“Becky did great with our highly reactive/protective Decker Rat Terriers. I was super anxious that all Cooper would do is freak out and bark at her for the entire four days we were gone and she was house sitting for us. He was all calmed down in a couple hours and was totally normal and sleeping with his head in her lap by the end of the first day. House was clean and she brought my very heavy UPS delivery up to the house, which I didn't expect at all. Highly recommend!”

“Brogan stayed with my two dogs for five days as a house sitter. Brogan was great: he sent photos, my girls liked him and he left the house so neat, I had to ask which room he used. I would use him again.”

About: I have 3 dogs of my own; my old man toy poodle Chai, big baby Baxter, and sweet lil mama Maisie! All of them are non aggressive, and love new friends. My husband is military, so as we travel, I have worked on rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need. I’ve been doing kennel boarding/daycare for some time now, but am looking to specialize in giving individualized love, care, and attention to each of my fuzzy friends! When caring for your pets, I treat them how I would my own fur babies! I have experience in a wide range of animals, energy level, personality, and emergency situations. I offer socialization training with my own babies, so they can have amazing friends to play with! I am working towards an animal CPR & FA certification, as well as taking courses to become a certified dog trainer. I’m currently working from home, so I have plenty of time for taking care of your fur babies! I do regular potty breaks every 2 hours with scheduled activities throughout the day. All my kiddos are friendly and loving towards every new friend they meet! Your baby will be accepted as one of family in a well structured environment. Depending on every pups personal preference, I do slow distanced introductions and eventually close the gap till everyone is comfortable. Once introduced as friends, we can do all activities as a group!
“Erica saved me when a previous housesitter had to cancel last minute due to a family emergency. Lots of pictures, communicated regularly, and clearly loved on Eva while I was gone.”

“Carina was great! She came by the house to get to know my boys and go through the routine and schedule. She gave me updates during the visit and made me feel comfortable leaving my babies at home.”

“All good with Ariana! The puppies Chidi and Ellie had a great time playing with Ariana's puppies, everything was in good order when I returned, no complaints from the puppies! Thank you!”

“We had a good experience with Madisyn! The house was left spotless and communication throughout the stay was great — she sent updates, pictures and was easy to reach. Our one note is that she was out quite late one evening, which we weren't expecting. I'd recommend discussing schedules and expectations upfront, as she is a popular sitter with other jobs. I would still consider booking again, as we discussed that issue and she was very responsive. Thanks, Madisyn!”

“Veronica came to my rescue after my original sitter cancelled as we were on the road driving out of state. She kept me informed and was able to give my loveable pups the attention and care they needed. Will definitely book with her again the future!!”

About: I have experience with a variety of animals. Yes cats and dogs, but I also have experience caring for small livestock, poultry, and small exotics. I can confidently care for any and all animals brought my way. I'm a former 4-H kid and have grown up around animals, so I love getting to care for animals and always provide top-notch care. I will be graduating in 2 weeks, and will be most likely unemployed during the summer, so I will have tons of free time to spend with your pets. When the school year starts I will be working full time, but I will still be in the Thurston County area so I will be able to care for pets and be there for your pets in the morning and night! Occasionally I have late nights (I play DND with my friends twice a month and we play in the evenings), but I will always stop by to check on animals before being out late. When I am house and pet sitting, I treat my clients home and pets like they are my own space/my own pets. I am very respectful of the space I am in and I shower all animals I am taking care of with love and affection. I always want to do a meet-and-greet beforehand with the owners present so the animals will know me (and hopefully be more comfortable with me) before I am suddenly staying in their home. I do everything I can to help pets feel comfortable with me in their space.
About: As an experienced dog sitter, I go beyond basic care by truly understanding each dog’s unique personality and needs. I have a natural ability to read their body language and adapt to their moods, ensuring they feel comfortable, happy, and secure while you’re away. Whether it’s administering medications, following specific dietary plans, or providing enriching playtime and walks, I tailor my approach to each dog’s routine. My calm and attentive demeanor helps even the most anxious dogs feel at ease, and I maintain clear communication with pet owners for peace of mind. Having cared for my own senior Pomeranian, Zeus, until he was 14, I am particularly attuned to the special needs of older dogs, including administering medications and adjusting routines for their comfort. I currently have an year and a half year old Yellow Labrador Retriever named cooper, so well experienced with puppies I’m currently home full-time, so I have a very flexible schedule and can give your pets lots of attention throughout the day. Whether your dog needs frequent potty breaks, long walks, playtime, feeding schedules, medication, or just extra cuddles and companionship, I’m able to be there consistently. I love getting outside for walks and making sure dogs stay mentally and physically happy while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I treat every animal like they’re my own and take the time to learn their routine, personality, and needs. I’m experienced with dogs of different ages, energy levels, and temperaments, including senior dogs and puppies. I always keep a close eye during walks, potty breaks, feeding, and playtime to make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a calm environment.

“Josh accepted our last minute request so that we could leave town for a funeral and even arrived at 4:30 am for our early flight. He took great care of our dogs and even checked to make sure things were good with our reptile. In addition he left the house as he found it and cleaned up after himself.”

“Mckinzie took excellent care of our pooch, house and yard! She was very sensitive to our shy dog’s personality and they ended up good friends! We appreciated her quick response time too. We will definitely use Mckinzie again in the future!”

“LeeAnn was a great pet and house sitter for our weekend away! We booked LeeAnn last minute and are so pleased that we did. She took the time to come over before we left to go over our picky cats food routine and updated us with how he was doing while we were away. LeeAnn is communicative and reliable. We will definitely have her back to watch our cat, Dr. Pepper, again!”

About: My name is Kaitlyn, and I'm a dog trainer in the Grays Harbor area. I have been successfully working with owners to rehabilitate fearful and/or reactive dogs for almost a decade now. I have also been a competitive dog agility instructor for 7 years. My own dog is Oakley, a Miniature American Shepherd, and he helps me with fearful or reactive dog clients by being a neutral dog with great communication skills. Before becoming a dog trainer full time, I worked at a dog daycare in Mukilteo for 3 years. It was a great experience and gave me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and handling large groups of dogs. I compete in seven different dog sports with my own dogs, but we love agility and flyball most. I am available whenever I'm not already teaching classes or at a competition. Scheduling is open as we just moved to the new area from Seattle. I am experienced with dogs who are difficult or nervous around strangers. I use scientifically backed, LIMA guided dog training to guide dogs through their feelings as gently as I am capable while accomplishing learning. In any case, I like to engage with dogs in a way that's most comfortable for them. Each dog is different! I am not comfortable taking unfamiliar dogs off leash outside of the home or yard for safety reasons, but I am happy to work on this skill with them if requested!
“Melanie took care of my girls while I was on a trip. She sent me regular pictures and stories of the mischief my dogs had been up to. They clearly enjoyed their time with her.”

“Davis was excellent to work with and took outstanding care of all three of our high energy pups along with helping maintain some of our plants and fish tanks. He was very responsive and sent plenty of updates and photos of everyone having a great time. Despite our pups usually feeling anxious and sad while we are away, Davis was able to make them feel comfortable and happy the entire time. I'm very grateful we found such an excellent sitter, and we look forward to working with him again in the future!”

About: I am a reliable pet sitter with years of experience. I’ve dealt with dogs of all ages, personalities, and unique needs. I care for each animal with patience and understanding, but ultimately I know that providing good pet care comes down to attention and communication. I make sure to follow instructions and try my best to make your pet feel comfortable and cared for. I always send lots of photos and updates, perhaps too many. 😅 I also have a flexible schedule, which makes it easy for me to adapt to your pet’s routine. I’d love to walk, watch, and care for your dog! I work a part time during the week but I’m not usually gone for more than 3 hours at a time. My weekends are flexible leaving me open for more extensive pet care. I am trustworthy, risk-averse, and follow directions to a tee. No request is too small or too big when caring for these angels. I understand what it’s like to worry when you’re away. I am here hopefully to alleviate that stress by accommodating you and your pet. ☺️
