“Tomoko has been walking my dog for almost a month now and she’s so awesome! The minute we met for the meet and greet, her kindness and warmth shone through, putting both me and my pup at ease :) she’s very responsible through texts, always punctual, and ensures my pup gets his walk without a fail. If you’re looking for someone who loves animals and will take good care of them it’s Tomoko! ❤️”

I’m not just a sitter, but a true dog lover who is passionate about ensuring every dog I care for feels safe, happy, and understood. I tailor my care to each dog’s unique personality, whether it’s working with puppies to build solid training foundations, or providing gentle, specialized care for senior dogs. I’m experienced in managing behavioral issues, offering enrichment activities, and creating a calm, structured environment that keeps dogs engaged and relaxed. My goal is to not only care for your dog but to enrich their life while you’re away. I provide these services professionally. This isn’t a part time gig out of my apartment or parents home just to earn a few $$ here and there. I’ve dedicated my entire home, career and life towards making sure my /your furballs are taken care of the way nature intended. A love for dogs and cats can only take you so far, the rest falls on one’s knowledge, skills & experience, all of which I personally look for when considering someone with whom I will entrust the lives of the most important members of my family. Pet care is at the heart of my daily routine. I dedicate my entire day to giving dogs the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. From walks and playtime to ensuring they’re fed and comfortable, I tailor each day based on the individual dog’s needs. Whether it's a relaxing afternoon or an active outing, my priority is making sure every dog feels happy, safe, and loved throughout the day. I take great pride in creating a safe, comfortable environment for each dog, whether it's in my home or theirs. Safety always comes first, in the form of securing the space, monitoring playtime, and ensuring all pets are properly supervised. I always take the time to understand each owner’s preferences and routines, making sure their dog feels at ease and well-cared-for. By sticking to feeding schedules, using specific training techniques, or providing extra cuddles for dogs who need it, I tailor my care to fit each dog’s individual needs and the owner's expectations. When asked, pet owners love the feedback I offer them.
About: I absolutely love dogs. I've grown up with dogs all my life, sometimes with 5 in the house at a time. Along with taking care of my own dogs, I began dog sitting and dog walking for family members and family friends when I was 15. I love making dogs happy, getting them out of the house on walks, playing tug of war with them, or just cuddling on the couch. I am a full time college student taking mainly online classes so I have a good amount of availability. I am available Monday-Friday mainly all day, for the weekends I have limited availability but I can always be flexible. I think being respectful of what your boundaries are is most important. Every owner and pup is different and I can adapt well to the different needs for each one. I believe that being gentle and patient is a necessity when it comes to pet care. When walking or caring for your pet I will hold the upmost care for them.
About: I've taken care of dogs for a long time. Extended family members have dropped off their pets with me when they are away on holiday. I enjoy playing with them. I work from home so your pet will have supervision at all times. Typically I walk my dog, Mochi, once in the morning. Sometimes I play fetch with her around noon if she's up for it. I feed her on schedule daily. I have a large fenced yard and one friendly dog who will enjoy a playmate, as you may see in the first photo of Mochi with the pavers and grass. I make sure that there is always fresh water available for Mochi and that she gets regular outdoor breaks.
About: I'm a former clinical research nurse coordinator dealing with human patients for 20 years before becoming disabled. I have had pets all of my life. I have trained several my dogs including a temperamental Dalmatian mix. I currently have a 13 year old Chihuahua/American Eskimo mix, who has Cushing's Disease that is on medication twice a day, a 9 year old Rat Terrier/Toy Poodle mix and an 8 year old black short haired cat that loves snuggling. My little dogs love to play what I call trick or treat. The kitty loves to play fetch the hair elastic and fishing. I have recently started pet sitting for a cat in the neighborhood. I've always loved animals and as a child I wanted to be a veterinarian. I am a former clinical research nurse with 20 years of nursing experience who has been on disability for 10 years. I would come to your home at intervals of 1, 2 or 3 times a day or if you or if you need I can stay at your home to care for your pet.

About: We lost our blue nose pit bull 5 years ago. We are not ready to own a pet full time just yet but I would love to help other owners with their pets. I do have children my youngest being 4 so they do have to be children friendly but I also have a safe space your pet can be separate from the little ones when they want or need to be. I am vaccinated in case thats a concern and I grew up with all different types of animals my whole life as well as worked taking care of, full time, a rescue that consisted of 16 cats, 5 dogs and 5 horses. Montrose Verdugo City dog parents share their Rover experiences
So grateful to Eliana for being able to take on the job so last minute and perfectly follow the care instructions for my boys without needing the meet and greet. The dogs loved her and I could 100% trust her with my apartment. Despite the challenges my dogs can put someone new through, she handled it all with great professionalism and experience!

It was our first experience engaging a dog walker. Tomoko took the time to do a meet n greet prior to our dog walk requested date. She patiently listed to our sharing our dog’s behaviors , habits and reactions , and how to manage in various situations. She id proactive in raising questions to related concerns that we didn’t cover . Tomoko arrived slightly early on the walk date, she immediately strikes up a friendly rapport with our dog. She had an hr dog walk and reported potty frequency n took photos throughout the walk to post on app . We and our dog are very happy and satisfied with Tomoko’s services. She is a friendly, reliable and safety conscious dog walker that we will get her service again as needed
