Other Rover sitters that I booked for 30 min just saw the cats hiding under the couch as always and left after 10 min. Heather always stayed the FULL TIME and toward the end of the booking she even captured photos of the cats out from under the couch and even approaching her hand :D The apartment was also left clean, the box scooped, and the food bowl full. About: I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds & sizes over the years. I am comfortable with puppies through senior age. Friends, family and clients have relied on me to feed, walk, play with, clean up after, and love their pups as if they were my own. I can administer medications, including injections, and sq fluids. I can practice obedience skills during my visits as well. I’m available for pet care visits on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings as well as evenings and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. I am also available on major holidays. Mondays and Tuesdays are on a case-by-case basis. I am very safety conscious and will care for your pets as carefully as I would my own. I will follow whatever your normal household routine is so that your pets feel safe and comfortable. They thrive with routines! If they use a crate, need treats after potty breaks, want belly rubs after a meal, etc., I am there for it all!

About: I’ve spent my 24 years of life surrounded by dogs and cats as I grew up with a mother who worked in animal rescue. I’ve been around all temperaments and know how to handle the easygoing and the most reactive. I also have experience with puppies and plenty of experience with senior pets as most of my own dogs are seniors. I currently live with my 3 cats and 1 chinchilla! I currently work full time however besides those 8 hours a day I am free to care for and look after your pets! I’m available everyday of the week including weekends and am committed to prioritizing your pets. When it comes to caring for pets, safety is always my top priority. In your home, I follow your pet’s established routine as closely as possible. I’m vigilant about locking doors, securing gates, and following any specific safety instructions you provide. I also monitor your pet’s behavior to ensure they’re healthy and comfortable. During drop-ins, I check on your pet, refill water and food as needed, and give them attention and playtime. I make sure doors and windows are locked when I leave and always follow any safety guidelines specific to your home, such as alarm codes or gate instructions.

About: I have been dog walking and pet sitting in owner's homes for over ten years but I've been a pet lover my whole life! There has never been a dog or cat that I've met that I didn't absolutely love! My relationship with a pet and their owner is extremely important to me and I take care of every dog and cat as if they were my own! I have accommodated a wide variety of demands from owners, and not one of them have been unhappy with my service. Before I care for your pet I would like to meet with you (the owner) and your pet to go over your pet’s daily routine and any concerns you may have. My goal is for everyone to be happy and leave with their tails wagging! I’m currently working part time as a business owner so I am able to come walk, sit stay or play with your puppers any time of day! I understand that maintaining a consistent schedule is very important for pets and sticking to that schedule is top priority for me. I prefer to care for pets in their own environment where they are the most comfortable and at home! I am currently unable to host pets in my space.

About: I have spent my entire life loving dogs and can never get enough, I don’t remember a day growing up that we didn’t have a dog! I am a retired paramedic/firefighter that stumbled upon owning the most amazing dog walking/sitting business ever in the heart of DuPont Circle for 10 years and I would love to share more about that with you if we connect! I was constantly told I have a gift with animals and was known around town as the dog whisperer! In 2021 we, my husband of almost thirty years, moved into our dream home on the water in Annapolis where I have been dog walking/sitting through word of mouth from neighbors and friends. I am available Monday through Friday’s for walks with short notice as little as an hour! I am a 4 minute drive to dog parks if that is what your doggo prefers! We do not have a fenced yard but rest assure your doggo will get PLENTY of exercise while staying with us. My husband and I are highly energetic and love to take long walks. My husband also works from home so plenty of company throughout the day!
