About: I have owned dogs throughout my whole life. At one point Our pack totaled 6. I’ve owned 2 horses, a guinea pig, a rabbit, and a cat. I worked as an apprentice vet tech until the veterinarian died unexpectedly of a heart attack. I have recently pursued more education regarding grooming. I have groomed my own dogs and friends dogs over the years. I am conscientious and will never allow a dog to be in pain seeking medical care immediately. I would like it to be part time to start with the option of going full time further down the road. I am working on grooming lessons, and my current part time job. I believe in being observant of their behaviors and to respond accordingly. Our dogs receive much love and play time. They are allowed to be with us and on our furniture. I realize that many owners frown upon that and I will honor their wishes when caring for their pet

About: With over 2 decades of hands-on experience, I have taken care of most breeds of dog, many cats, fish, reptiles, and birds as well! I have an older sister who is a veterinarian and she has passed down care tips essential for perfect pet care. I worked in a dog kennel for three years and was in charge of 20+ dogs and cats a day, their feeding schedules, play groups, medications, and decent and basic care such as baths and grooming. Mornings are filled with cuddles, complete feedings, morning walks, and kisses before my partner and I head off to work. While at work, pets are in a climate controlled environment with multiple cameras on at all times. Water is placed in every room, and safe secluded areas can also be provided. Given I have my own pets, their care is my #1 priority. I have cameras with motion sensor notifications allowing me to check in frequently, and do not work far from my home incase an animal needed immediate attention. Pets are always given attention ad soon as the work day is finished, and spending time with them is always a joy!

“This is the first time we left Fiona with anyone. She is a rescue and has some aggression and trustissues. Dori sang to her every visit and knew just what to do to get Fiona to trust her. She came when she said she would and made sure Fiona was fed and went outside as she needed to be. Would use Dori !!”

“Tina is a wonderful pet sitter who took excellent care of my diabetic cat Buddy! Right off the bat when I first met Tina I got an excellent first impression. She is very warm and friendly and was great with Buddy! When I came home after my week away Buddy was relaxed and happy.”

About: I have hands on experience with both young and senior dogs, as well as large and small breeds. I currently care for my own two pups, a playful 2 year old Newfoundland and a sweet 13 year old Shih Tzu. This means I’m well versed in managing very different energy levels, needs, and personalities all under one roof. In addition, I understand the importance of gentle care for seniors, including medication routines, mobility support, and extra patience. At the same time, I can keep up with the energy, training needs, and socialization of younger dogs. Whether your dog is a tiny lap companion or a big, goofy cuddlebug, I provide personalized attention, safety, and love like they’re my own. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I work around 35 hours a week over 6 days, but most of my shifts are only 4–5 hours long, which gives me plenty of time each day to focus on the pets in my care. I usually only have one longer shift a week, up to 9 hours on Saturdays, but I always plan my pet care responsibilities around that in advance to make sure every animal gets the attention, playtime, and care they need. Because I’m used to managing my time between work and my own two dogs (a senior Shih Tzu and a young Newfoundland), I’ve built a routine that allows me to be present, dependable, and flexible when caring for other pets too. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, comfortable environment that keeps them feeling safe and secure in their own space. Whether it’s a dog, cat, or another companion animal, I stick closely to their usual routine feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and anything else they need to stay happy and healthy. I adapt to each pet’s personality, whether that means quiet company, energetic play, or extra patience and care for seniors or shy animals. I also treat your home with respect keeping things clean, following your instructions, and making sure everything is just as you left it. My goal is simple: to make your pets feel cared for, loved, and stress free while you're away.

About: I have taken care of family and friend’s dogs for the past 6 years, and I currently am working at a vet hospital and have been in the field for a year in September. Before that I was working at a kennel, as an assistant. I have had a lot of experience with all different types of animals and know how to handle them. I work at a local vet. I am available when needed and if I have work, I can come in during my lunch, before, and after work! I have extra leashes, treats, and toys available that can be brought anywhere I am needed. I have an electric fence at my house, so preferably it would be easier to go to someone else’s home to care for their pets. I will accommodate to the owners needs!

About: I spent over 15 years caring for my own dog with a heart full of love. As a result of caring for her (as well as other pets including dogs, cats, birds, bunnies and more), I’ve gained experience in pet sitting, dog walking, and providing compassionate care. I've become the go-to buddy for pets when their humans are away. I understand the nuances of different pet personalities and cater to each one's unique needs. Your beloved companion's health, happiness, and tail wags are my top priority! I do work a full time day job (Mon-Fri, 8-4:30). However, I am available anytime after 5 on Fridays and weekend mornings. I’m open to providing services outside these specified days/times but that would be on a more as needed basis and would require more communication. I love to discuss your pets needs and see how I can best accommodate, though! I’d love to know a bit about your pet’s personality. Just like people, every pet is different and has specific needs to thrive. My girl was rambunctious early on but chilled out as the years went by. I adjusted as needed but her need for affection always remained. I made sure to modify our interactions to keep her happy. Other pets I’ve cared for have needed lots of playing time, down time with company, specific feedings, medicines or other requirements. Please, tell me all about them :)

About: My family has fostered dogs since I was in middle school. I have taken dogs to events to meet prospective adopters and have cared for 13 dogs in the household at once. For almost 2 years I have worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility while in college. There I supervise groups of dogs and correct unwanted behavior while giving pets and love so that dogs have a good time while they are with us. I also do a lot of cleaning where I work. I am not afraid to get dirty or clean up poop, I have been doing it for years with many different animals. I have had a cat since I was in elementary school and occasionally we have cats board at the facility I work at while in school. I am currently doing a full time internship, so this will be part-time work. I am available all day Friday and Saturday, as well as evenings every other day of the week. I end at different times for my internship but generally I can do starting at 6pm. I am very comfortable around dogs of all sizes and am able to give lots of snuggles. I am able to crate a pet if needed and correct bad behaviors if needed as I am in school for animal behavior.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is trying to be every dogs best friend. I've taken care puppies to senior dogs. (Bathing, Feeding, Walking). I am currently available (Monday-Sunday). There is no time limit meaning I can watch the dogs early morning hours, afternoon, evening and even over night! I care for pets in my clients home by respecting the owners wishes. For example I had a client request their dog stay downstairs so the dog stayed downstairs. Also following their regular schedule.

Patrice C.
“To Whom This May Concern, I am writing this letter on behalf of my sister Patrice Carrignan in regards to her potential employment with rover. I would like to offer my enthusiastic recommendation for Patrice as I believe she would be an asset and responsible team member for your agency. Throughout her life I have watched her grow within each work environment as a reliable and professional employee. Animals have always been a passion for Patrice growing up as she has had her own Dogs that she has raised and taken great care of. Her personality is bubbly, friendly and loving to everyone around her. The amount of happiness I see within her while working with at the animal shelter shows her compassion to help within this field. I trust her to care for my pets and she would be a great choice to care for yours to.”

Brianna O.
“I strongly recommend Brianna! She is a wonderful young lady who’s heart is set with taking care of all animals. She has plenty of experience as she has grown up with cats, dogs, and she’s lived on a farm with farm animals too! She’s had reptiles and fish in her life as well. She’s so gentle with animals and always give them love. She seems to be a dog whisperer too, as all dogs she meets falls in love with her while she falls in love with them! If you’re looking for a sitter or a walker, I strongly advise you to at least talk to Brianna about her walking and/or watching your furry friends!”

Rachel P.
“There are few people on this planet I trust my cats with. I have two elderly kitties who are special needs, one with kidney disease and the other is missing one of her front legs. Not only does Rachel ensure all their basic needs are meet, she exceeds expectations by caring for my babies as if they’re her own. She loves, snuggles, plays, and entertains my cats whenever she’s with them, and I can tell that my two cats love her just as much as she loves them. We now lovingly refer to her as Auntie Rachel. I’ve had the pleasure of using Rachel for extended vacations and for short pop ins as well, and she’s attentive, punctual, and reliable. I would very highly recommend Rachel to care for your pets.”

Jasmine S.
“Jasmine is a reliable dog sitter & I highly recommend her to care for your pets needs. She is kind & responsible. She took excellent care of our 40 lb rescue pup while we were on vacation. I'm happy to know I have a trustworthy care giver for our dog Ruby in the future !”
Norwich dog parents share their Rover experiences
Francis was phenomenal with the girls, one is so shy and doesn't really appreciate any strangers or newcomers but she was more at home with Francis than even my own family. She's definitely a great sitter and you can tell she cares for all the animals she sits, and she kept my girls on their schedule perfectly with extra love and care making it much easier for me to be apart from them (one of my girls would've gone home with her if she could). 10/10 would recommend to anybody I know and will for sure be keeping as preferred sitter for the future.
