About: I have caretaking experience, I have had many pets in my lifetime from puppies, dogs with heart murmurs, to timid rescues that need lots of growth and support. I have a belief that all dogs can be cares for with ease, because I understand them through their personalities and specific needs. Every dog is unique in a beautiful way, just like humans, I do my best to pick up on their queues and give them the attention they deserve and give them good energy. I am open to caring for pets every day of the week, Monday to Sunday from daytime to overnight needs. I am a writer and creative and this would be my main job other than those duties which I would balance efficiently. At my home, I have two separate units. I have a main house and a studio next door, along with two fenced in backyards. I am near the Hoquiam town hall nearby the town which is perfect for long walks.

I have also been a competitive dog agility instructor for 7 years. My own dog is Oakley, a Miniature American Shepherd, and he helps me with fearful or reactive dog clients by being a neutral dog with great communication skills. Before becoming a dog trainer full time, I worked at a dog daycare in Mukilteo for 3 years. It was a great experience and gave me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and handling large groups of dogs. About: I have lived with dogs my entire life and think of them as family. I will only have small groups of dogs at a time so your pupper will get lots of attention and belly rubs. I have experience with senior dogs and administering medications. I am a Realtor with a flexible schedule so I am able to care for pets most days during the week. I normally feed the dogs twice a day but I can accommodate special needs. I have a fenced yard and dogs have full run of the house including the living room furniture. I offer medication administration if needed. I have a Labradoodle who is here so your dog will always have a play buddy. My dog is reactive to new people and may bark loudly at meeting. I assure you that she settles right down as soon as the new humans leave and I will send video proof. Sometimes she even settles while new humans are still here! I generally run a kennel free enviroment (unless that is what your dog is used to. Then you can bring your own kennel). At bedtime I take the dogs lead on where they like to sleep. Some prefer sleeping next to my bed, some in my bed and some prefer the living room.
