About: Hi! My name is Nikki, I just graduated from UCSC with a B.S. in Neuroscience and a B.A. in Psychology and am now training as an EMT. I have a 3 year old cat named Mr. Whiskers that I adopted during my time in Santa Cruz and quite a few family pets - a 13 year old standard poodle, a 13 year old yorkie-poo, a 5 year old miniature labradoodle, and a 1 year old cat (along with a tortoise and some other exotic pets!). I have always loved dog-sitting for my neighbors, with breeds including german shepherds, golden retrievers, labs, doodles, jack russel's, and other mixed breeds. I'd been consistently dog-sitting for 4 years until I took a break being in Santa Cruz, since my client base is in Socal, but had committed myself to caring for my own cat and my friend's pets when they are out of town. When it comes to caring for your pet, I will dedicate just as much love and care as I do my own! Additionally, my cat has unfortunately had to deal with some urinary issues causing him to be on a permanent urinary prescription diet and having to take meds during his flare-ups. Because of this, I completely understand the struggles of caring for a loved pet with health issues. It has allowed me to be very comfortable with administering both pill and liquid forms of medication to pets and punctual with needed times of administration. I would love to take care of your fur babies for enrichment, feeding, playing, and anything you already do with them that helps them feel happy and comfortable! I am currently training as an EMT and doing a part time internship but have time before and after both of these to spend time with your pets! I am super flexible with the environment that I am in to care for your pets and want them to feel as comfortable as possible while their owners are gone. I have no problem following very specific routines for your pet's needs!

About: I have been both a cat and dog owner, and have taken care of friends' pets before. I do not have experience training puppies or taking care of senior or special needs animals! But I am responsible, responsive, and flexible. I like going for walks and also just relaxing with your pets at home. I am also more than happy to do other services like feeding fish, watering plants, and taking in mail for longer house sitting bookings. I have an open and flexible schedule! About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was in high school. I have experience boarding, walking, and in general taking care of dogs from puppies to older dogs, as well as cats. I believe that each pet is truly unique and strive to cater to those individualities that make our pets so special ❤️ I also strive to ensure each pet parent feels comfortable during our walks and/or stays and will provide pictures and updates throughout our time together. I love all animals and can guarantee that your pet will be loved and cared for while we are together like one of the family. I have a flexible schedule so you can book any time that works for you. Please message me if you have any specific date or time requests! At home services I can feed, water, brush, and play with your dog and make sure they have all needs met that you request. I strive for all dogs and owners to feel comfortable so please let me know your expectations for in home or overnight visits and I will be sure they happen. For cats, I also have experience giving cats medications and caring for multiple cats at one time. I love cats so much and currently have one cat, Miso. He is truly a light in my life so I know how important your kitty is to you!

About: I've had animals my whole life and been the go to animal sitter for family members, friends, and neighbors since I was young because I'm very dependable Working on my chemical engineering master’s and in between jobs so my schedule is fully open. Feel free to text me at anytime even in the middle of the night if needed I've taken care of many types of animals with a variety of temperaments, from aggressive dogs to pets with separation anxiety. I'm extremely adaptable and able to take care of giant dogs as well.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was a teenager. Friends and family completely trust their fur babies in my care. I treat every dog as my own. I currently work full-time in an office but I have flexibility to care for your fur babies when needed. I’m available during the week early morning or at noon and also have open availability on the weekends when needed. I have a fenced yard and also a very large park area in my community to take my pup and yours for a walk. When watching pups in others home I make sure to follow exact instructions left and treat every pet with the upmost love and respect

About: I have grown up having and taking care of dogs my whole life, as well as looking after friends' dogs while they are away. I truly believe that a pet is apart of the family and should be treated as such. When sitting dogs I am willing to take extra time and put in the effort to make sure they are fed, exercised, hydrated, and loved as they would be with their family. I am a student-athlete home from college for the summer. I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to spend mornings, midday check ins, and evenings with your pets. I am available to stay overnight if needed. I see pet sitting as an opportunity rather than a task, being excited to look after a part of your family. I am able to take dogs on long walks and keep up with high-energy play time, but I am just as happy providing a calm environment for a more relaxed dog. I am extremely respectful of your space and privacy. I follow all house rules regarding 'off-limits' furniture, feeding schedules, and security protocols; ensuring all doors and gates are double-checked and locked after every visit. Your pet and home's safety, as well as your peace of mind, are my top priorities. I keep dogs on a short, secure leash during walks and avoid high-traffic areas.

“We have a very active 60 lb. dog who requires a daily hike. Tina took Hazel out for an hour each day, and when it proved too hot in the afternoon she switched to mornings. She followed all of our requests and Hazel really liked Tina. She (Tina, not Hazel) left the house clean and tidy. We have already made arrangements to hire Tina again. We recommend her wholeheartedly.”

About: I’ve taken care of my own animals my entire life, ranging from cats and dogs to hamsters and rabbits. Several of my cats and dogs have needed help with medication for arthritis, etc. so I am also comfortable and familiar with senior care. I am retired so my schedule is extremely flexible.
