What a great opportunity to combine 2 loves :) I will treat your dog with the utmost care and follow your specific instructions to keep their routine. I will be sure to give them all the attention they want! I am responsible & reliable and can't wait to meet your pup! I have flexibility from 8am-5pm Monday through Friday and can walk your dog 1-4 times per day. Depending on the weekend, I may have some availability in the mornings then as well. Same applies to dog/cat drop-in visits. Currently I’m only dog-walking and doing pet check-ins. When I'm in your home, I will be very respectful of your space. About: I have always been a pup enthusiast, I grew up with a huge black lab, Luke. He was the best dog ever, I’d love to take him for walks and play! As an adult I have many dog friends, my sister has the most beautiful pit bull Sadie. I’ll go to her house when I’m in town and take the dog out, Sadie loves when I’m around!! My boyfriend’s parents have two massive Great Danes, we walk them and take care of them all the time. I just have a huge heart for all of our four legged friends. About: Hi! My name is Essie Clifton and I just graduated Tulane University with a BA in Communications. I am now home in Annapolis looking to take care of some pups during my gap year, as I plan attend law school in Fall 2026! Growing up, I earned my ice-cream money by walking, washing, and caring for dogs all throughout my neighborhood, from labs, to little terriers, to one giant Italian Mastiff. My own childhood dog (a coton de Tulear named Sadie) was my best friend when I was little, and ever since all puppers have held a special place in my heart. Right now my family has an Australian Shepherd named Hobie, who I have missed dearly while away at college! I am hoping to get into dog sitting not only as a side hustle alongside my studies, but to get to spend time with some furry friends while I miss my own back home at law school. I love and am great with all dogs, big or small, young or old. One special skill I can offer for high energy pups is high energy activities like a run or a long romp around the yard/park, as I run every day! It’s a great way for them to shake off some extra energy. I also am great with anxious, hesitant, shy, or temperamental dogs because I volunteered with a Take Paws shelter my last year of college and encountered many with behavioral quirks, all who just needed some patience and love. Finally, I’ve been told I am an excellent ball thrower and belly scratcher, so your chill pup will be just as happy as your active one. I hope you will consider me to take care of your pup! I am very flexible! If my calendar says available, I can likely fit you in any time of day, since during my gap year I’ll mostly be working various odd-jobs. I have a small fenced in backyard and live right around the Annapolis Cove/Bay Ridge area. Indoor access is available at my house, so long as your dog wouldn’t mind meeting our very dog friendly Aussie. If caring for your pet in your home, I can ensure a clean and seamless experience leaving no mess behind and keeping your pup happy!

About: Hey! I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have taken care of tons of my friends’ and family’s pups over the years. I know how to read their body language and always try to make them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I’m gentle, patient, and love getting to know each dog’s personality. Whether it’s walking, playing fetch, or tug-of-war, I’m all about keeping them entertained and relaxed while you’re away. Your pup’s in good hands with me! I am a recent college graduate looking for a full time job, in the mean time I’d like to make some money while also helping others and their pets! All dogs deserve love! I know how to approach a dog so they can get to know me first without invading their personal space. dogs of all sizes are ones i’ve always worked with or even raised ! My dog has a fenced in yard and I’ve taught her how to walk on leash pretty well, she’s still young and a little crazy but fairly a good walker. Treats are always on me for my dog and she is rewarded for good behavior as I am still training her. She always on a leash outside of my home as it is safest for her and other dogs. I am home a lot for her and walk her almost everyday, if she isn’t walked then tiring her out using her toys and other things like lick matts are something I like to use in order to get her energy out. Overall, I am great with old or young dogs, as two of my previous dogs were well taken care of by me in their last years which were 17 and 13.
