âRosie and Jackson stayed with Sheila for day care. I had 2 very tired pups in the evening (and they are still sleeping) and I'm a happy Mom! I received photos and messages from my pups throughout the day how well they were doing. I didn't have to worry about them at all! Pups had Great time!â

About: I've been caring for animals since I was young, and it's always been a big part of my life. I had two cats who lived to be 21 years old, and through them, I gained firsthand experience in caring for senior pets. Over the years, I've also looked after both cats and dogs of all ages, including those with special needs. I regularly help military families take care of their pets while they're away, and friends and relatives often trust me to walk, feed, and care for their furry companions. Providing reliable, loving care is something I truly enjoy. Iâm currently a full-time dog mom, which means Iâm available every day of the week for pet care. My flexible schedule allows me to provide consistent attention, whether it's for walks, feedings, drop-in visits, or just spending quality time with your pets while you're away. Your fur babies will feel right at home here in a safe, welcoming environment. We have a large, fully fenced backyard for plenty of outdoor fun, and my friendly dog is always happy to have a playmate. If your baby prefers a quieter space or needs to be crated, that can easily be arranged. The AC is always on, so long-haired pets will stay cool and comfortable. I treat every pet like part of the family and do everything I can to make sure they feel secure, relaxed, and loved while theyâre here.
âGabriela was amazing. She was very accommodating and eager to abide by all of my quirky dog mom requests. We will definitely be using Gabriela next time we visit Destin for vacation.â

âThis was my first time ever using Rover and Ana made it a very good experience. My 18.5 year old service dog has always been with me but I was visiting in-laws who werenât allowed to have pets visit their rental home. I didnât know what to do, so I searched online and found Rover. Ana was quick to respond and helpful. She took good care of my Sophie for the day and was flexible on our schedule. The home was clean and she was so welcoming.â
About: I've been taking care of animals ever since I was young, from hamsters to fish to dogs and more. I've managed both calm and trouble making animals and have experience dealing with the full age range of pets due to my personal experience as a dog owner, and from my time volunteering as a foster home for dog shelters. I'm currently working part-time, and so I have an incredibly flexible schedule. I'm available for just about hour of day for any period of time. Taking care of animals has been my weekly norm since I was a kid, so it's just what I'm used to. I have a large fenced yard for pets to feel free and roam around, and I've a multitude of my own resources at home such as bowls, crates, and pens to be used as needed. I usually like to give a pet a feel of independence to wander however they'd like throughout the home and yard, but can easily step in if greater supervision is needed. I'm usually always in the same space as my animals.
âNicole was WONDERFUL to deal with! We booked very last minute changed plans 3 times and picked her up early due to plan changes and Nicole was super cool and easy to communicate with the entire time. My pup is very anxious and she went right into Nicoles home like she had been there 100 times. Finding a sitter for Lilah is soooo difficult and stressful with her anxiety and Nicole made it a breeze. She truly was a blessing đâ

I will also monitor their behavior to ensure they are comfortable and have a stress-free environment. I allow my dog to roam freely around the house and to lay on the couch with me. âAnubis loved Margaret! I'm so glad he was able to stay with someone who clearly loves doggies and takes such good care of them. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone.â

âThey did an amazing job and they showed how much they cared by asking questions making sure they would be the right fit for Bruno. To make it even better throughout the night they provided pictures to ease my mind about leaving my baby with them.â

âShe's a truly a nurturing dog person who took care of my dog as her own. I really loved the facilities and set up for my dog. A very open home with a fenced in backyard. After the second day my dog ran to Kylie on her own during drop off. She was a great host and i would repeat dropping my dog, Nancy off again. Thanks again for the professionalism and for my dog's care.â

Okaloosa Island dog parents share their Rover experiences
They took good care of my baby, Perry. We came to Miramar, FL not knowing that you need a permit to bring dogs to the beach- which was the plan to bring Perry to see the beach for the first time- and Andrew & Maria came to the rescue to babysit Perry for a whole day while my husband & I had a beach date. Definitely will contact them again next time we're there.

We couldnât have asked for a better pet sitter during our trip to Destin. Iâll admit that our dog Recon can be a bit moody and sulk when he is not around the family, but this was not the case with Kylie. I could tell he had a great time and was excited to go back the following day. Kylie was flexible with our schedule and had excellent communication. Her place was a great environment for dog sitting. I canât say enough great things about her. My wife and I are incredibly grateful.

Anna was incredible! We booked a last minute vacation to the Destin area and wanted to bring our pup along, but have someone to watch him before and after we checked out of our air bnb! Anna was very responsive and respectful throughout our entire trip and Bear got so excited when he went back for the second day of care. We even had to adjust the times for that day and Anna was incredibly sweet and accommodating throughout our entire experience. We would 100% use her again and recommend her to anyone needing care for their pet in the area!
