About: While I don't have formal experience, I've spent my whole life taking care of pets at home. I've even raised our current pups from puppies to adulthood, handling everything from feeding to playtime. My goal is to treat every pet like part of the family. As we head past graduation and into the summer, I will have a very flexible schedule! I'm available on the weekends, evenings, and soon to be during the weekdays as well! Every pet deserves the family treatment! I'm careful to follow their set routines and rules - whether it's playtime, feeding, or crate time. Your pet's safety always comes first!

About: I have taken care of animals by volunteering at the Kansas City pet project as well as fostering animals. I love being around animals and making sure they are well taken care of. I am taking two summer classes, Tuesday and Thursdays 9:15 am- 11:15 am. Other than that, I am available all days other than the dates marked off on the calendar. I care for pets by making sure they are let out when they need to be, making sure they are fed, and by giving them plenty of love!

About: Red rover, red rover, send your doggies right over! I have taken care of animals my entire life and have always had multiple in the house with me. I love fur babies and the joy they bring. They may just be a part of our life, but we are their whole world so I want to fill it with as much joy and love as I can! Im a traveling animal sitter! Im available for overnights, drop ins or just taking walks. I’m very flexible and willing to work out a deal that best fits your needs! my schedule is very flexible and open. My schedule is perfect for mid day visits to check in on your baby while at work or out of town. I can also do evening visits if you have plans after work and just need help with feeding and potty breaks! I also do overnights, 1-3 night stays only I always like to have at least one meet and greets before the assigned booking! To make sure the dogs like me and go over more specifics like feeding, outdoor time, kennels, etc. No problem if we don’t have time to meet first though! I’m comfortable doing bookings without meeting first as long as I’m given some written instructions!

“Ashley is great! Our dog, Arlo, is a 75lb, 8 month old puppy and while he is the goofiest, most loving guy...he can also be a pain in the butt sometimes. Ashley handled Arlo (and our home) with great care. She is reliable and has great communication. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing a trustworthy and loving dog walker!”

About: I have been boarding pets and dog sitting for family and friends for over twenty years, and previously worked as a vet tech and shelter volunteer. Boarding rates are so high, just for the pup to sit in a kennel most of the day, so we are kennel free (unless the owner requests I use theirs) and no extra charge for playtime or extra treats! My family are all pet lovers here as well, so my husband and kids love having extra dogs around to spoil with treats, snuggles, and endless playtime in the backyard. We never watch more than three pets at a time, to make sure every one of them gets plenty of attention. I know a lot of sitters watch up to 8, but we like controlled chaos! I have a big fenced in backyard, tons of dog and cat toys and tennis balls, and of course washable couch cushions and rugs everywhere because we know accidents happen 😂 My golden loves having new playmates, and is passive to a fault. I work remotely part time from home while working on my Masters, previously I worked at the Social Security Administration HQ here in KCMO. I can administer medication, and my speciality is elderly dogs that need extra attention and/or dogs that don’t do well in typical boarding situation due to anxiety and/or destructive behaviors because here, they can have as much attention as they do (or don’t!) want! I currently work from home 20 hours a week medical billing and coding, my schedule is flexible and my children are both in daycare/elementary school and gone from approx 8-4. I have a fenced in large yard in a quiet neighborhood, so I walk dogs I watch/my dogs 1-2 times a day and let out any elderly dogs I am currently watching through the front door to avoid the deck steps. I feed my dogs twice a day, they drink filtered water and get denta sticks each day. I always bring dog treats on walks so reinforce good behavior. We consider our pets people here, so getting on furniture is allowed as well, unless the owner says no discourage.

About: Hello! I’ve taken care of family and friend’s dogs for about 8 years now and I have a dog of my own! Her name is Wednesday and she’s a German Shepherd Mix that I’ve had for 2.5 years. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds and treat them all like the little fur babies they are! I work from home and I have a very flexible schedule so I will be available to drop in and take your dog(s) as many times as needed throughout the day. I will make sure to follow their normal routine as much as possible. Such as feeding times, frequency in walks/potty time, play time, etc. Additionally, I am a huge dog lover and I have no problem cuddling, petting, and playing with your fur-baby while I care for them.

About: Hi there! I’m Citara – a single mom with a big heart for animals! I know how important it is to have someone you trust with your furry family members. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or cozy visits with your cat, I treat every pet like my own. Reliable, caring, and flexible – I’m here when you need me. I love being around animals, so spending time caring for pets is something I truly enjoy and make time for. It’s not just a side job—it’s something that brings me peace and purpose. I provide pet care in the comfort of the client’s home because I believe pets feel most safe and relaxed in their own environment. I follow all routines and instructions carefully—from feeding and walks to playtime and medications—so your pet’s day stays as normal as possible. I treat every home with respect and every pet with patience, love, and attention. Safety and trust are my top priorities, and I always make sure your pet is secure, happy, and well cared for while you're away.

Profile update: Hi, a lot has changed since I first joined Rover so I wanted to inform everyone of those changes so you are aware of our new kids. :) I no longer have my three elderly babies as they have all passed away due to old age. We now have two new babies Six and Pepper. Six is my 2 year old Border Collie/Heeler mix. She's very spunky, sweet, and playful! Pepper is our 2 1/2 yr old 7 lb. poodle. She is basically my daughters little sidekick and spends almost all of her time with her. She sometimes thinks she's a Doberman, but she's harmless and warms up quick. Once she warms up she's ready to run with the big (and little) dogs! They're both very sweet and playful girls and are used to lots of new visitors all the time. :) I'm home full-time and take care of my two kids, two dogs, and our aquatic turtle. Aside from running occasional errands or appointments, I'm able to give your dog or dogs all the love, attention, and playtime that they need. I'm also available for daily dog walks if needed. I have a large fully fenced yard for them to run and play in. They are all inside and outside frequently throughout the day as needed or as they please. I'm happy to cater to any individual needs. 2/23/25 Update: Hi, so its now been about 23 years of working with all these beautiful, loyal, and loving canine friends! Im still available for boarding when you're away, home drop-ins, and daily walks or potty breaks if you don't have time. We have a new family member now. Marley is our newest baby girl. She is a two year old Dalmatian and she is super sweet and full of spunk and playful energy! She gets along with everybody. :) So our household currently consists of Me, my partner, my two daughters, 10 & 16, Six, Pepper, Marley, Mr.B (water turtle), and newest member, Dude (The Blue Betta :) My name is Amber Autumn. Autumn is my middle name, and I went by Autumn when I started my Rover Acct. Feel free to call me either, just wanted everyone to know my first name also so there would be no confusion. Please let me know if you are in need of a sitter or services and I would be happy to help! Can't wait to meet new friends and see old ones again! Cant wail for warm weather and lots more sunshine and playtime! :)) Basically I live and breath kids and dogs and my world pretty much revolves around my kids and yours. :) I have learned a lot over the last 23 years so I am very qualified in giving your pup the care they want and need while you are away. I have a very large fully fenced in yard and 3 friendly and playful babes to keep your baby company. Everyone has free roam in the house or outside during the day. I can also kennel if need be or I only kennel if need be or at night or if I leave the house for any reason. If I come to your home, I would follow any instructions you give mv e and the time frame that you are needing services.

Emma O.
“We have had Emma care for our animals for several years now. I love how she is diligent and timely and sends us pictures or texts to keep us informed when she is at our house. We have numerous horses and a dog on our property. She takes extra time with the dog allowing him to get out and exercise. I fully trust her with our house key. She brings our mail in for us. Some of our animals require medication, and she is able to properly dispense the medications as directed. We depend upon Emma for all of our trips.”

Draven R.

“Draven is great with Milo who is very apprehensive of new people. He took to her right away. She communicates very well, and I love the pictures she sends me.”

Baylee B.

“Baylee has always been surrounded by dogs. She comes from a family where there has always been multiple dogs and all of them were treated as a member of the family. The joke has been made that her animals fared better than she or her family. Baylee was a very devoted "dog mom" to her best friend of 12 years. I truly have never seen someone who had or has the type of bond Baylee shared with her dog/best friend Penny. It was truly remarkable. She now is the owner of a Welsh Corgi who is special in her own unique way. Baylee also is a frequent visitor at her parents home where she loves and cares for their Bassett Hound, Husky and Lab mix. I highly recommend that you consider Baylee to hep you with your pet. I am sure she would give them a lot of love and care when you are not able to do it yourself.”

Jacqueline S.Star Sitter
“Jacque has watched my pets for four years now. I have three dogs and two cats. My corgis love when she arrives because she showers them with love and cuddles. My dogs are obese so Jacque is always careful with feedings, and diligent about walks. My cats are usually scarce with strangers, but they will great her. All in all she is very responsible, follows directions, and is loved by all the fur babies. ❤️ I couldn't ask for a better sitter.”

Sierra D.
“Sierra is an avid dog lover. With a sweet pup of her own, Sierra is well-versed in working with dogs of all kinds. She has worked with her dog to build discipline and showers her with love every chance she gets. She is quick to love on dogs and other animals when she sees them around and always handles them with care and respect. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for the right person to support you and your pets’ needs! She is very communicative, easy to work with, and will ensure your pup is treated like family!”

Citara J.
“I’ve known Citara J. for years, and I can honestly say she’s one of the most dependable, caring, and thoughtful people I know—especially when it comes to animals. She has a natural way with pets, always patient, gentle, and attentive to their needs. Whether it’s playing with high-energy pups or making shy animals feel safe, Citara just gets them. I’ve seen her care for dogs as if they were her own—always making sure they’re walked, fed, cuddled, and most of all, happy. She’s incredibly responsible, quick to notice when something’s off, and genuinely loves being around animals. Any pet in her care is going to be loved, safe, and well taken care of. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to leave my own pets with her, and I know any other pet parent would feel the same.”
