I’m available Thursday to Sunday I tailor my care based on each pet’s needs and routine, whether they’re staying with me or I’m caring for them in their own home. In my home, I provide a safe, pet-friendly environment with plenty of space to play, rest, and feel comfortable. I follow their feeding and exercise schedule closely and ensure they get plenty of attention, affection, and mental stimulation. When caring for pets in their own home, I maintain their regular routine as closely as possible — from mealtimes and walks to medication and cuddle time. About: I have caretaking experience, I have had many pets in my lifetime from puppies, dogs with heart murmurs, to timid rescues that need lots of growth and support. I have a belief that all dogs can be cares for with ease, because I understand them through their personalities and specific needs. Every dog is unique in a beautiful way, just like humans, I do my best to pick up on their queues and give them the attention they deserve and give them good energy. I am open to caring for pets every day of the week, Monday to Sunday from daytime to overnight needs. I am a writer and creative and this would be my main job other than those duties which I would balance efficiently. At my home, I have two separate units. I have a main house and a studio next door, along with two fenced in backyards. I am near the Hoquiam town hall nearby the town which is perfect for long walks.

We recently had to say goodbye to our Boston terrier due to cancer, and I’m missing having a furry friend to hang out with at home. I work from home 6 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through Thursday and have two 15 minute breaks and a half an hour break during that time. I also have flexibility throughout the day. We have a nice comfortable home and a very walkable neighborhood. I enjoy walking down to the South Bend waterfront, which is only a couple blocks from our house.

About: My name is Kaitlyn, and I'm a dog trainer in the Grays Harbor area. I have been successfully working with owners to rehabilitate fearful and/or reactive dogs for almost a decade now. I have also been a competitive dog agility instructor for 7 years. My own dog is Oakley, a Miniature American Shepherd, and he helps me with fearful or reactive dog clients by being a neutral dog with great communication skills. Before becoming a dog trainer full time, I worked at a dog daycare in Mukilteo for 3 years. It was a great experience and gave me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and handling large groups of dogs. I compete in seven different dog sports with my own dogs, but we love agility and flyball most. I am available whenever I'm not already teaching classes or at a competition. Scheduling is open as we just moved to the new area from Seattle. I am experienced with dogs who are difficult or nervous around strangers. I use scientifically backed, LIMA guided dog training to guide dogs through their feelings as gently as I am capable while accomplishing learning. In any case, I like to engage with dogs in a way that's most comfortable for them. Each dog is different! I am not comfortable taking unfamiliar dogs off leash outside of the home or yard for safety reasons, but I am happy to work on this skill with them if requested!

About: I have lived with dogs my entire life and think of them as family. I will only have small groups of dogs at a time so your pupper will get lots of attention and belly rubs. I have experience with senior dogs and administering medications. I am a Realtor with a flexible schedule so I am able to care for pets most days during the week. I normally feed the dogs twice a day but I can accommodate special needs. I have a fenced yard and dogs have full run of the house including the living room furniture. I offer medication administration if needed. I have a Labradoodle who is here so your dog will always have a play buddy. My dog is reactive to new people and may bark loudly at meeting. I assure you that she settles right down as soon as the new humans leave and I will send video proof. Sometimes she even settles while new humans are still here! I generally run a kennel free enviroment (unless that is what your dog is used to. Then you can bring your own kennel). At bedtime I take the dogs lead on where they like to sleep. Some prefer sleeping next to my bed, some in my bed and some prefer the living room.

About: I've been a dog owner all my life. I have experience with Chihuahuas to Great Danes. No dog is too big or too small. I love spending time with my four legged friends and will provide the best care possible. I personally own three dogs, two German Shepard and an american pit bull terrier. I also dogsit regularly for a friend who also has German Shepard. I'm not afraid of larger breeds! In the past I have owned English Bulldogs ( one of the hardest breeds to care for!) and have had a lot of experience with working service dogs. Depending on what your dog likes, I am more than happy to take your pup on a long walk or down to the beach for some water time. If need be, I can also bathe your dogs! I currently own my own general contracting business and work locally in Ocean Shores. I am always available to swing by and give potty breaks and stay overnight as needed.
