“Wendy did a wonderful job watching our 2 little dogs Theo and Owen. They require special food preparation and supplements and she took extra care to see that it was done properly. She sent many photos throughout our trip which made us feel connected and confident that the dogs were well cared for.”

“Alexandra took care of our Dog and Cat while we were away. She was very attentive to their needs and followed all our instructions regarding medication and food including watering our plants. My pets seemed to have loved her and we were happy with her care.”

“The guilt of leaving one of our family members behind is a horrible feeling. Sarah made us feel so much better by checking in on Burberry, feeding him and spending a little time with him. She sent us pictures every time she dropped in and gave us updates on what he was doing. We are so happy to have found Sarah and will be calling her any time we plan to leave our home! Thank You again Sarah for taking care of our “chunky monkey!” Tom, Lela. and kids especially Burberry!❤️”

About: Our family loves dogs of all sizes and ages! We live in Anaheim Hills, with a large fenced in grassy yard. Plenty of room to get the zoomies or find a nice spot to nap in the shade! We have experience giving medication to older dogs and lots of experience with puppies! We have a senior Beagle, no other pets, so your fur baby will get lots of love and attention! We hate leaving our own dog, we know how hard it is. We can keep your pup safe and happy until you get back and send you lots of pictures while you’re gone! Also available for walks and drop ins! Come with lots of scratches and love for your pup until you get home! For dog walks, let me know if you’d like your dog tired out on a run/jog rather than just a walk. My husband and I are both home all day. We work from home and don’t go out much! Our pup and our visiting pups eat on schedule, get to go out back to sunbathe or play anytime, and get walked around our quiet neighborhood. We have a fenced in grassy yard, a quiet house on a quiet street and lots of experience with all types of pets. We have lots of windows for the dogs that like to keep an eye on things. We also take a minimum of 2-3 walks daily. We are also less than 3 miles from VCA Animal Hospital in case of medical emergencies.
About: Hi! My name is Nikki, I am a student at UCSC from Southern California and have a lot of experience with many different animals. Here in Santa Cruz I have a 3 year old cat named Mr. Whiskers. At home in Socal I also have a 13 year old standard poodle, a 13 year old yorkie-poo, a 5 year old miniature labradoodle, and a 1 year old cat (along with a tortoise and some other exotic pets!). I have always loved dog-sitting for my neighbors, with breeds including german shepherds, golden retrievers, labs, doodles, jack russel's, and other mixed breeds. I'd been consistently dog-sitting for 4 years until I took a break being in Santa Cruz, since my client base is in Socal, but have committed myself to caring for my own cat and my friend's pets when they are out of town. When it comes to caring for your pet, I will dedicate just as much love and care as I do my own! Additionally, my cat has unfortunately had to deal with some urinary issues causing him to be on a permanent urinary prescription diet and having to take meds during his flare-ups. Because of this, I completely understand the struggles of caring for a loved pet with health issues. It has allowed me to be very comfortable with administering both pill and liquid forms of medication to pets and punctual with needed times of administration. I am a full-time student so I provide drop ins before and after my classes and work around school schedule. I'm available on all days in the morning and evening and afternoons on all days except tuesdays and thursdays. When doing drop-ins, I would love to take care of your fur babies for enrichment, feeding, playing, and anything you already do with them that helps them feel happy and comfortable! I am currently a full-time student but my classes are very bunched together so I have plenty of time before and after classes to give love to your pets! I am super flexible with the environment that I am in to care for your pets and want them to feel as comfortable as possible while their owners are gone. I have no problem following very specific routines for your pet's needs!

“Nicole did a great job taking care of our kitties. She sent lots of pictures which helped to ease our mind. We would definitely have her take care of our babies again!”

About: I’ve spent most of my life around dogs and grew up helping care for two poodle mixes from puppyhood through their senior years. Both of them are still part of my family today at 15 years old, and caring for them throughout every stage of life has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding each dog’s unique personality and needs. I’ve always had a special place in my heart for animals and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. Whether your dog loves walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having a calm companion around, my goal is to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I will treat your dog with the same kindness and attention that I would want for my own pets. I currently work part-time, which allows me flexibility to provide dependable pet care throughout the week. I understand how important consistency is for pets, and I do my best to follow each dog’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. Whether your pet needs a midday visit, an evening walk, or extra attention while you’re away, I’m committed to providing reliable and compassionate care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I take time to learn each dog’s routine, personality, and any special instructions before a visit. During walks and drop-in visits, I provide attentive care, ensure fresh water is available, and make sure your pet feels safe and cared for while you’re away. I also believe communication is important, so I’ll provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands.
About: I raised my very own White lab who is known for being the most people friendly dog ever. Plus, I used to work as a dog walker for wag. Currently running a business out of my garage and am looking to make some money on the side to support myself. I’m currently working on a start-up out of my garage so my schedule is extremely flexible. I can work when I want and shift things around as needed. I take a slow walk up, where I squat down to eye level with the dog to allow them to sniff me and register that I am friendly and not a threat towards them.

About: While I am new to Rover, I’ve been caring for other dogs for over 3 years and and have a 5-year-old dog of my own who I’ve raised since she was 6 weeks old. She’s fully my responsibility, and through her, I’ve learned the ins and outs of feeding, walking, bathing, and giving lots of love. I walk her every single day and I’ve taken her on many adventures, including hikes, trips, beach days, and more. I’ve also looked after dogs for friends and neighbors, whether they needed someone to stop by, go on walks, or provide overnight care. I treat every pet like they’re part of the family. I’m also happy to provide clients with references of past pet owners who I’ve dog watched for! I currently a junior in college and am on summer break, which gives me a flexible schedule to provide reliable and consistent care. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, or sitting on weekends and most weekdays after the afternoon. I’ll make sure your pet gets the attention and love they need while you’re away. I care for pets in the comfort of their own home, where they feel safest and most relaxed. I always follow your routine closely and treat your space with respect. Whether it’s giving meds, sticking to feeding times, or just being there for companionship.
“Allison is so great with my puppy Golden Retriever named Honey! She was right on time and did such an amazing job caring for my little fluff ball. She communicates very well and does not hesitate to ask a question if she has one. The pics she shared were super fun and Honey looked so happy. Thanks Allison, cannot wait to your next session with Honey!”

I currently make my own schedule so am free most mornings and starting the new year I’ll be scaling back my work load to have some more free time on the weekends. When caring for someone else’s pet I will always make sure to double check w the parents and send constant updates. Wendy is amazing! I just adopted my dog June from a shelter this week, and leaving him post-neutering for my first day back at the office was so stressful. She made herself available at the last minute and was incredibly caring and helpful to both of us. June and I are so grateful!

Homeyra is such an amazing petsitter! We were completely worry free while on vacation. Homeyra sent wonderful updates and fun pictures to us each day. She took such good care of our kitty and basically treated her like royalty! For future trips, we will definitely request Homeyra again!! She’s the best!!

Hannah was extremely attentive when taking care of my cats. She played with them and took great care of them. One of my cats over grooms and she contacted my emergency contact when she felt he needed care. I felt my cats were extremely well taken care of and loved. I would book her again 100%. Thank you so much!
