I currently have two dogs of my own and have spent my life caring for variety of pets including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and snakes. Growing up in a family involved in pet care (dog grooming, pet sitting, and boarding), I learned early on that every animal has its own personality, needs and routine. My calendar is up to date to ensure I could fully accept and commit to your pet/family member. When caring for pets in client’s home, I respect your space and follow your routines exactly as requested. I will double check all locks, gates, doors, and ensure there is provided fresh water. I will share photos and updates so you have peace of mind of how they are doing. At home, I live in an apartment complex where both my dogs are crate trained and following a structure routine. I ensure a safe and comfortable space for the both of them.

About: Hi! My name is Summer, and I'm originally from Colorado and am a student at Chapman University. Back home, I have two Aussie Doodles that I would walk every day. Since my Freshman year of high school, I have taken care of several dogs and cats in my neighborhood. Whether it was routine walks, letting them out if my neighbor had a busy day, watching them overnight, or just giving them some love and playtime, I was always there. I would love to do the same for my new neighbors here in California. While I miss my pets, I can't wait to love yours! I'm currently a student at Chapman University and have a lighter class load this semester, which allows me to devote more time to pet sitting and walking. On Monday, I have a class from 4:00pm-6:50pm; on Tuesday and Thursday, classes from 11:30am-5:15pm; on Wednesday, a class from 1:00pm-3:50pm; and no class on Fridays. As long as I have notice, I can always take care of pets on the weekends as well! I have a car, so I can easily go back and forth from school to take care of your animal and stay with them, not only to let them out and feed them, but also to give them loads of love and playtime. Before entering or staying at a client's home, I discuss personal house rules and boundaries so we are always on the same page. I also provide several photos of the animals while I'm with them, and location updates while walking!

Having grown up with two different sets of Shih Tzus, I love learning each animals’ unique personality and bond with them. I have the ability to both provide care at my house as well as travel to yours to help reduce stress on your pets! I have a small fenced in patio for business to be taken care of, as well as access to parks/dog parks within my neighborhood if your pet is comfortable with that. I have a gate to block the stairs (at my house) in case your pet likes to wander, and have the ability to let them roam throughout the house. Whatever your pet is used to, I try to accommodate that!

I do theater every now and then but overall my schedule is wide open and ready to share the love and care necessary for your furry companion. I’m not sure why Rover says I don’t allow animals on the furniture. I don’t mind unless it’s a rule within your home to keep them down (: I will honor all of your wishes with caring for your loved one and treat them as if they were my own. I have a fenced backyard and safe neighborhood for walks. Your furry friends will be protected and their comfort is always going to be top priority whether in your home or mine. (:

About: I've taken care of people's animals since I was 10 years old, whether it's paid or unpaid. I've cared for them and love them as my own. I'm currently studying for the Asvab to join the Army online, but that also means that I'm free all the time unless I'm booked for another client. I can provide a safe shelter for your pets. I can easily crate them if needed. I have a fenced, big yard they could play. I prefer pet-sitting them in my client's home so that they can feel comfortable and safe in a familiar environment.
