The Cockapoo I rescued from a horrible shelter in Oxford, NC lived to be 21yrs old. Had dogs all my life, friends have often entrusted me to watch their pets while they vacationed. Now happily married (we got married at the Senior Dog sanctuary in Severn), my wife Lydia has rescued and cared for many dogs since childhood. While I get to work from home (i.e will be able to tend to your dogs' every need, she has to run out to "make money" for milk bones and will assist during the evenings and on weekends. We love to take our dog to Quiet Waters park and with your permission, will take yours as well. Our home (albeit small) has a fully fenced yard. Tips are greatly appreciated - we provide much better service than any kennel!

Andy & Lydia did an outstanding job taking care of Bella. Andy was great at communicating how she was doing everyday & responding quickly to our texts. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing that Bella was having a fun time on her stay & being well taken care of. We will definitely use them again & recommend to others.

Andy was great as always. We had a few schedule changes due to the TSA waits at BWI over spring break, but Andy was quick to respond. We had daily updates and got a full report of how Nax did at the end. We've used Andy several times and will continue to.
Andy and Lydia take incredible care of Ghillie, I feel very safe when Ghillie is with them and I know she has an incredible time. Cannot recommend them enough!
Our Willow was well loved during our trip away. It was very reassuring that while we were on vacation, so was she! She loved going to the family farm and running around with the other pups. We received many photos and updates on how Willow was doing throughout her stay. We are so grateful for Andy and Lydia!

Schedule
I am fortunate to be able to work from home and will be able to tend to your dogs' every need (while also caring for my 4yr old Chocolate Lab).

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced yard, there will be a friendly 4yr old Chocolate Lab here for company. My friends consider me to be the dog whisperer, known to be reliable, loveable and patient. Your dog can come along on walks, visit Quiet Waters, and could even come to the family farm - which our dog loves.
Pets
A typical day
Your pet will be treated as part of our family and will take part of all activities we have planned for Luna. This routine includes daily morning walks, many outings into the fenced yard during the day (play time to chase balls, sticks, have zoomies). Evenings are nestled on the couch. Sleeping arrangements depend on your dog(s), we have crates setup for our dogs (one recently passed away), so that is an option. Otherwise they just might sleep with us.
