“Bowser had another great sleepover at Ana’s home. I know he likes to go there because he practically pulled me over trying to race to her door! She kept us updated with photos and he returned happy and healthy.”

“We had a great experience with Aurmurii! She was very attentive and caring with Kean, played with him, and made sure he got plenty of attention. She kept us updated with lots of photos and videos, which we really appreciated. Kean came home happy and noticeably calmer and more relaxed. It was clear that he had a wonderful time and was very well cared for. We would definitely book with her again!”

“Gravy the mutt came home happy and well loved. He has only been elsewhere three times in his almost three years of age. One of those times he came home piddling on everything and we haven’t let him elsewhere until now. Erika and Jason did a phenomenal job of treating him like family and we are so very thankful. Highly recommend and will use again 💕💕💕”

“Madison was an absolute rockstar with my 8 month old pup. She was kind, and extremely caring with Cali. She kept me updated on Cali daily - my little girl was BEAMING in every picture from ear-to-ear. Cali misses having a buddy like Roma to run around with for sure. In the future we will ABSOLUTELY be electing Madison’s services.”

“Robert went above and beyond watching our dog, who can be a handful. He sent us pictures daily and haley just had a great time. He has a dog named charlie, and haley has a new boyfriend! His house is dog proofed with gates up. Robert is a PRO! He gave haley her medicine. He knows how to handle to handle dogs, and i just can't say enough nice things about how he treated my dog. I don't even think my dog wanted to go home! Thank you so much robert for taking such good care of our beloved dog, it is so nice knowing we have a place to put haley when we go away and don't have to worry.”

About: I grew up with several animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, parakeets, fish, etc.) and am very passionate about treating all animals with the love, attention, and respect that they deserve! I have volunteered at animal shelters since I was twelve years old and I worked at a doggie daycare for over 8 months before relocating for school. I have experience with puppies, administering all types of medication, and senior/disabled dog care. I have an unfenced yard and a great neighborhood for walks! I work M-F online and have school online as well, so I would be able to be home for the entirety of the booking and would be able to spend all day with them (I don't like leaving pets alone). I have a townhouse with a fenced patio and unfenced yard, but my street has a grassy pathway behind the houses away from traffic for leashed walks!

“Marcie was awesome from the booking to pickup. She works hard to accommodate and Rusty was a very happy boy. I would definitely recommend and I will be a repeat client.”

“We had a great experience! Ginny was very nice, kept us updated with pictures, and took great care of Cali and Diego. They’re both completely knocked out today, so I’m pretty sure they had a great time! 😂 We felt comfortable leaving them in her care and would definitely book with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Anna was so wonderful with my Max, I got pics and videos every day! She was a vet tech and I felt so comfortable with her knowledge of all his old man medications ? She was also very accommodating when I was going to be out of the country using a different app so we could communicate. Max is even going to be with her for the holidays as well when I’m out of town. I have no doubts he will have another wonderful mini vacation at Anna’s.”

“This was our first time using Rover and everything was so simple and fast. Schyrita was great and gave us updates on our fur baby. I will definitely use her again, next time we are in town.”

“Alex took wonderful care of Donny! We are so thankful! We were traveling for a family vacation but needed a few night for Donny to stay somewhere - I was nervous but she sent wonderful updates and took wonderful care of him!”

“Melesie is so kind, attentive, and will treat your fur baby with the best care out there! She always sends me daily updates and pictures of my sweet pup having fun. After years of using Rover, we found the best sitter out there. Highly recommend!”

“Jessica was great! This was my first time using Rover and leaving my dog with a someone with other dogs in the house, and it couldn’t have went any better. She was very informative during the meet and greet at her house, and provided daily photo updates during my dogs stay which made me feel much better throughout. I could tell my GSD was well taken care of and definitely enjoyed being with the other dogs and with Jessica in her home. Definitely consider Jessica for your pets boarding or sitting needs! Thank you again for a great experience, and will absolutely use your great service in the future if I can!”

“Such a wonderful pet sitter! Our pup is like one of our kids, we don’t just leave with them with anybody. Alex was so pleasant and immediately interacted with our pup. I knew right a way this was a great match. Alex sent me daily updates via text along with pics to see how well our dog was doing. I would highly recommend Alex and will definitely be using her pet sitter services again. Thank you Alex for taking such great care of Sadie.”

Kalvin took good care of our dog Chico. Chico is a very happy doggie when we pick him up from Kalvin house. Kalvin takes him for walks, play with him, and comfort him during thunderstorms. We love the fact he only keeps one pet at a time. I would highly recommend using Kalvin to watch your furry baby.

Naomi was great with taking care of my 8 year old Yorkie. I got frequent updates and pictures. She has her own dog park and yard that is big enough for pets to run around and have fun. I appreciated her having other dogs that would mesh with Ace to get him moving. Couple of things that I want to highlight the most are the preparation she has for multiple pets and situations along with the environment she can create to ensure any pet feels at home. 12/10 would recommend.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Wright home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Wright.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Wright sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
