“I’m so thankful I found Ana!! My original sitter (a friend) canceled on me last minute, leaving me strapped to find a sitter asap. I downloaded Rover and came across Ana, who was more than happy to accommodate my Scarlett immediately! We did in-house boarding for 8 days, and Scarlett had the time of her life. Ana is a very sweet person, very quick to respond, and sent many photos of Scarlett and her new friends who visited for daycare! 10/10 will use her services in the future if needed. Thank you for your kindness, Ana!”

“They took our 2 puppies with no problem . We got pictures of them everyday and feedback on how they were doing! It was a great service and will look to use Erika and Jason again! ☺️”

“Rachel and Cody are amazing! They kept my boys safe and loved while I was on a trip, they continuously kept me updated with messages and pictures! I would definitely book again with them when I need loving care for my boys! 🤍”

“Million and her 2 sons took great care of our dog over the weekend. She sent a bunch of pictures and videos every day; and it was obvious he was getting lots of attention and play time. I know he enjoyed it and we look forward to using her again in the future.”

“Robert and his wife have been so awesome! We’ve used them multiple times and our dogs are always excited and run right in to his home when we drop them off. We are sad we’re moving and won’t be able to keep using them!”

My own dogs are in and out all day long so I’m used to being available all the time I can stick to whatever routine you currently have for your pets, my own are on strict and detailed routines so I understand needing a pet sitter who can follow routines and give all animals the same level of care my own receive
About: I’ve had pets my whole life and currently have one dog and two cats. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, kittens, high-energy pets, laid-back pets, and seniors who may need extra patience or medication support. I treat every pet like family and tailor care to their personality and routine. Because I have pets of my own, I believe in slow, supervised introductions and a grace period for animals to get comfortable. I never rush interactions—your pet’s safety and comfort come first. Family and friends rely on me to care for their pets whenever they go out of town. I work as a contractor and am usually at my home office. My other office is close by, so if I need to leave, it will only be for a very short period. I’m very flexible with my time and can provide frequent attention, potty breaks, and supervision throughout the day. Our dog gets two walks daily—one early in the morning and one in the evening—and I can adapt that routine to your pet’s needs. I try to stay very aware of the temperature on which they walk as well. I can also administer medications when clear instructions are provided. I care for pets with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. Dogs have frequent supervised potty breaks and backyard playtime, along with walks, play, and plenty of companionship. Pets also have a comfortable, quiet room available if they need a break from noise, activity, and the evil vacuum. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible and adjust care based on their age, energy level, and comfort. “This was our first time using Rover and everything was so simple and fast. Schyrita was great and gave us updates on our fur baby. I will definitely use her again, next time we are in town.”

“Ginny did such an amazing job, my dog Apollo was treated wonderfully. He was there for about two weeks with a mixture of other dogs. I had frequent updates, and was told how he was being treated - the peace of mind was fantastic. I would easily book with Ginny again, I cannot recommend her enough.”

“Melesie is so kind, attentive, and will treat your fur baby with the best care out there! She always sends me daily updates and pictures of my sweet pup having fun. After years of using Rover, we found the best sitter out there. Highly recommend!”

“Aaron was great! Sent daily updates and I could just tell my Nova girl was having the best time. I knew from our initial meet and greet Nova would be in good hands and was so happy she’d have some company. THANKS AGAIN AARON!”

“Ashlea took care of my dog Suki this past weekend after I contacted her on very short notice. We scheduled a meet-and-greet the same day I reached out. During our weekend vacation, she sent me several cute pictures of my dog with quick updates on how she's doing and settling in. I'm grateful I found her on Rover. We'll definitely be back for more mini-vacations. Thank you for taking care of our sweet dog, Ashlea & Family”

“Nadia took excellent care of our Aussie shep, last minute booking and during a hurricane!!!! We were super grateful for the consistent updates from her throughout the weekend!!”

“We needed a last minute sitter for a pup. I was super nervous as I’ve never used this site or left him with someone we didn’t know. Rabia was great with him. She took lots of pics & sent daily updates to show how comfortable our boy was. He loved playing with the other dogs. I liked she didn’t require him to be in a crate as he’s use to just being out on his bed. We took his bed & he found her fireplace mantle more comfortable but I was happy he got to choose where he laid/slept. We'll definitely use Rabia again”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Ocean City
Roxy had such a great time with Naomi. She was in constant contact with me to keep my anxiety level low. Roxy loves Naomi so much, that when we got home, she looked for her and whimpered. I will definitely be using Naomi again. She treated my baby with love and care as is she were her own. 💜 Thank you Naomi 🐕💜

We had a great experience with Aurmurii! She was very attentive and caring with Kean, played with him, and made sure he got plenty of attention. She kept us updated with lots of photos and videos, which we really appreciated. Kean came home happy and noticeably calmer and more relaxed. It was clear that he had a wonderful time and was very well cared for. We would definitely book with her again!

Kalvin took good care of our dog Chico. Chico is a very happy doggie when we pick him up from Kalvin house. Kalvin takes him for walks, play with him, and comfort him during thunderstorms. We love the fact he only keeps one pet at a time. I would highly recommend using Kalvin to watch your furry baby.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Ocean City home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Ocean City.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Ocean City sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
