About: I’ve been a volunteer at two different animal shelters, including Olympia‘s Joint Animal Services. I’ve worked with everything from tiny 4 week old kittens to elderly dogs, and I’m comfortable delivering some medications. As a former teacher and current volunteer educator I’ve passed many background checks. I’ve taken care of my own pets and those of family and friends my whole life, and I love getting to know new fur friends. I am currently working part time as a consultant so my pet care schedule is very flexible. I am available most weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Meeting someone new can be stressful for an animal, so I meet your pets with patience and attention to their needs. I strive to be a calm and safe presence although I am also happy to have fun and match their energy if they are looking to be playful.

About: I have 3 dogs of my own; my old man toy poodle Chai, big baby Baxter, and sweet lil mama Maisie! All of them are non aggressive, and love new friends. My husband is military, so as we travel, I have worked on rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need. I’ve been doing kennel boarding/daycare for some time now, but am looking to specialize in giving individualized love, care, and attention to each of my fuzzy friends! When caring for your pets, I treat them how I would my own fur babies! I have experience in a wide range of animals, energy level, personality, and emergency situations. I offer socialization training with my own babies, so they can have amazing friends to play with! I am working towards an animal CPR & FA certification, as well as taking courses to become a certified dog trainer. I’m currently working from home, so I have plenty of time for taking care of your fur babies! I do regular potty breaks every 2 hours with scheduled activities throughout the day. All my kiddos are friendly and loving towards every new friend they meet! Your baby will be accepted as one of family in a well structured environment. Depending on every pups personal preference, I do slow distanced introductions and eventually close the gap till everyone is comfortable. Once introduced as friends, we can do all activities as a group!
About: Throughout my life, I have been surrounded by animals of all kinds, fostering a deep and intuitive connection with them. This bond has always felt effortless, as forming relationships with animals is one of my greatest passions. I have successfully trained numerous dogs to coexist harmoniously with family members, other pets, and small children. I am willing to put in as many hours as people need! I have an outdoor/indoor 18 year old cat who’s quality of life is amazing. About: I grew up helping my parents breed German Shepherds and Rottweilers, and spent my childhood surrounded by Huskies, Min Pins, Boxers, and Golden Retrievers. Over the years, I’ve personally raised several puppies—including a Jack Russell Terrier, two Corgis, and a Shetland Sheepdog—which taught me patience, consistency, and how to support dogs through every stage of development. I’ve completed training courses with all of my pets, working on recall and foundational commands like sit, stay, roll over, and fetch. I also have lifelong experience caring for cats. About: I don’t have professional pet care experience but I have had animals my whole life. When I was young I had a car, a shitzu dog another dog I can’t remember the breed, a Rottweiler shepherd mix, and full German shepherd. I currently have 2 black lab hound mixes! I absolutely love and adore animals! This will be my job and I love being around dogs of all kind! I would be honored to house sit take your dog on a walk or even just drop by for a potty break! I will make sure to follow the owners rules and make sure the pet has everything it needs I will take it to use the bathroom I will play and make sure they are kept fed and always have water and if it needs medicine I’ll distribute the medicine as directed by owner!

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
