“We had a great experience with our Rover sitter, Jeanette! She was able to accommodate a last-minute request, which we really appreciated, and took excellent care of our dog while we were away. She sent regular photos and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind and let us see how happy and well cared for our pup was. Communication was smooth from start to finish, and we felt completely confident leaving our dog in her care. We would absolutely book with Jeanette again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful sitter!”

About: I've always had pets growing up from turtles, fish, ferrets and cats and dogs! I have watched several of my friends and family pets. I am currently working from home 40 hours a week and can host a dog or 2 depending on size for daycare/boarding. I am also available for morning and evening check-ins and walks! I do work from home so your babies can come hang out with me and my puppers during the work day and play out all their energy! I do have a 1.5 yr old golden doodle who loves to play and stays home with me now that I work from home. We love to go on walks or go to the park.
About: Hi, I'm Kayle (pronounced Kay-Lee), but feel free to call me “Kat” both names work for me! I've had a lifelong passion for animals and have been caring for them since childhood. I deeply love my own fur babies and will extend the same level of care and affection to yours. I have extensive experience with a variety of dog breeds, including Beagles, Dalmatians, Pit Bulls, Chihuahuas, German Shepherds, Dachshunds, Aussies, Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Poodles, and more. I’m also well versed in looking after kittens and cats. I provide drop-in visits, daily walks, and house-sitting services. Whether it's a playful puppy or a senior dog, I'm comfortable caring for dogs of all ages and can administer oral medication if necessary. I actively volunteer with the local dog rescues, walking and socializing the dogs waiting for their forever homes. Additionally, I foster rescue dogs from time to time, focusing on socialization (both with my own pets and individually), basic behavioral training, and helping them become comfortable with grooming and handling. I’m active duty serving at Eglin AFB as a medical technician. My main schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 4 pm. Outside of those hours, I have flexibility, and we can discuss what works best for your family! Housesitting: Feel free to let me know where your dog prefers to sleep! Dogs are more than welcome to sleep in bed with me. Overnight Request: Please share photos of your guest room when possible! 😊 Outside: For their safety, all dogs will remain on a leash during potty breaks and walks. My Fur Family: I’m a proud dog mom to my adorable Beagles, Bella Bentley, and Bogey ❤️.
“They took good care of my baby, Perry. We came to Miramar, FL not knowing that you need a permit to bring dogs to the beach- which was the plan to bring Perry to see the beach for the first time- and Andrew & Maria came to the rescue to babysit Perry for a whole day while my husband & I had a beach date. Definitely will contact them again next time we're there.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve cared for pets since my teenage years and have experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from small companion breeds to large German Shepherds. I’m currently the proud dog mom of Neptune, our 7-year-old Pomsky, and two rescued shelter cats from Louisiana. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I treat every animal with patience, attention, and genuine care. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom with a flexible schedule, which allows me plenty of time to give your pets attention, playtime, walks, and care throughout the day. My husband also works remotely part-time from home, so there is usually someone home during the day. Our teenage daughter is home for the summer as well, meaning your pets will receive lots of love, attention, and companionship. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We recently added a fenced 0.34-acre yard with plenty of room for supervised outdoor play and exercise. Our home is calm, family-oriented, and full of animal lovers, with multiple people available to give attention and care. I’m experienced with dogs of many sizes and personalities and will always follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away.
About: I have taken care and trained canines for decades. As a decades long instructor, I have a developed strong compassionate care attributes that have blended well with my care for furry friends. I am retired and spend most of my time at home or doing activities with my fur child. Taking care of my pet is what I do. I have a fully fenced property with plenty of room to run. I am conscientious and respectful of persons reasonable requests that are unique to their pet.

Pet care fits naturally into my routine, especially on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays, when I have the flexibility to dedicate quality time to walks, play, feeding, and companionship. I plan my day around the pets I’m caring for to ensure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection—not just quick check-ins. Your dog will never feel rushed or overlooked. I currently have a Goldendoodle, so I understand the importance of consistency, positive reinforcement, and a calm environment. In my home, dogs are treated like family—safe, supervised, and given plenty of love, playtime, and structured walks. I maintain a clean space and follow each dog’s individual routine closely. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow instructions carefully to keep pets comfortable and stress-free in their familiar environment. About: I’ve cared for dogs most of my life but wouldn’t mind caring for any other type of animal if the opportunity arose. I’m able to cater to any special requests that your pup might need! I work full-time and my schedule shifts around pretty frequently. I typically work mornings to around 3-4 in the afternoon. I also work these times for a separate gig most weekends. My venue would be best for pups able to remain unattended during normal work hours. I have a fenced in, 24/7 monitored spacious backyard. I allow my pup to roam freely throughout the yard both day and night by keeping a door open leading into the garage for shelter from weather. If you would like your pup to stay inside during certain hours or during the night, this can also be arranged. Upon boarding, you will receive a link to my backyard cam so you can view your pup playing in the yard at anytime!

“Gabby and Anthony were able to watch Gracie when we had a last minute event come up. They are so generous with their time. We are kept up to date in their activities with cute pictures of their play time. We look forward to having them watch Gracie again, soon!”

“Nicole was WONDERFUL to deal with! We booked very last minute changed plans 3 times and picked her up early due to plan changes and Nicole was super cool and easy to communicate with the entire time. My pup is very anxious and she went right into Nicoles home like she had been there 100 times. Finding a sitter for Lilah is soooo difficult and stressful with her anxiety and Nicole made it a breeze. She truly was a blessing 💕”

Ana took awesome care of Henrietta. She kept me updated through the night so I did not worry. Ana also accepted my request for a near last minute request so I could attend a wedding. Henrietta who is prone to some separation anxiety had a great time playing with her family and other pups. I highly recommend her! Thank you Ana!!!

Tyeshia did an amazing job watching my fur baby, Uno! She was caring, attentive, and kept me updated which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Uno was happy, comfortable, and clearly well taken care of. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and kind to care for their pets!

If you’re looking for someone you can trust with your fur baby look no further… seriously, you can stop here. This was my first time using the Rover app and I was so worried. Jeannette took my dog in not only last minute but on Mother’s Day when I had a groomer back out on me. She was so kind, my dog immediately felt at home she treated her like family. Let her lay on the couch and lounge with her, played outside, and she has the sweetest kids that gave her so much love. It’s clear she knows how to take care of all different types of breeds of dogs and same goes for her husband who was also very kind. I immediately felt relieved when I dropped nala off and enjoyed my time with family. She sent photos and asked all the questions to make sure I was comfortable and even better that Nala was comfortable. I will be visiting the area again because Nala loved staying here! She also enjoyed playing with her dog that was as sweet as can be. 🩷🩷

I am so grateful I have found Sheila. Sheila and her husband were absolutely wonderful with my dog, Lily. From the moment I met them, I felt completely at ease knowing Lily would be in such caring hands. Sheila kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me peace of mind. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for kind and caring dog sitter.

Alexandra was amazing. We traveled to Destin for a night. We needed a dog sitter for the day. Alexandra was accommodating and corresponded well prior and during the visit. Our dog was initially nervous. Alexandra made her feel safe. She updated us throughout the day with texts and photos. We could not have been happier. I would highly recommend Alexandra for any dog needs whether you live in the area or are on vacation.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Wright commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
