful of persons reasonable requests that are unique to their pet.
“Alexandra and crew (people, cats and a dog) were so welcoming that our two aussies were soon happy with their doggie vacation. They had very much built-in play time with the resident dog, and bonded with humans and animals alike in ways we'd not heard of from new contacts since Misty was a puppy (seriously, the pics and descriptions indicated a level of ease, happiness and playfulness we see with them at home). At pick-up time, they were glad to have us visit, but didn't seem completely ready to leave, We cannot imagine a better experience for our pups. If we manage to come to Miramar Beach again, we will definitely try Alexandra again.”

“She was absolutely amazing. Even though she doesn’t have a yard, my puppy got plenty of walks and trips to the dog park. She responded quickly to all of my questions, which I really appreciated. I also forgot to pack a bowl, but she reassured me it was fine and took care of it. She even sent lots of photos and videos of my puppy, which gave me so much peace of mind. When I picked him up, he was excited to see me but also whining because he was leaving them—that really showed me he was treated like family. I would definitely book with her again.”
