About: I have grown up with medium to large sized dogs my whole life. I have experience with very friendly dogs and dogs that cannot play with others as well as puppies to older dogs. I have cared for my own pets and friends while growing up and can be trusted with any task to ensure your pets needs and safety! I can offer dog walking in the mornings (7-9am) or afternoons (4-7pm) during the week or anytime during the weekends. I am available on the weekends to check-in or stay with your animal overnight as well. I can check-in and care for your animal during the day or overnight at clients homes. I will ensure your pet is fed, walked, bathed, played with and let outside for their needs. I am comfortable with any specific instructions from the owners as well (medication that needs to be taken, crate training, etc).

About: I have owned dogs my whole life, and know how to take care of them. I also have experience with cats, I have helped my grandfather with a stray cat that chose him! I'm openly available, as of today. I like to volunteer, but that usually only takes about 4 or 5 hours. I will give your pet the time it needs. You make sure that they have plenty of fresh water, eat on time, and walk them every day when the sun is not too hot, eg in the morning or evening.

My own dog is a “foster fail” who was considered a “yellow” dog who was very untrusting of people. Now he is a lazy lapdog with no cares in the world. Lots of work to get there but I’d love to help anyone else who struggles to ring “the right” sitter for their stubborn pet. I have volunteered at the local spca to walk all the dogs (with pitties having that special place in my heart). Looking to build a new work/life balance focused on taking care of animals so I am free most days and times of the day. Weekends, daytimes and evenings welcome. Each animal is different. Some pets need time to warm up so I approach animals with respect in their own homes and take the time to gain their trust. I tend to get down on the animals level and let them approach me.

I understand the importance of making sure your guidelines for your pet are followed. I can give oral medications, follow your training rules, walk large dogs, handle dogs that aren’t friendly with strangers, high anxiety, and have disabilities (ex. Deaf, blind). These dogs are our best friends so I promise to take great care of yours :) If you have any additional questions for me, please don’t hesitate to ask. I am happy to chat or meet prior to booking to ensure I am a good fit for your pup! I believe in open communication to ensure the safety of you, your pet, me and mine. I work fully remote and am able to support daycare and boarding. I usually walk my dog morning, mid day and evening for 30 min to an hour at a time. I’d like to be able to support other people who need assistance. During the week your dog won’t be left alone for more than an hour depending on drop off and pick up time. During the weekend your dog won’t be left longer than 3-4 hours depending. We can always communicate your dogs specific needs to accommodate! I have a fenced yard in our home and a friendly, playful 2 year old male lab (fixed). If your dog is in my home, they do need to be friendly with other dogs. This is to ensure the safety of my dog and if I am boarding or hosting daycare for another dog. During the week I do work full time so there are times where I am in meetings so it is preferred your dog is not destructive, okay without supervision, or is okay in a crate or enclosed room. I communicate my anticipated work schedule and plan for the day with the pet owner.

Elaine is amazing—so kind, caring and truly understands small pups of all kinds! She has cared for our Penny since she was a puppy. Hard to believe it’s been 6years now! We have had to try others a couple of times when Elaine has been away (which is almost never!), but no one understands our Penny like Elaine. She is Penny’s person when we can’t be with her, that’s for sure! And we can rest assured knowing Penny will be lovingly cared for!
Andy and Lydia took great care of Axel and provided regular updates. My energetic boy came home happy and tired. Axel was very comfortable with Andy from the start and wanted attention from him before leaving. It typically takes him a bit to warm up, but Axel seemed so at ease from the beginning. Elaine was fantastic. This was the first time we have used Rover for our pups and it could not have gone any better. She watched our guys during our long vacation and the pups loved her. Melissa was amazing with Ollie! He just turned 1, so he has TONS of energy, and being a Golden Retriever, he loves putting everything in his mouth. She was so sweet and even gave him old towels to play with because she knew it made him happy. We loved getting updates every morning and evening, and she was so accommodating with all of Ollie’s quirks including his obsession with water and getting it EVERYWHERE. Her dog Tanner also loved having Ollie around! I was definitely anxious leaving my baby, but Melissa took such great care of him and made me feel completely comfortable. Ollie will be back to board with her again in a few weeks, and I’m so happy we found her!
Tiffany - Went above and beyond for our elder pup. He experienced stomach issues mid-way through his stay and she monitored his situation closely and provided constant communication. Ultimately he had to be taken to the vet and we are so thankful she was willing to take him on our behalf and administer his medicine. Tiffany is an angel!
