Availability
All 3 of my kids are now in school, as well as extracurriculars, so while I have more free time to spend with the dogs, I do run out for errands/appointments/etc here and there. If i'm out, it's typically not more than an hour or two during the week. Weekends may be longer but, I always make sure everyone is secure and has gone out to potty before I leave. Please be courteous when dropping off and picking up - If you're running late, let me know. Most times, I'm pretty flexible :)

I have a fully fenced yard that has been secured efficiently to prevent escapees (I have huskies which are obvious escape artists so I'm used to being on high alert, however, if your dog can jump a 6ft fence, please let me know!!). Also for safety purposes, I feed everyone separately and wash bowls in between dogs.

Information Samantha D. would like to know about your pet
- Does your dog have any allergies,? - Are they resource aggressive (food and/or toys)? - Do they have separation anxiety? - Are they crate trained? (not required)
A typical day
Your pup will enjoy running/relaxing in the yard or staying in the "Dog Room" inside area with some playmates to keep them feeling comfortable. During the hot months, I may fill up the "puppy pool" for some outside fun. Otherwise we all stay inside with the air on, where it's much nicer and refreshing for everyone.

Pet care experience
My name is Sam and I am an avid animal lover with 3 dogs of my own. My little humans and dogs are my priority. I'm happy to add your pup to my list of priorities as well. This is my full time gig, so having your furchild stay with us means extra attention and around the clock supervision! I keep plenty of toys & healthy treats on hand, so all I usually need you to bring is your pup, their food and bed/blanket are optional. If you would like to bring a crate, check with me first, as I may have your pup's size available to use. (The bigger ones can be a pain to lug around!) If you have any questions/concerns, don't hesitate to ask . I look forward to meeting you and your furbaby soon! When school is back in session so I am unavailable for drop offs/pick ups between 730a-9a and 230p-330p. Other than that, I'm home with the pups majority of the day. I'd also like to keep late pickups to about 8p, but I understand sometimes travel can be a cause for change and I will do my best to make exceptions. To help provide the best care for all our pups and ensure a smooth start to everyone's day, we kindly ask that you arrive on time for drop-off and pick-up. Timely drop-offs and pick-upshelp us maintain our routine and give each dog the attention they deserve. Thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation! I have a pretty good sized yard, all fenced in. I clean all my bowls and crates after each use. I also send in the robot vacs for constant hair removal :)
Reviews

Murphy had a wonderful time with Samantha and was so tired from all the play time. She sent daily pictures and updates - I will definitely book with Samantha again in the future!

Samantha was absolutely incredible- we got stuck out of state due to a snow storm and she was so understanding and helpful. It looks like our dog had an amazing time!!

Our two huskies stayed for a week and were well cared for, seemed happy and well exercised! The sitter was kind, communicative, and sent daily photo updates, which we really appreciated. Everything felt safe, and it’s clear the dogs are cared for. The only thing we wish we had known ahead of time was the setup - the sitter regularly hosts 10+ dogs, and care is more group-based, with dogs staying primarily in a dedicated room or outside yard and participating in rotating group play. While this may be great for very social dogs, we were hoping for a more one-on-one, home-style experience where our dogs wouldn't be surrounded by others anxious/barking dogs at night or with other dogs we don't know that are coming in and out of care during our dogs stay. We would have chosen a sitter with the more personal type of setup had we known but the sitter was still great at taking care of them! Overall, we’re thankful for the care and communication and appreciate how well our pups were looked after! Just ask questions to be sure the setup is what you are looking for 😊

Samantha is amazing! Pup had a blast and was happy boy!
