About: I have a few clients I dogsit for - grew up having pet cats for decades. I love animals! I volunteer at Kitten Rescue LA. I’ve helped train my sister’s German Shepherd. About: ABOUT ME 😊 I grew up with a pure bred 120 pound St. Bernard, two cats, and turtle to love and care for. I've also had three hamsters, two rabbits, and a ball python along the way, so animals have always been a part of my life and extended family. I'm relied upon by friends, neighbors, and family to petsit or walk their dogs when they're on vacation, sick, or injured. I love watching Cesar Milan's show, Better Human Better Dog, and have been inspired to pursue an animal trainer's certificate. I own and run a small business remotely from home and live with a cat and a dog. I occasionally see clients at my office a mile away for in-person sessions and am gone no longer than 4 to 5 hours when not at home. AT HOME 🏠 I live in a one bedroom apartment with a spacious living room, no yard, no carpet, with hardwood/tile flooring. My lifestyle is clean and minimal. I have an outgoing cat who thinks he's a dog and a sweet and easy going dog. They’re both playful, listen to commands, and get along with other friendly dogs, cats, and people. I strictly follow the owner's instructions and pet care routine given while adding, love, cuddles, and play time as needed. I also have separate room my cat/dog can stay in if the pet I'm sitting needs a little break from other animals or alone time with me. ON WALKS 🐕 When going on walks, I like to keep dogs close enough to avoid dangerous situations yet loose enough for them to explore. Unless the owner restricts it, socializing with other dogs is fine with me so long as the other dog is leashed and willing to socialize too. I grew up with a VERY large 120 pound St. Bernard and am experienced in walking large dogs that may bolt when getting excited, so keeping them calm and re-directing them to follow my lead is a must for their safety and well-being. I like to reward good behavior with love, attention, petting, and treats. Not-so-good behavior is re-directed in a calm and firm manner, but never reprimanded nor rewarded. Regardless of the pet's behavior, patience and understanding is key! MY POLICY ⭐ * NO PEE PADS ALLOWED. I only accept dogs that are fully housebroken and trained to relieve themselves outside. I live in an apartment and cannot afford to have other dogs smell any trace of pee/poo and be tempted to instinctually “over-mark” any “territory”. * A MEET & GREET IS REQUIRED prior to booking daycare and boarding requests. Daycare Hours: 7am-6pm, all other times are considered after-hours. Walking and Drop-In Hours: 7am-8pm, all other times are considered after-hours. Boarding Pick-up/Drop-off hours: 7am-8pm, all other times are considered after-hours. * Pick-up and drop-off times must be scheduled before booking. This helps makes sure all of your pup’s stuff is ready to go when you arrive. * If you are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled drop-off or pick-up, it will need to be rescheduled and will be charged a $20 late fee (plus additional Rover fees). I generally can accommodate changes in travel plans, so please let me know when plans change. * Anything scheduled during after-hours requires a fee of $40 (plus additional Rover fees). Scheduling during after-hours is not guaranteed. * Please plan your booking accordingly and be on-time to avoid the cost of fees or extended care. If your flight times are during after-hours, consider dropping-off a day before or picking-up the next day. * Please provide the following items when boarding your pet: -Food/bowls -Poop bags -Leash/collar -Bed/blankets/toys/treats (optional) * IN CASE OF ILLNESS OR MEDICAL EMERGENCY, please be prepared to provide payment directly to the care facility if your pet requires medical attention in your absence. If your preferred veterinarian or 24 hour hospital is within 5 miles of my home, then please provide that info, otherwise I will choose the closest most convenient one. If an owner does not respond to my emergency calls or texts in a timely manner or fails to provide payment for medical care, then their pet will be subject to Rover’s emergency protocol under the “Rover Guarantee” policy. Please note that I cannot cover any costs to care for your pet any time for any reason.

About: I have hands on experience raising two energetic and loyal German Shepherds. I offer a balanced approach to care, with focus on creating an stress-free , fun and safe environment. I’m currently working in La Crescenta from Monday- Friday 7:30am-4:00pm so I have all afternoons free to walk or drop in on your pets while you’re away. I can also do a quick drop in from 11:30am- 12:30pm At the moment I can not care for pets in my home but in a clients home I would get clear instructions from the client for house rules, feedings, medications, etc. Get to know the home and routines of the pets and have emergency contacts to call.

About: I've taken care of dogs for a long time. Extended family members have dropped off their pets with me when they are away on holiday. I enjoy playing with them. I work from home so your pet will have supervision at all times. Typically I walk my dog, Mochi, once in the morning. Sometimes I play fetch with her around noon if she's up for it. I feed her on schedule daily. I have a large fenced yard and one friendly dog who will enjoy a playmate, as you may see in the first photo of Mochi with the pavers and grass. I make sure that there is always fresh water available for Mochi and that she gets regular outdoor breaks.

I’ve had a Golden Retriever and a Staffordshire Terrier; I’m experienced in care, feeding, training, play, development, basic grooming, and daily dog needs. I’m available for weekday walks from 9 AM to 5 PM. Weekend and holiday walks are possible by prior arrangement, as I’m not always available. Unfortunately, I can’t care for pets in my home, as my building doesn’t allow animals. But I’ll gladly look after your pet elsewhere if needed.

About: We lost our blue nose pit bull 5 years ago. We are not ready to own a pet full time just yet but I would love to help other owners with their pets. I do have children my youngest being 4 so they do have to be children friendly but I also have a safe space your pet can be separate from the little ones when they want or need to be. About: Through personal experience doggies support humans emotionally so why not give them all the attention they deserve. I live in silverlake where most dogs enjoy a walk to the dog park! I mostly do daily walks and give good belly rubs. Dogs are the most selfless creatures therefore deserve to be treated with special care. It is my duty and honor to play many fun activities with your dog such as playing fetch to teaching them new tricks! About: I'm a former clinical research nurse coordinator dealing with human patients for 20 years before becoming disabled. I have had pets all of my life. I have adopted several cats and dogs from the humane society including a 3 legged Siamese cat who was a Siamese twin that surgically separated from his sister leaving them both with 3 legs. I have trained several my dogs including a temperamental Dalmatian mix. I currently have a 13 year old Chihuahua/American Eskimo mix, who has Cushing's Disease that is on medication twice a day, a 9 year old Rat Terrier/Toy Poodle mix and an 8 year old black short haired cat that loves snuggling. My little dogs love to play what I call trick or treat. The kitty loves to play fetch the hair elastic and fishing. I have recently started pet sitting for a cat in the neighborhood. I've always loved animals and as a child I wanted to be a veterinarian. I am a former clinical research nurse with 20 years of nursing experience who has been on disability for 10 years. I lost my husband to pancreatic cancer 4 years ago and I now am looking to supplement my income by working with animals and giving and receiving unconditional love. I make sure that the pets are fed, have water, and go potty, (which means cleaning up after them.) Of course play with and walk the dogs. I would come to your home at intervals of 1, 2 or 3 times a day or if you or if you need I can stay at your home to care for your pet.
