About: Hi, I’m Hannah, and I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend! I am a big animal lover and have been taking care of animals from kittens to Rottweilers for as long as I can remember. I’ve had a lifetime of experience caring for pets - whether they be my own or someone else’s. When I moved out and got my first pet two years ago, I discovered the struggle of balancing real life and responsibilities as a pet parent. When I made the move to Annapolis, I saw many others working through the same struggle - to balance life and pets. That’s where I want to help! You can be a good pet owner, no matter how busy life gets! I am available for walks, feedings, boarding, potty training, or whatever you might need support with! As a current dog mom myself, I want to support everyone out there who is trying their best to find that difficult balance for their critters. Don’t worry, you’ve got this, and I can’t wait to meet your pet! I currently work part-time on a flexible schedule, so I am able to go home quite a bit throughout the day to check on pets. I am available to give two mile or longer walks a day, and at least one mid-day bathroom break. I do have my own dog, Rose, and she lives in the apartment as well, so any dogs need to be spayed/neutered and vaccinated- just like she is. Your pet will have their own separate bedroom from Rose, that provides a calm, safe space for them during the day (and also gives any non dog-savvy cats a space alone). This bedroom will house their kennel, bed, food and water bowls, and anything else you’d like them to have. My apartment complex is very animal friendly and has a dog park right on sight for your furry friend to get off leash time. There are multiple side walks and small trails throughout my apartment community where I am free to walk dogs that stay with me. If I am commuting to your home, your dog will be guaranteed two long walks a day at feeding times and one mid-day bathroom break (more if needed). I can provide baths in my apartment or your home, and grooming if necessary.

About: I have owned dogs my whole life, and know how to take care of them. I also have experience with cats, I have helped my grandfather with a stray cat that chose him! I'm openly available, as of today. I like to volunteer, but that usually only takes about 4 or 5 hours. I will give your pet the time it needs. You make sure that they have plenty of fresh water, eat on time, and walk them every day when the sun is not too hot, eg in the morning or evening.

I always feed dogs separately to prevent food-related conflicts, and I never leave dogs together unattended, regardless of how well they get along. I carefully supervise playtime, respect each dog's individual boundaries, and provide separate spaces when needed. Since I work from home, I'm able to offer plenty of attention, frequent potty breaks, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. For walks and drop-in visits at your home, I make sure to follow your dog's established routine, including feeding schedules, exercise, medication administration, and any special instructions. My dog Carter and I had not been apart for a full day or even an overnight since I adopted him in January and I was very worried about being apart from him for nearly a week. Megan clearly made Carter feel at home, listened to the things I told her would help maintain Carter's routine, figured out how to adjust when Carter made clear he wasn't staying in his routine when he out of his routine. They clearly had great affection for one another and Megan sent me many photos and videos showing me that Carter was doing well.
