“Alex was great! She was very responsive, sending updates and pictures often. She made us feel comfortable about leaving our dogs for the first time. I would recommend Alex to anyone in OS that needs a dog sitter.”

“Danika was great, we communicated a few times if she had a question. She sent me a few pictures and was quick to get back to me if I texted her. My house was clean when we got back, and I would have her back on our next trip”

“Hannah was great! Scout enjoyed playing with her pup Fisher while I was away for work. I am very nervous about leaving my pup when I have to travel - Hannah was very sweet and Scout had a great time.”

About: I have lived with dogs my entire life and think of them as family. I will only have small groups of dogs at a time so your pupper will get lots of attention and belly rubs. I have experience with senior dogs and administering medications. I work part time but I am generally open on weekends. My adult son is also a Rover provider (Akaki Hojo) and he is generally available during weekdays. We work together to provide the best care possible and cover most days for care. I have a fenced yard and dogs have full run of the house including the living room furniture. I offer medication administration if needed. I have a Labradoodle who is here so your dog will always have a play buddy. My dog is reactive to new people and may bark loudly at meeting. I assure you that she settles right down as soon as the new humans leave and I will send video proof. Sometimes she even settles while new humans are still here!
About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals ever since I was a child living on a farm- dogs, cats, horses, chickens, rabbits, fish, and even plants! I have a deep sense of care for animals and living things, and will nurture and attend to your loved ones’ needs while you are away. I have a one year old chocolate Lab named George who gets along great with other dogs and is polite and respectful with cats. He comes with me on overnight stays and walks, but can stay in my truck for drop-in visits if you prefer. I can take your dog on long walks or visit dog parks during the day and give them plenty of playtime and attention. Available for drop in feeding visits, walks, or overnight stays. I am available to drop by or stay overnight in client’s homes. I have a pickup with a canopy to transport your dogs to the dog park, and have access to a private beach. Comfortable with large breeds, leash training and working with behavioral issues. Let me know what your pets need and I will be happy to accommodate.
“Kendra was very positive and responsible and our anxious dog Bonnie was very calm when we returned, which showed she had been comfortable with Kendra. Kendra brought her charming young daughter with her to dog sit which limited how long and how often she could walk Bonnie.”

About: My name is Kaitlyn, and I'm a dog trainer in the Grays Harbor area. I have been successfully working with owners to rehabilitate fearful and/or reactive dogs for almost a decade now. I have also been a competitive dog agility instructor for 7 years. My own dog is Oakley, a Miniature American Shepherd, and he helps me with fearful or reactive dog clients by being a neutral dog with great communication skills. Before becoming a dog trainer full time, I worked at a dog daycare in Mukilteo for 3 years. It was a great experience and gave me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and handling large groups of dogs. I compete in seven different dog sports with my own dogs, but we love agility and flyball most. I am available whenever I'm not already teaching classes or at a competition. Scheduling is open as we just moved to the new area from Seattle. I am experienced with dogs who are difficult or nervous around strangers. I use scientifically backed, LIMA guided dog training to guide dogs through their feelings as gently as I am capable while accomplishing learning. In any case, I like to engage with dogs in a way that's most comfortable for them. Each dog is different! I am not comfortable taking unfamiliar dogs off leash outside of the home or yard for safety reasons, but I am happy to work on this skill with them if requested!
About: I have been around pets my whole life. I have volunteered at a vet clinic. I am available 7 days a week 6:00 am -5:00 pm (we can work out a schedule). I can administer oral medications and can provide exercise for your pet. I enjoy taking my yellow lab and Boston terrier to the dog park on my free time. Nothing makes me happier then puppy snuggles. I have had pets my whole life. I’ve had everything from fish to ducks hahaha. I love all animal but dogs have a special place in my heart. Thank you for taking the time to check out my profile and I hope you consider me to take care of your beautiful fur babies ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Ocean Shores pet parents share their Rover experiences
We trusted Hannah for 8 days with our little maltipoo and our home. We were new to Ocean Shores so it was a leap of faith, but we met her first which was reassuring. She was so sweet to our little girl and communicated with us regularly. Her dog, Fisher, tagged along and quickly became a big brother when they were out on their walks. We highly recommend Hannah!

Duncan is always amazing with our two dogs! He’s dependable, kind, and clearly loves what he does. We always come home to happy, relaxed pups who have obviously been well cared for. Duncan keeps us updated with messages and photos, which we really appreciate. We’re so grateful to have someone we can fully trust — highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great sitter!

We made a week-long trip to the beach with our travel trailer and 5 doggos. We hired Lanelle to stay with our pack while we had an anniversary dinner in town. Although Lanelle wasn't able to make it due to illness, she sent Austin, her adult son, to take her place. Our dogs immediately fell in love with Austin, especially Roy, our yellow lab. They got snacks and a thorough brushing, and we got pictures of everyone relaxed and chilling in the trailer, while we enjoyed a lovely dinner. We appreciate your time and efforts, and will definitely be in touch in the future!
