About: My name is Kaitlyn, and I'm a dog trainer in the Grays Harbor area. I have been successfully working with owners to rehabilitate fearful and/or reactive dogs for almost a decade now. I have also been a competitive dog agility instructor for 7 years. My own dog is Oakley, a Miniature American Shepherd, and he helps me with fearful or reactive dog clients by being a neutral dog with great communication skills. Before becoming a dog trainer full time, I worked at a dog daycare in Mukilteo for 3 years. It was a great experience and gave me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and handling large groups of dogs. I compete in seven different dog sports with my own dogs, but we love agility and flyball most. I am available whenever I'm not already teaching classes or at a competition. Scheduling is open as we just moved to the new area from Seattle. I am experienced with dogs who are difficult or nervous around strangers. I use scientifically backed, LIMA guided dog training to guide dogs through their feelings as gently as I am capable while accomplishing learning. In any case, I like to engage with dogs in a way that's most comfortable for them. Each dog is different! I am not comfortable taking unfamiliar dogs off leash outside of the home or yard for safety reasons, but I am happy to work on this skill with them if requested!

About: My family or I have owned multiple dogs or cats of all sizes my entire life. I currently own a 10 year old boxer mix and 10 year old Great Pyrenees so I am comfortable with large and small dogs. I work a from home with a flexible schedule for my day job so I am able to house sit at any time or walk at nearly any time or day. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I am typically only unavailable for an hour to 2 a day due to client calls. I am available outside of those couple of hours. I am available for house sitting, check ins, or dog walking. I am comfortable with caring for cats or dogs of all sizes. I have cared for puppies, kittens , and elderly dogs and cats.

About: I have caretaking experience, I have had many pets in my lifetime from puppies, dogs with heart murmurs, to timid rescues that need lots of growth and support. I have a belief that all dogs can be cares for with ease, because I understand them through their personalities and specific needs. Every dog is unique in a beautiful way, just like humans, I do my best to pick up on their queues and give them the attention they deserve and give them good energy. I am open to caring for pets every day of the week, Monday to Sunday from daytime to overnight needs. I am a writer and creative and this would be my main job other than those duties which I would balance efficiently. At my home, I have two separate units. I have a main house and a studio next door, along with two fenced in backyards. I am near the Hoquiam town hall nearby the town which is perfect for long walks.

About: We have always had dogs in the house. Ever since I was 9 I was knocking on neighbors doors begging to walk their furry baby. I have trained our two current puppies from when they were 9 weeks old (respectively). And continue to maintain training. I currently work part time as an after school care supervisior and instructional aid so mornings and evenings are free for puppy snuggles and walks! My goal would be to maintain routine, stave away boredom, and ensure physical exercise. I would work with parent and pup to ensure your fur baby has the best time!

About: I have experience with adult dogs and puppies. I will follow your instructions with absolute certainty and can assure you I will make sure they are loved and cared for as if they were my own. I am very responsible and if a home visit is needed, your home will be locked and secured the moment i leave and if the puppy or elder dogs make a mess i am happy and willing to clean it up to make your day easier when you return. If it is just walking services you are looking for, i will make sure we take a walk worth it to the dog or puppy so they get the proper exercise needed. I have a career where i get 3-4 days off at a time. I would love to help you ease some of the stress by taking care of your animals. It gives me a chance to enjoy them and help you as well. I will follow whatever instructions given to me and can be reached at all times a day if needed. I will also update you with photos or information if you ask. I can also assure you that i am very cautious about my surroundings and will do my best to make sure your pet is safe and cared for properly.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals ever since I was a child living on a farm- dogs, cats, horses, chickens, rabbits, fish, and even plants! I have a deep sense of care for animals and living things, and will nurture and attend to your loved ones’ needs while you are away. I have a one year old chocolate Lab named George who gets along great with other dogs and is polite and respectful with cats. He comes with me on overnight stays and walks, but can stay in my truck for drop-in visits if you prefer. I can take your dog on long walks or visit dog parks during the day and give them plenty of playtime and attention. Available for drop in feeding visits, walks, or overnight stays. I am available to drop by or stay overnight in client’s homes. I have a pickup with a canopy to transport your dogs to the dog park, and have access to a private beach. Comfortable with large breeds, leash training and working with behavioral issues. Let me know what your pets need and I will be happy to accommodate.

About: I grew up around dogs, cats, and even rodents! I volunteered at a farm animal sanctuary for a few years and during that time I learned a strong understanding of patience and consistency. So when I care for your pet, I’ll approach it with the same level of dedication and compassion that I brought to the sanctuary! I have experience with a variety of animals, including seniors and special needs! I'm currently working short, part-time hours, so I'm quite flexible! I'm especially available during weekdays to help care for your pets while you're away at work! I love to start things slow when I'm introduced to a pet, especially if I'm inside their own home and space! Introducing myself with patience and kindness is something I always go by; the pet's comfort and trust are everything!

About: I have 3 dogs of my own; my old man toy poodle Chai, big baby Baxter, and sweet lil mama Maisie! All of them are non aggressive, and love new friends. My husband is military, so as we travel, I have worked on rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need. I’ve been doing kennel boarding/daycare for some time now, but am looking to specialize in giving individualized love, care, and attention to each of my fuzzy friends! When caring for your pets, I treat them how I would my own fur babies! I have experience in a wide range of animals, energy level, personality, and emergency situations. I offer socialization training with my own babies, so they can have amazing friends to play with! I am working towards an animal CPR & FA certification, as well as taking courses to become a certified dog trainer. I’m currently working from home, so I have plenty of time for taking care of your fur babies! I do regular potty breaks every 2 hours with scheduled activities throughout the day. All my kiddos are friendly and loving towards every new friend they meet! Your baby will be accepted as one of family in a well structured environment. Depending on every pups personal preference, I do slow distanced introductions and eventually close the gap till everyone is comfortable. Once introduced as friends, we can do all activities as a group!
